I definitely feel like the horse has a part in the time traveling aspect of the show. I don't know how yet but it seems kind of weird that he just shows up. But then again now we know that he belongs to Del's new neighbor so who knows.
I have to say, Hallmark Channel has really stepped up their game with the actors and writing for this show. It's fresh, exciting, realistically wholesome, but so well done. I also have to say the chemistry between Chyler and Evan is fire. Can't wait to see what happens next.
What if Alice makes things worse? Everything bad happens. Del Loses her Land, Jacob is still lost somewhere . Kat is hurt Worse then she was and no Alice? Elliot figures out how the Pond works and jumps in and we go back to the 1st episode when Alice jumped? and he tells her she can't go back.. if she does no one will know her( which will prove Elliot is a Watcher).. he has to fix it. meeting Himself and young Alice . Colton and young Jacob would be Awesome season 3!
I love Kat and Elliot.. but I'm also very excited to see a romance between 1814 Kat and the naked pond-bathing artist who called her "My Katherine".... 🥰
This is likely my all time favorite TV show! I love Elliott & Kat together. I would love to know if Elliott ever time traveled via the pond...like to the future to see if he & Kat would ever have a future. I'd also love it if Elliott were actually Alice's dad. I was hoping that was what happened at Lingermore. I wish each season had more episodes. Can't get enough of it!
I loved season 1 more than 2. It’s more confusing and sometimes things don’t make sense in S2. Like when Dell says to young Cat that it should have been Jacob saving the farm, what’s wrong with that? She wishes her boy were still there to help. Cat gets so mad that she leaves for good over that? That made no sense to me and I felt like I missed something. Same on several different points, I keep feeling like I’m missing something. I hope S3 is better. I still love the show, just not as much. As at first.
I agree. I thought that was a very lackluster moment that was supposed to be huge. Overall I still like the season, but agree the first one was stronger. I think season two the first four episodes were great and then it gets a bit dragged out. But I will tell you I already watched the finale and it is insane. Definitely makes up for it all. I’m planning to do a review of this season where we can talk more about everything.
I love Elliot and Kat together, but up until now it has been hard to have patience with Elliot. The constant rules for traveling with his judgements and scolding made me frustrated with him. And, now with the backstory we find out how crappy his life was and why the loss was so significant for him too. But, I hope there's some emotional maturity in the future, even if he doesn't get back with Kat. Part of the problem is Elliot never being honest about a whole situation or how he feels pushing everyone away until he is too upset to keep it in. I kind of think Kat deserves to know why Elliot is the way he is. Elliot expects so much from Kat, but why can't she expect that he will finally let her all the way in. Not letting Kat know how bad Elliotts dad was is equivalent to believing that she will only react poorly and he will be wounded by that. I hope in the future they finally resolve that tension. The tension between what is and what they perceive is annoying.
Just watched this after episode 4 and I'm so invested not only in the plot, which they have done very well but also in the characters which is always so important. I'm loving the mysteries. Also I'm hoping they release all Alices songs because I'd love to have full version of them, especially the song from S2 episode 4 at the end. EDIT : Just found out that episode 4 song was a cover, but I'd still love to hear the full song from Sadie Laflamme Snow, she has beautiful voice.

I thought that Del has to know about the pond. I just don't see how she wouldn't know about the pond after all this time. There's just no way that she's not making the connection between Kat running off all the time I'm coming back wet the same thing for Alice. And can somebody explain to me why no one but Elliot recognizes Alice from the past. In this last episode Nick was starting to put some things together. It just doesn't seemed realistic that her mother and her grandmother recognized that's the same person as she got older

SPOILER!! the big secret- when kat found out she is pregnant, she freaked out. she didnt plan it. alice will be there ( back to the past) and will see the whole 'ho no im pregnant' thing, she will watch it without her mother knowledge, very much like the proposal. she will not want to be noticed, because she will be shocked and very upset.

The Way Home is the best Hallmark series. The story is unpredictable and the cast is terrific! Good news bout Season 3.

Right, so many things don’t make sense and you have to accept that because it’s still good. It’s disappointing though that there are so many holes.
I think this is one of the better series Hallmark has made. I am sorry it's only going to be two seasons.
