I think it was more so finding inner strength to fight out the curse. Connects to the mother saying on her deathbed 'what's inside you is stronger than any spell"
It was actually her ordering herself in the mirror. She didn't know what else to do and when she looked into the mirror she remembered all the suffering her curse had brought her, and like you said, summoned every bit of inner strength she had to look at her own reflection and say, "You will not obey." playing in the rules of the curse to break it. This movie made me fall in love with the song Somebody To Love. I would pretend I was Ella and sing along with her as a kid. The Elf was my favorite character.
You pointed out that the giants would have had to been broken down mentally in order to be enslaved…. And I think that parallels Ella… having the curse since she was such a young child that was her norm. She wouldn’t have through she could break it herself and seeks help from an outside source. When she finds Lucinda who refuses to help, Lucinda also revealed to her that she herself has to fix it, no one externally could do that for her.

Idk what made Billy upset about this movie(that's a lie), but if he's gonna be hating on the Hathaways, we're gonna have some words. Annie Hathaways is my sh*t
#bingers Matilda!!!! Watch it!!! WAATCHH IIITTT!!!
You’ll have to wait til the video premieres to find out 😂
@@BillyBinges Alright, it was mostly praises and I love to see it. But you were wrong for the baby chicken cutlets comment lol 😭
@@GH-Rav lmfao :D
I find it a bit weird that fairies doesn't have wings in this movie. Maybe they are invisible, that could explain why we never saw them :)
This movie is a good version of Cinderella if the heroine was cursed. I like it! Charming characters, pretty music, good special effects, romance, action, magic. It's a fun adventure with a good moral too! I consider it as a classic.
You need some merch with the phrase, “they kiss like two.…___” 😂 since you say that in every episode
#Bingers Freaky Friday, Cinderella Story, Just My Luck, Uptown Girls, and the Princess Diaries Series.
THE WAY YOU MADE FUN OF THE OLIVE’S LAUGH HAD ME CRYINGGGG I replayed it so many times🤣🤣
IKRRRRRR!!!!! 😂😅🤣
I'm from Brazil, I was prob 7 the first time I watched this, I'm 21 now and I still love this movie
I was about 9. I loved this book so much and was so sad when I saw the movie was very little like it. I’ve since gotten over it and like them both, just gotta keep a distance between them in my mind.
I have never understood villains like this guy and Scar. Why would you want to be King? Don't they just know it's only more responsibilities and stress? Also #bingers you should watch A Knights Tale.
Well it's not stressful when you don't actually care about the kingdom/subjects. Then it's just about enjoying being the most powerful person there
Another fun fact: the guy (Cary Elwis) playing the king/uncle is the same guy who played Westley in The Princess Bride.
I thought I recognized him!
Nearly cried, I've beeeeeen spamming all your videos for this movie😂
Much love 🇿🇦
Anne Hathaway is one of my favorite actresses 🤤🤣
she had to look at herself in the mirror to command herself to no longer be obedient. Not just saying it did it but looking at herself saying it is what did the trick!
I bet she was mad she didn't think of that years ago!
#bingers Rocketman , Grease , The Perks of being a wallflower
Yes, please! To all of those, but especially Rocketman
Perks of Being a Wall Flower is amazing!!!
I was 7 when i first watched this movie and i fell in love with prince char lol, and the music scenes were so good
I just realized that the actress who played the stepmother was one of the aunties from James and the Giant Peach. I am so shook right now honestly that it took me this long to figure out.
I never made that connection either. I used to love James and the Giant Peach almost as much as this movie
Honestly its cheesy but that's what I love about it haha I watched it a lot when I was going through a tough time so it became one of my comfort movies, I know the lines by heart.
Edit: Also #Bingers Edward Scissorhands, Crimson Peak and Sleepy Hollow you might've seen them already I'm not sure but I really love these movies haha
I had only seen some of this movie before. Not bad. Billy should watch Confessions of A Teenage Drama Queen. #bingers.
I am now realizing how terrifying it is in this day and age to have that curse.. oh dear god. Having to do ANYTHING UR TOLD. No no nooooo
Ever After is my favorite Cinderella Story. Hands down #bingers
I believe I about 9 years old when I first watched it It my favorite movie to watch before I went to bed
I'm pleased to see your reaction to this enjoyable film.
Sorry but I need to talk about how dreamy Hugh Dancy looks in this movie 💖✨
I'm just here bingeing Billy's videos.
I’ve been waiting for this one!
-LIZZO
Yes loved this one as a kid can’t wait for your laughs 😂 you always make me laugh too 😊😂
In cracking up at that message in the corner 😂😂😂 I've never seen this movie, but now I need to.
I feel like Billy really be throwing curve balls with the movies he picks 😂😂 Ella Enchanted?? It's a yes from me 👌🏾
PLEASE WATCH BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM (the girl who played ellas best friend is the main character in it)
Thank you all so much for recommending this movie to Billy. Even though I haven't seen the movie before. This is by far the best and funniest commentary that Billy did so far. I was killing myself laughing the whole video.
This movie made me fall in love with the song Somebody To Love. I would pretend I was Ella and sing along with her as a kid. The Elf was my favorite character.
shout out to all the mvps who suggested this movie!!! Yall are a real one xx
Perks of being a wallflower, my big fat Greek wedding, freaky Friday all fantastic films #bingers
It's also a very good middle grade book by an excellent author, Gail Carson Levine. (The POC get considerably larger roles in the book)
Glad u did both enchanted movies. Always enjoy ur reactions. Thanks Billy
Even though I was 5 when this came out, this is still one of my favorite childhood movies!
I did not expect Billy to enjoy this so much, it's so cheesy, but it is really fun!
Legit my favorite movie 🥺thanks so much Billy!
#Bingers “When Harry Met Sally.” Best romantic comedy
Idk if you realized but this movie is a version of Cinderella (Ella) and Prince Charming (Char)
When I watch videos I’m always noticing little texts at the bottom or corner of the screen so I quickly went back so I could pause and read it. Billy, you are too much lol wanting girls to slide into your DMs and shit😂
#bingers I’m gonna help people out and request The Parent Trap, another favorite of mine and Meet the Robinsons. That Disney movie doesn’t get enough credit! So underrated!
😂😂😂 let me live… thanks for watching ❤️
Watched this movie alot in my childhood, this and princess bride really cemented Anne Hathaway as an iconic figure for me (also helped me realize I like girls, I had the BIGGEST crush on her lol).
honestly i didn't care for this movie when it came out ( a teen) since i loved the book (not a modern twist) It is like an adaptation of Cinderella. BUT recently I can like the movie as a stand alone movie especially with this commentary lol Soundtrack was fire tho!!!
I'm supposed to be working on a drawing but instead I've been watching your videos all day. Also: I was in jr high when this movie came out and saw it at a friend's birthday party, but I loved the book when I was a kid. (The book itself is indirectly linked to me going to the ER once, but that's neither here nor there)
This movie is so underrated I like it a lot Anne Hathaway played the role so good the fact that she broke the curse and had the courage and strength to do it was good cuz she told herself I can’t do this no more also billy I was singing with u at the end dotn go breaking my heart also #bingers the princess diaries ps she’s in that to
It came out 2004 I was an 2005 baby, and my mom loves fantasy movies, so I watched this movie for the first time since before I can remember, it was my first dvd. So some value and the movie honestly good as hell
