For someone who has been gaming for like ever I'm growing bored of the traditional game perimeters of just the TV. I don't get to game much nowadays but have been looking into VR and the Steam VR setup for years now and am super interested. Do you have any videos for tips on getting setup to use the whole Steam VR kit? Is it really worth it to invest in VR? Might be a good couple years before I can get everything cause costs but would it be worth it?
I've always been interested in developing games in general but have never really thought about how an Art Degree could be a good start. I was reading through your channel and am instantly intrigued I'm subscribed now. I have like a whole playlist of videos saved on computer parts and stuff I'm waiting to see how dome things go. But equally honestly I'm a avid player as I am and have been for a while now growing interest in all the inner workings of how the pieces fit together in terms of actually making like even just a demos amount of an experience. Like the most recent Aperture Desk Job been watching some stuff on that and I can confidently feel like Valve and them really got it when it comes to VR.
@@QuinnKuslich Any suggestions are appreciated I know I'm probably behind the times a bit since I last looked into things as intensely as I was. The pandemic happened and my life went tits up like many of ours did so like 3 years at this point since I've even been reading up on the latest news
@@averagejackssimshack241 valve is the top dog for sure. If ur interested in development, I’d check out Udemy, they have loads of Unreal tutorials, so does RUclips. I have a few out currently and a few more coming soon.
That’s great! I really need to take the time to beat the game. I barely have time to just play games anymore… your comment genuinely made me laugh, Valve Humor is the best!
Man for game development i really recommend it, im a VR Game Dev myself so i love watching other devs takes on VR games but man do you learn so much from playing VR games, that experience just playing the games truly translates into work later on ESPECIALLY in the polishing phase of your VR game
Absolutely! De is actually concept artist and a super talented digital sculptor and always helps me out when I need Zbrush assistance. I'm thinking Oculus Medium, Tilt Brush, Quill, Adobe Medium, Sculpt VR, and maybe Gravity Sketch. I think we would do all of those in one video.
If you have any ideas for what VR games or experiences I should have her play, please let me know!
Virtual Virtual Reality is purposefully confusing, but I loved the story of it.
@Carvell We will take a look at it, that one has been on my list for years.
gorn (a gladiator game), blood trail (very gory, realistic) pavlol vr (counter strike vr basically), beat saber (like guitar hero), warthunder with first person in vr
vertigo remastered
The touching moment when your GF reminds you that "nobody cares" about what you have to say - always warms the heart.
Nah we good, it’s scripted
VR chad flexes girlfriend and shows off the magnificent masterpiece that is HLA.
seriously, the bar has been set for VR games.
You got Chad energy from me, how?!
Really well made video. Would love to see more of this. Awesome editing and construction
HEY! Thanks Reese, I'm going to consider that a huge compliment coming from a film major.
