    The 3 different reactions to the end where Danny drives away is hilarious! Directors immediate burst into laughter, Lee shaking his head in disgust while Adorkable is just pissed off and has had enough. 😂 😂 😂

    The problem with the idea of Danny trying to blame Amy is that Danny doesn’t know where she was and she might have an airtight alibi for her whereabouts.

    now i can finally talk smack! Man when i saw this episode I was mad asf cause he literally is bothering Amy while she's dealing with her failed marriage. It all started again when he decided to use amy as a scapegoat because Paul was questioning the business. Paul went over there because Paul has always been the type to talk back, defend himself and be petty and Danny knows his brother. To me, he knew there was a possibility for paul to retaliate but just didnt care which is further proven in this episode when he's just deciding to frame amy instead of just taking the L and finding another illegal business or something. Physically assaulting George because he got caught too. I was rooting for his downfall since this episode because he started it and Amy doesnt even know.

      Exactly! Danny’s been manipulating and gaslighting Paul his whole life. On top of that, making reckless decisions- like getting ready to light a car ablaze, not realizing that a *whole kid* was inside it 😂 His poor decision making lost him $20,000 and caused his house to catch fire. He is the king of lack of accountability. 👑

      well he let danny in so the cops could get him, he did the smart thing, he knew he could get the gun and pin him down, he just cant fight. and the thing with the car is not his fault, it was danny and amys fault

    • @yesitislikethat
      @yesitislikethat Год назад +4

      @@hakone1841 That wasn’t smart, in the least. As you noted, George had already called the police. Why would he need to open the door, especially since he believes that Danny is dangerous?
      George is directly responsible for endangering himself and Junie, by allowing Danny access to the interior of their home. As a result of Georges’s actions, his child was inadvertently abducted by Danny- a man who he felt was problematic enough to call law enforcement on.
      My original comment highlights George’s contradictory action of creating a scenario which placed himself and his child in harm’s way, while simultaneously being abhorred by the very idea of that.

    • @alaurent2679
      @alaurent2679 Год назад +2

      IDK, anything that could seem like Paul being selfish doesn't to me because he has his own life to live ya know? Danny is just very ignorant, negative, and needs to control things despite having a VERY bad business head... trusting their shady cousin multiple times, the handyman business, Paul's crypto, Amy, ragging on Paul's life choices (as if he isn't why Paul isn't off at a good college), not to mention the stuff Paul doesn't know about LIKE the college thing and burning down their parents' house. That's the type of person you resent because they drag you down. I think Paul just knows his brother's success rate and wanted out. But he was supportive about their parents' house and guilty when he thought he was the reason it failed, supportive of Danny just living a little (club scene) and hating Amy for messing with Danny, he made a plan for the Cho Bros including Danny despite him fumbling, apologized and played nice with their cousin when he took over the business despite having every right to not like or trust the guy... like Paul's proven to take accountability and be a team player that cares. I just think anyone would get tired as hell in that life with that brother and would smartly want keep their success to themselves more. Nothing shows he extends those negative feelings toward their parents too though... I don't think lol.

    • @WileChile51
      @WileChile51 Год назад +1

      @@alaurent2679 Agreed. He's never been allowed to live his own life, then he learns that his own brother took away his future... I'd be livid.

      @bereasonable8018 Год назад +2

      @@alaurent2679 you make very good points but I still remember the scene when he was applying to colleges. Danny was on a ladder doing work at the motel and needed light bulbs. He asked Paul to get them for him from the office but Paul couldn’t be bothered to do it. As far as I can tell up until that scene he was filling out applications and not busy with another task so why couldn’t or wouldn’t he get them for Danny when he was headed to the office anyway to drop the mail into the outbox? That’s selfish. From what I can tell he stayed that way.

    I just don't buy Paul as being all that smart. A lot of people seem to want to see him that way, because he IS likeable. He's only 3 years younger than Danny, and hasn't done shit with his life so far.
    Yes Danny fucked him over, especially the college apps, but really Paul is like 30 years old living rent free, playing video games all day. He deserves at least SOME blame for his own life. His plan is to 10x over and over until he's a millionaire...ya brilliant, why didn't I think of that? When Amy called him out on how it isn't that easy, he just lashes out and calls her a bitch. 1st episode he's bragging about dropping 2,000 on a chain, but can't afford lose his rent free status.

    • @YaBoyRockLee
      @YaBoyRockLee  Год назад +2

      Paul is considered that Smart when in the same room as Danny. Lol. Thats about it. Of course he gets SOME blame.
      But you see when he tried things on his own Danny sabotaged it…like college, and his account.
      The story is written in a way where I wouldn’t be surprised if that was something that happened often. Danny low key sabotaging or talking down Pauls ideas or plans.
      When i see you tried to go to college and do things on your own and your secretly being sabotaged by your older brother like this. I just don’t issue much blame from an emotional point. Paul has done few thing’s frustrating especially compared to Danny the older brother.
      Danny even snuck a picture out of pauls phone to jerk of to Pauls love interest lol behind his back after hating on the relationship.
      Paul having anything on his own is seemingly difficult with Danny in the area.

    • @insomnia5050
      @insomnia5050 Год назад

      @@YaBoyRockLee I didn't try to make the argument that Danny is somehow better than Paul. Danny is a POS and bears a lot of the responsibility for the shitty things he's done to Paul. If you really meant it as he's smart RELATIVE to Danny then ok, but that's now how you conveyed it.
      Too many people framing it as Paul would've easily 10X to billionaire status w/o Danny. I heard one reactor call him a crypto genius, like what? Paul is well meaning and likeable, but my original and ONLY point still stands, he's not that bright.

  • @randy7796
    @randy7796 Год назад +1

    At first, I thought Adorkable didn't realize that the cops had shown up to Amy's crib right after Danny left with June, but I didn't even think about the option of simply letting her out the truck a few houses down the street. But Lee is right, it's defs one of those Joe Goldberg situations where you root for the objectively bad action because you understand this character is in a tough situation trying to leverage their livelihood against getting caught and put in prison while trying not to hurt anyone in the process, even though you know someone will most likely get hurt because those types of things just continue to happen because of karma. It's what happens when people get too greedy and don't know when to take their losses. It also goes back to that speech that Amy did in Vegas, where she said "you can have it all", but you see how that mentality negatively affects her given how much she already had but still decided to sacrifice the well being of her family for more, and ofc how it negatively affects Danny for a multitude of obvious reasons. Even Paul suffers from that same mentality given that a consequence of it is not knowing how to efficiently move on after taking an L; Danny screwed Paul by seemingly preventing him from going to college, but you can't get so down and out to the point where your only actions afterwards are playing video games, partying, and drowning what little resources you have in cryptocurrency. This show is just full of characters that are on the grind for wealth and success, which is easy to relate to and sympathize with, especially when they're coming from the bottom still trying to reach the top or at least the middle (I don't like Amy for that reason), but either grind too hard or grind the wrong way.
