    Propylene glycol is in can food it’s a preservatives. It’s also an anti-freeze and the same thing in beer and liquor, it’s in soap deodorant toothpaste cereal, it is an element of nylon. I am highly allergic to properly glycol. This guy only barely breaks the ice about propyleneglycol.

    I have gone through nightmare of using pg in mouthwash and mouth spray. I was feeling extremely tired, fuzzy headed, itchy, depressed and anxious. I thought it was eggs, coffee, dairy, gluten, coconut etc. but after excluding everything I could and still feeling rough- once I stopped pg containing products, I started to feel better.

      The FDA defines a natural flavor as a substance extracted, distilled or similarly derived from plant or animal matter, either as is or after it has been roasted, heated or fermented, and whose function is for flavor, not nutrition. Foods that should be vegetarian can include flavors that are derived from animals, and foods can have flavors that outwardly have nothing to do with the food involved. An example of these incongruities is wine that includes traces of eggs or fish.

      If it's savory it's MSG and if it's sweet it's castoreum, or for the layperson- beaver squeezings. They extract it from a beaver's anal glands. It's used to "hold" and stabilize the flavor, like ambergris (whale mucus) or civet (big wildcat's marking squirts) is used for perfume. So it's really very natural.

    Propylene glycol, is natural. It is formed when fatty acids are freed from the fat triglycerides. You can make it from animal or vegetable sources, same chemical. Ethylene glycol is used in antifreeze in cars and is quite toxic and somewhat sweet tasting, was added to some wines illegally back in the day to sweeten them. Propylene glycol is easily metabolized in your body when it is ingested. You will make it when you eat fats. Nobody has proven it’s safe to inhale however. Think of breathing water versus drinking water. There are many other additives in vape that have not been proven safe to inhale, including artificial butter flavour that crippled popcorn factory workers when it caused COPD or popcorn lung when inhaled in large amounts. Many of the sweet flavours include a butter component. Do you want to find the safe dosage? Proplylene glycol or glycerine or glycerol are used in baking because it is a fat like molecule that also dissolved in water and does not evaporate easily. It adds and retains moisture in many goods and can be used to help fats and waters to mix. I believe you body generally recycles it rather than metabolizes it since any fat or triglyceride your body makes uses this compound as its backbone. Still don’t want to vaporize it and coat my lungs.

    1. It is accumulative. Getting worse all the time for me, used to be able to take Benadryl but can't anymore. 2. It's hard to avoid because the American Government doesn't require the manufactures to list it as an ingredient. As an example, I can't use morphine. You wouldn't think that it has glycol, but morphine arrives as a dry ingredient and they mix it with Glycol to turn it into a liquid form. Most doctor's wouldn't be able to tell you that.

    It's been used for years by dairy farmers to lubricate cow udders. Farm supply stores carry large jugs of it. Vapers could make their own gallon jug of juice cheap if they used common grocery store flavor extracts such as cinnamon, vanilla, etc.. Not meaning to give people ideas but if they are going to do it anyway, might as well not spend a fortune. I personally don't vape.

    • @alkeryn1700
      @alkeryn1700 2 года назад

      you wouldn't want to use common grocery store flavor without searching it first, that recomendation can be dangerous as they aren't meant to be inhaled and could potentially be deadly that way.
      the lungs cannot get rid of every products there is and some can clog them.

    • @gyrospinup
      @gyrospinup 2 года назад +2

      @@alkeryn1700Any idea what the Chinese put in it for flavoring? I bet you that it's not FDA approved. Their dog and cat food kills thousands of pets each year. The PG and VG would probably cause more of a problem than a tad bit of natural flavoring if it was going to happen, due to thickness and ratio. Neither were vaped prior to e cigs. Adding nicotine would be the part to be concerned with since it is poison in a high concentrate.

    Items I am sensitive to: Morphine gives me the feelings of having worms under the skin (mostly on my head but can happen anywhere on my body, any oily makeup will make my throat want to close, perfumes give me migraines, Mountain Dew gives me migraines, non-organic hot tea keeps me awake at night, sports drinks give me migraines, any specialty drinks do the same. Regular Benadryl gives me hives (must be common, they have stopped selling it in some stores), poison ivy lotion gives me hives. Iced tea in a PET bottle gives me almost immediate urinary tract infection. Penicillin gives me hives, cherry flavored numbing agents for my gums gives me migraines. The mold release spray they use at my place of employment gives me signs of neuropathy and burns my skin when I come into contact with it. Regular cigarettes give me pressure headaches but not all the time (I roll my own now). I also get RLS at night, so I take something to help me sleep and when I get hives unless I take something to stop the progression it turns into Angioedema which will hospitalize me. What do all these items have in common? They all contain a form of glycol. The world needs to wake up before I can no longer live in it.

    Thank you for being balanced.
    Straightforward: In general, propylene glycol is inert, but some people are sensitive to it.
    A lot of antifreeze is actually *ethylene* glycol based, and *ethylene* glycol is extremely toxic and causes acute organ failure and death; you can get propylene glycol based antifreeze that is less toxic (the toxic bit is the additives, but they are more trace), and will be less dangerous to handle especially if you have curious children or animals around. AMSOil up in Wisconsin makes a good performing propylene glycol based coolant antifreeze that is technically biodegradable (though you should still dispose of it properly if possible).

    I am also taking medication( Movicol sachets) for chronic constipation/IBS-C issues for a long time on daily basis but now I am getting hair thinning/hair loss and iching issues,and I am in doubt that it is due to polyethylene glycol 3350 which is included in that medicine as 13g in one sachet.And I am using it's 2 sachets daily so almost 26 g daily.please guide me regarding that as I am so much worried I am also taking medication for chronic constipation/IBS-C issues for a long time on daily basis but I am getting hair thinning/hair loss and iching issues,and I am in doubt that it is due to polyethylene glycol 3350 which is included in that medicine as 13g in one sachet.And I am using it's 2 sachets daily so almost 26 g daily. There are several companies that offer organic Vapes with VG only no PG. Propylene glycol has been found to cause infertility in women and acne. Polyethylene glycol otherwise known as peg would be a great show to do on how it contains self-replicating nanofibers this should not be injected.

    Researchers in the UK claim that vaping is quite safe (at least 95% safer than smoking). I managed to quit smoking by vaping - without any nicotine. Do you have any new research regarding vaping (and PG)? I dont disagree with you, I`m just very curious since many seem to find PG (and VG) quite safe.

    • @WorldxOfxHardstyle
      @WorldxOfxHardstyle 6 лет назад

      Highest75 PG is safe enough.. they use it in all kinds of things so it's definitely not dangerous. On the other hand we can't say it has any benefits though. Some people are allergic to it for some reason but that's nature. In comparison to smoking it's super healthy lol

    How can I make my monk fruit erythritol sugar free milk ice cream not freez to a brick then??? I would gladly use something else???? We have been fed it most our life’s but I’m open to alternatives. Scoopable when frozen keto ice cream can help so many people stay on keto… who wants to boil custard every time they want ice cream. And clean and freez a fake ice cream machine with a real ice cream machine it freezes to a block half way through churning…. You don’t get a Michelin tire with a rock
