As a nurse I studied anatomy and physiology. I figured out these things for myself and have been doing facial exercises for years. I can back up his claims that this works. At 62 now, I have very little drop in jowls, and only because I got lazy, and my neck is not droopy at all. For me it's not about looking young, it is about being fit and living healthy and pain free. Use it or lose it is a very true statement.
Definitely does work. I stretch my neck whenever I go to the gym as a part of my whole body routine. I notice neck and shoulder exercises keep my jawline tight. It’s almost instant especially after doing cardio & resistance with weights.
Thanks for your comment. Coming from someone for whom all this has actually worked over a long period of time, and a health care professional too, gives this the credibility I need to actually do these exercises
So I have started doing this for 3 days and my loose skin under my chin has tightened by 50%…!! No exaggeration… I am amazed and will keep doing these twice daily. Thank you!! ❤
The women in my family have a hereditary tendency even when we are super skinny to store a pocket of fat under our chin that begins in our early 20s. I was the first who decided there must be an exercise to het rid of it, so I began lifting my head, tightening the neck muscles, then pulling my jaw up in a tight slow manner as if scraping chocolate off a large brick. Within a month the double chin was gone, and doibg this once per week has kept the double chin and turkey neck away ever since and I am 60 now.

Ive been doing these daily since you posted this a month ago and I see change. Definitely a reduction happening! I look forward to a more defined chin. I always thought I was stuck with it unless I got surgery. Thankyou
I just started and definitely felt why this works. I have been for years making up my own chin exercise, I knew but I didn't know, just diy stuff. I would look in the mirror up at the ceiling and say the word WOW 50 times. So I would make lip lines lol. Worked but not like I know this will. THANK YOU!!

I have been doing these twice daily (or more) for 5 days and I can see changes already! It’s really quite amazing. I can’t wait to see the final product in 3 more weeks!
I just started doing these exercises today and can really feel the different muscles that I never think of. Amazing. It's true "Use it or lose it" I'll keep doing these in addition to nutrition and exercise. Excellent advice.
Great video, Dr. Berg. I am 72 years old and I work out 3 to 4 times a week. So I’m going to add these exercises to my routine. I don’t have a saggy chin now, but I don’t want to develop one either.
Any time I gain weight I get a horrible double chin which just makes me feel even worse. Legit! I did this like maybe twice and people have already been asking me if I lost weight! This has been the most helpful video I’ve ever seen on RUclips. Quick exercises and explanation and it actually works!🎉❤Thank you so much!!
Very good exercises..i have been doing # 2 for almost a year and barely have double chin. Im 68 and feel good about my chin now. Ill definitely incorporate the other exercises. Thank you for sharing😊
I've done some of these, but one has to be consistent! Am 76 and don't have too many wrinkles , mostly genetic since my late grandmother hardly had any at age 86 when she passed away. Staying out of the noon day sun helps, moisturizing since I was in my 20s, not smoking or drinking alcohol too much and a clean diet! Smoking is the worst and ages one faster than anything! Thanks for the tips, god forbid we look like a turkey or we might get served up for Thanksgiving! lol Keep your sense of humor, you'll need it as you age, keeps you young at heart! 💗💗💗🦃🦃🦃🦃
Dear Dr Berg you had said if we stop eating sugar our chalazion would go away on its own- I followed your agvice and finally it went away - it took 3 and a half years for me( i had gone to an eye dr and he wanted to operate me I preferred to follow your advice and im free from chalazion on my eye All thanks to your advice / recommendation We are lucky to have dr Berg in our life.
I will be trying this. I’ve had this problem since I was in my 20’s (now in my 50’s) my mother had it and so did my grandma, I have always been so self conscious about it and now it’s even worse with my age. I hope it works. Thank you
Oh gosh! I hope this truly works Doc as I've been so self conscious of my turkey neck all my life to the point of considering laser or surgery or something to get a 'straight chin'/neck. People have teased me too. Here goes!🇦🇺🙏🙏🙏
Here's another way, I learn ASL (american sign language). I started when I was a teen, I had to learn facial expression movement for years, I noticed my face tightened my whole face, especially my jawline, and I never had any double chin. This is a real job, almost like exercise with facial expressions. A lot of interpreters say they don't need any plastic surgery. The neck exercise works because too many people don't show facial movement to communicate, they have wall face without moving around the facials. Facial & neck exercise is the real key to staying young.
So easy! Intuitively, I've been doing the mouth-gaping move several times a day during my breaks at work and I've noticed it brightens my face somehow. But these moves should really help and are not hard at all. Thank you Dr. Berg. I'm female 65
Definitely going to try this. I was thinking that surgery was the only answer, but that's out of the question for me. Looking forward to posting my results. Thanks so much for this.
I have been doing these for 3 days now. Mostly the exercise over the bed, and i can see it has tightened my underface area already. 😮 I had doublechin lipo a few months ago, and this is going to help maintain my beautiful result. ❤ Thank you, Doctor. ❤❤❤
I’m 63 and I have good “aging” genes. But I’ve had serious issues w/turkey neck (maybe partially due to severe weight fluctuations) for years now! I’m starting these today and staying on them! I’m going to take my “before” pics right now!

Thabks you I’m so pleased you released this Turkey Neck video I’ll practise it every day. I also need to strengthen My leg muscles because I’m 79 and even I fall I can’t get myself up because my legs have no strength in them. I’ve subscribed to you today this is such wonderful information. I want to look and feel stronger before I turn 80 on 31/8/25. 😊
Thank you sir, you have given me more information in a couple of months than school has given me in years. I am truly grateful for you and your efforts.
This exercise works wonders for me. Now i have a jawline n less droopy chin n neck. Thank you Doctor for this wonderful tips. Just doing since past 1 week gave me improvement so fast. Anyone can do it.
Also turning your head to the side while during these. Years ago I've concluded that men always have a more toned face and look younger because the contortions while shaving. So those are the type of face and neck exercises I do, which includes some of these
Been waiting all my life for this! Thanks so much. It seems to me some peoples are more prone to double chins than others. I live in Europe and wonder if one's language doesn't play a role. For example, The Dutch almost all seem to have a double chin (a Dutch dialect is the closest language to English). But the French and Italians show this trait far, far less often. French, especially, is apparently the most challenging language muscle-wise, requiring 'gymnastics' rarely needed to speak other languages (our mother-tongue gets physically hard-wired into us by age 6). All that led me to wonder if it didn't produce these tight, perfect chins way into old age. (Of course, their good diets surely help, also.)
Bro. 2 days in, I only have double chin when I turn my head down. I looked in the mirror and noticed that from having a slight double chin to nothing at all. Thanks Doc! And Thank you God for showing this! Context: I'm overweight. Edit: Take note that I am trying to implement daily IF sessions while doing this. I know what I am doing. I'm just saying that this method is effective even for me. Edit: It takes time, thank you captain obvious!
Jack La Lain showed us this in the 60s.. I remember my mom watching his exercise show. Great reminder , Dr.Berg. Thank you for this. So Simple! Oh man... it feels so good too. 👍
Dr berg I cannot express my happiness properly. Typing the comment with jaw pain and almost no double chin. I am grateful to you. I am doing this exercise for 2 days for about 10 times each exercise. My double chin is really gone though my jaw n front lower part is hurting a bit. but it’s getting in shape. No exaggeration. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I am glad i gave it a try your magical exercise. ❤️ Um using Castor oil on skin. Feeling like um getting my desired face and skin. Alhamdulillah 😘❤️

My uncle age 70 told our family about #2 exercise. We Could Not Stop Laughing how his face looked and he was so serious demonstrating it for awhile. So, it really works he had no double-turkey neck. So i Know that exercise works-guaranteed.
Thank you Dr.Berg! This is an annoying problem that i have since loosing 45 lbs. I tried these excersizes this morning and i can really feel it in my neck! I will do these for a month and check back.
I would love to see more exercise videos like this one! I keep seeing ads for chair exercises but you have to pay to find out what they are for, or how to do them
Funny enough, basic weight lifting naturally creates those same movements. Plus older people should still be weight training to keep muscle and bone density. It's a win-win. . . .
Sure does.I stretch my neck as apart of my total body stretching anytime I go to the gym (3x a week). Been doing it since high school. When I don’t do it my jawline softens. When I do I sharpens up!
Finally, some neck and chin exercises that look like they might really work. I actually felt some kind of psychological relief when I was watching the last one. My neck is so weak and broken down, from bone loss that I think that exercise is going to make a huge difference for me. Thank you very much, Dr. Berg.
I am from Kashmir I regularly watching your video's sir, it has really made a difference in my overall health. Thankyou sir for this contribution to humanity.❤
Dr. Berg: more videos on facial excercises please. I've been researching them lately to come up with a regimen. The ones in this video were good. I tried 3 sets of 12 reps each (20 -30 reps might be even better) and felt that difference you feel from exercising other muscles & body parts. 👍The muscles don't stop at the shoulders! 👍
Incredible! Thank you, Dr. Berg. I really needed this video. I have this loose skin at 72. My entire family has it. I read a comment that someone had a similar issue, but she fixed it. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Great exercises for neck and throat. I do 2 of those but not consistently which is key. Do exercises for lymphatic drainage…again, consistency vital. Thanks for sharing Dr. Berg!
After my first day of doing this my lower neck was sore. I have never felt like this in that area before. It’s absolutely true that this part of my body I have never worked before.
😮 *I just followed along with the video and my GOODNESS… After completing the exercises, I’m experiencing muscles feeling tired that I’ve never experienced before in my life! Never knew it was possible! 😅 Definitely going to keep up with this.*
I am a perfect test subject for these exercises. I have tried others that didn't seem to do much, but these are different. I'll let you know. I will say that for someone like me this can take months, so don't give up after a couple of weeks.
I found out many years ago when my mom started to have trouble swallowing that a simple exercise while in bed without a pillow helps those muscles. Lay flat and simply raise and lower your head several times. This video is a good reminder for that issue also. When I go to get my hair done and they have your head hanging in the sink, I always use my neck muscles to raise my head up just a little while they wash and rinse hair. Granted it's not every day but it still counts. I'm saving this video to replay so I remember to keep it up.
I've been doing the neck exercise on my bed all my life. I learned the importance of neck exercises while competing on my weightlifting team in college. Hence, my neck always looks toned.
The last exercise work guaranteed. I use to do that exercise on the total gym while doing crutches. My goal was to slim my tummy but instead I slimed my neck. 😊
I love that I don't waste my time to wait while he is finished talking to get to the next movement, but that I can complete all 10 movements and get right to the next exercise while he is talking.
I was sitting with my husband in the nature today, admiring how nature is beautiful…I asked him: What is the wisdom that as we age we sag, develope wrinkles and look different. why don’t we stay a kind of the same when we age and die?Thank you Dr.Berg for teaching us not only how we maintain our health, but also how to work on our look, at least we slow down the appearance of aging! Thank you.
Thank you so much Dr Berg - I literally did the exercises as the video was playing, and I will continue to go back to this video such a simple thing, but I could feel the difference❤
This is absolutely true! I figured this out on my own just trying to get relief from soar neck muscles. Ive been doing #3 for a year now and have noticed a big difference. Thanks Dr. Berg for always sharing the good stuff!
hi, i've done the first two exercises on my own for several years now, 30reps in bed about 5 days a week in the morning. i pretty much knew some yoga, and then came up with these on my own using basic understanding of the areas i wanted to hit. i experimented and can say as a matter of fact these have worked to help those areas, otherwise i would not still be doing them. your third exercise looks great and is one i had not come up with. trying it with your video i could feel it working those areas quite a bit, even tho it's very simple and not strenuous. the last exercise is more a muscular exercise and one i also figured out on my own, tho actually it's a pretty standard one to build up the neck. i don't hang my head backward over the bed, but rather double up my pillow and stuff it under my midback, which gives me the space to get the same kind of range backwards, so i have a full range of motion. i've worked up to 40 reps from full back to full forward and can say this is enough to wear my neck muscle out even tho i use no added weight. this expands the neck muscles somewhat and has helped fill out my neck a bit, which eats up any space behind any sagging skin. my point with all this is to say i do all your exercises except no.3 and can say that over time they have not only worked, but have been the only non-surgical way i can see to get an effect in this area. further, your third exercise looks and feels excellent as well, and i will add that to the mix. thanks!
These exercises felt great, although a lot of clicking going on with my jaw.I've always tried to do exercises for my neck, but these seem more effective.I sat watching my screen and followed the exercises, I found the womans gestures on exercise 2, quite funny ,as she looked as though she had been caught short somewhere (I know, childish). Thanks for another great video, enjoyable and informative.😁
I did similar exercises to these using BodyFlex and it works amazingly. Recently I have some throat and larynx issues so I have not been able to do the deep breathing required for BidyFlex. I am so excited to find this channel and these exercises! Thank you!

Started these last week. My neck was so weak. I am not one to usually keep up with these kind of exercises but it really seems to be helping the stability of my neck. Thank you Dr Berg
Ive been doing these daily since you posted this a month ago and I see change. Definitely a reduction happening! I look forward to a more defined chin. I always thought I was stuck with it unless I got surgery. Thankyou
Awesome. Thanks for trying them out. Take care.
I just started and definitely felt why this works. I have been for years making up my own chin exercise, I knew but I didn't know, just diy stuff. I would look in the mirror up at the ceiling and say the word WOW 50 times. So I would make lip lines lol.
Worked but not like I know this will. THANK YOU!!

Yes he is. I ❤️ his videos. I find myself taking 📝 notes. 👍
In my experience DO’s are without a doubt some of the best doctors out there!!
Dr Eric, how do you mean that these excersizes should not been done in public?. They're PERFECT for the public!
Wise.
You said, “You wouldn’t want to do exercise #2 in public.” I wouldn’t want to do any of these exercises in public. 😂😮

Legit! I did this like maybe twice and people have already been asking me if I lost weight! This has been the most helpful video I’ve ever seen on RUclips. Quick exercises and explanation and it actually works!🎉❤Thank you so much!!
Glad this helped you. Happy Sunday!
Dear Dr Berg you had said if we stop eating sugar our chalazion would go away on its own- I followed your agvice and finally it went away - it took 3 and a half years for me( i had gone to an eye dr and he wanted to operate me
I preferred to follow your advice and im free from chalazion on my eye
All thanks to your advice / recommendation
We are lucky to have dr Berg in our life.
I will be trying this. I’ve had this problem since I was in my 20’s (now in my 50’s) my mother had it and so did my grandma, I have always been so self conscious about it and now it’s even worse with my age. I hope it works. Thank you
How did it go?
Oh gosh! I hope this truly works Doc as I've been so self conscious of my turkey neck all my life to the point of considering laser or surgery or something to get a 'straight chin'/neck. People have teased me too. Here goes!🇦🇺🙏🙏🙏
I use neck tape, but if this works, I’d rather have it be permanent.
Did it work ?
@@cuppocakeee188 no. Wasn't expecting it too tbh!😩
Love you Dr. Eric cannot thank you enough for your time and energy sharing and teaching us with your videos. Don’t stop!

Thanks for the insight
Which facial expressions, because most sign language is done with the hands?
Thank you ! I'm hopeful this will help. Have a great day everybody😊
So easy! Intuitively, I've been doing the mouth-gaping move several times a day during my breaks at work and I've noticed it brightens my face somehow. But these moves should really help and are not hard at all. Thank you Dr. Berg. I'm female 65
Thanks Dr Berg ..I have done the exercises for just 3 day it is already working…

I would love to see more exercise videos like this one! I keep seeing ads for chair exercises but you have to pay to find out what they are for, or how to do them
Not from Bob a Brad. Lots of chair exercises, no pay!
Hi there. Thanks for the video suggestion.
If you're a senior on Medicare silver sneakers have chair exercises online. Lots of fun!!!
Funny enough, basic weight lifting naturally creates those same movements. Plus older people should still be weight training to keep muscle and bone density. It's a win-win. . . .
Interesting!
Sure does.I stretch my neck as apart of my total body stretching anytime I go to the gym (3x a week). Been doing it since high school. When I don’t do it my jawline softens. When I do I sharpens up!
Agreed! Also, situps on an incline bench can have the same effect!
Finally, some neck and chin exercises that look like they might really work. I actually felt some kind of psychological relief when I was watching the last one. My neck is so weak and broken down, from bone loss that I think that exercise is going to make a huge difference for me. Thank you very much, Dr. Berg.
These exercises are amazing! I saw an improvement after the first session

Dr. Berg: more videos on facial excercises please. I've been researching them lately to come up with a regimen. The ones in this video were good. As a wind instrumentalist, I've been doing these since I was 10. Learn a wind instrument and have some fun!

Very welcome, so glad it helped! Keep it up!
This is absolutely true! I figured this out on my own just trying to get relief from soar neck muscles. Ive been doing #3 for a year now and have noticed a big difference. Thanks Dr. Berg for always sharing the good stuff!
These types of exercises work. I've been doing my own version of these for years. I'm 55 and still have the neck and jawline I had at 35.
hi, i've done the first two exercises on my own for several years now, 30reps in bed about 5 days a week in the morning. i pretty much knew some yoga, and then came up with these on my own using basic understanding of the areas i wanted to hit. i experimented and can say as a matter of fact these have worked to help those areas, otherwise i would not still be doing them. your third exercise looks great and is one i had not come up with. trying it with your video i could feel it working those areas quite a bit, even tho it's very simple and not strenuous. the last exercise is more a muscular exercise and one i also figured out on my own, tho actually it's a pretty standard one to build up the neck. i don't hang my head backward over the bed, but rather double up my pillow and stuff it under my midback, which gives me the space to get the same kind of range backwards, so i have a full range of motion. i've worked up to 40 reps from full back to full forward and can say this is enough to wear my neck muscle out even tho i use no added weight. this expands the neck muscles somewhat and has helped fill out my neck a bit, which eats up any space behind any sagging skin. my point with all this is to say i do all your exercises except no.3 and can say that over time they have not only worked, but have been the only non-surgical way i can see to get an effect in this area. further, your third exercise looks and feels excellent as well, and i will add that to the mix. thanks!
Wonderful. Glad these exercises helped you. Thanks for sharing your experience here. Stay safe!
