Hello Rasa. I tried your meditation because you specifically mention PTSD relief. I have wondered a lot about the best ways to meditate and relax in order to heal that. Most often nowadays I do meditations where I visualise healings and energies, kind of like shamanic journeying or active dreaming, where transformations take place. Thing is when I do deep relaxations like this one, a traumatic memory tends to surface when I am the most relaxed and I jerk up with heart racing and my body feels jolted with fear and tension. Of course then I just continue breathing and relaxing into those sensations and I slowly recover. But I still wonder, is this a good thing, is this a good way of healing my traumas, was this a healing experience? Or is it more like a retraumatization experience and I am better off doing different kinds of meditations. Do you have an opinion?
I was truly hoping this would address PTSD & am disappointed. Yoga Nidra is relaxing for most people, but for those Seeking Relief from ptsd this is misleading.
Ok. I just stalked your fb profile and it looks like the yoga is working just fine 😂😀 one other thing, do you have any tips for teas? I personnaly like chai tea for relaxation. Lovely smelling and tasting.

I like buying various herbs from the farmers market and making my own blends, but I like many and there's too many choose from to recommend! 🙈 Chai tea is pretty yummy, I plan on having some tomorrow. Right now I am traveling and brought with me this blend - matcha, rooibos, kombucha & parsley, it has a hint of vanilla and tastes amazing in the morning! Do you have any other faves?
