On today’s episode of Isobel’s Inventory Interventions, we meet two pro gaymers who can’t get enough of being encumbered. Can our cleric save a locked in bloodthirsty durge and a flirtatious flex offender from their own character sheets full of crap? Or will the combined assault of compliments and rizz be too much for the stressed Selûnite to handle? Stay tuned Shatters to find out.
I'm only 10 seconds in and paused to say this: there's only so much rizz a Selûnite can handle, even an undead half-goth one who's more than 100 years old and has an immortal girlfriend. So nah, she won't resist 'till the end
Today's episode appeased a great many followers of any god of order, organization, or obsessive compulsive tendencies related around neat and tidy inventories.

Mia makes so many good points about drama school, and how it seems like a ridiculous choice to some. And the possibilities after... put it this way, I graduated and moved down to London. A year or so later I was trawling employment agencies for work, and handed my details over to someone at a front desk. A moment later, out rushes a guy who was on the course with me at drama school. He was working in the job agency. Aside from being a hell of a coincidence, it goes to show how hard it is to get acting work right out of drama school. There are veritable hordes of newly graduated actors, all fighting for very few parts. We take whatever job we can get while waiting for the next audition to work out. But it's worth it. No job in the world like theatre acting, best high in the world!
1:25 yeah, can relate. 450 hours into the game and I started just like 2-3 months ago... 1:57:25 also, yes. Her AI has a tendency to try to run away from the winged horrors to cast a ranged spell which results her taking a lot of damage from attacks of opportunity. Marcus also hits like a truck at least on higher difficulties (never played explorer so can't comment on that) and if the winged horrors paralyze her that's an instant loss in this combat. Although in hindsight the fight wasn't all that bad it was one of the fights I was most nervous going into on my good durge honour mode run.
I don't know if this will be at all helpful or of interest to you, but here is some stuff about Dragon Age. There are three main Dragon Age games: Dragon Age Origins (2009), Dragon Age II (2011), and Dragon Age Inquisition (2014). The lead writer for them started his career on Baldur's Gate II and most recently released Stray Gods The Roleplaying Musical (although he isn't working on the new one). Origins is probably the closest to BG3 in terms of gameplay (on PC, at least), and all three are available on Playstation as well as PC. The first is a little dated now (released in 2009) but the story is pretty good, and it does a great job of introducing the world. Like BG3 there is a lot of lore. The new game is Dragon Age: The Veilguard, set to be released in October. There are several books, comics, and a tabletop role-playing game. There is a 2012 anime film, Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker (a prequel to Dragon Age Inquisition), a 2022 Netflix animated series Dragon Age: Absolution (starring Matt Mercer among others, a sequel to Inquisition and prequel to Veilguard), and some webseries including a (very low-budget) live action webseries, Dragon Age: Redemption (by and starring Felicia Day, who you might have crossed paths with at MCM). The games are built on the same basic structure and vibe as BG3 (high fantasy, action/adventure, role-playing games) with similar mechanics, the big difference being the lack of turn-based mode (although they do let you pause at will during combat, to prepare things). The gameplay and graphics may feel a little clunky as the games are older, but they are worth playing for the world and the story. They're not as gay as BG3 but are pretty gay considering their age. You should be fine to play Dragon Age: The Veilguard without having played the earlier ones. If you only have time for one Inquisition is worth playing as it looks like it will die directly into The Veilguard. Origins and Inquisition are similar in length to BG3 (40-100 hours for a playthrough depending on how many side quests you do), Dragon Age II is shorter (20-60 hours). Each game has a new player character and is set in a new part of the world, but the stories are connected and some characters return.
