I met the Ventures about 20 years ago. Had a guitar with me and they saw John Jorgenson’s signature on it and went nuts. They all signed my guitar which I still have. Funny thing, literally spoke to John today! Thanks for your lessons Tom.
Great as always, Tom. Love the Ventures, hoping you can do the song BLUE HAWAII by them. It's on the mellow side but i love the chords used in that song. Thanks again, you play terrific.
I really look forward to your Ventures arrangements. Glad to see that you are covering the Surfrajettes also. They are carrying on the Ventures surf traditions. I would enjoy seeing you cover Sloop John B from the Go album. Keep up the great job
Hi Tom - Dumb question to ask but curious - why do you have two different Jazzmasters? I'm asking because I just purchased my first one a few months ago and am wondering if I am missing something
The sonic blue one has pickups that are more “vintage” sounding, closer to pickups they made back in the 60s. Also the neck profile on the blue is vintage spec at 7.25”. And I really like the sonic blue color. I love the sunburst too, they are just different, the sunburst one offering a more modern playability.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE VENTURES, AND, YOU'RE PLAYING THESE TUNE JUST RIGHT!!!!!!!!! WAY TOO COOL!!!!!!!!!...

I don’t know quite how you management it, but you always get the tone down pretty darn close to the original recording. Good stuff.
What can one say that hasn't been conveyed before, AWESOME !
