    I keep searching for Indian Minimalists, since it is not easy to follow western minimalists. Keep bringing up more such videos.
    Thank you 😊

    We follow a simple step, I won’t buy groceries/ provisions on a monthly basis instead weekly once we buy and we have 3-4 big containers categorised for lentils, breakfast cereals, beans, masalas & flours. This way we can avoid using multiple containers in kitchen and cleaning also is simple. After cooking we will just , close it with rubber bands or clips and put back in the respective containers.All these tadka alone we use spice box small one. Weekly fruits and veggies always wash thoroughly and cut in to pieces and refrigerate so it’s time consuming and maintenance will be easy. Now a days there are so many stainless fridge containers are available which are easy to clean and maintain. Cooking and washing dishes goes hand in hand so it’s a parallel process.
    This way kitchen looks clean and fresh ever

      Thank you for sharing your practices 🙂. This is insightful. I should start practicing cutting and keeping fruits and veggies in the fridge, that helps to save time.

    its nice but also i noticed u used aluminium vessel and it is reactive with acidic foods (like tomatoes, vinegar, and citrus), which can cause the metal to leach into the food so better u switch to stainless vessels to maintain good health aswell

      That wok is something I am reusing from my mom's old collections and now am in a journey to upgrade all my utensils into Stainless steel. Thank you for the suggestion, and I will keep it in mind 👍

    Minimalist is perfectly fine but Don’t store hot food in plastic containers

    • @abovetheflavors
      @abovetheflavors  Месяц назад +2

      The container has a microwave safe symbol on that so it indicates it's safe to hold heat. But I agree with you that, it's never safe to hold heat in a plastic container. I will be more mindful about it

    I think you should bye some good quality container for storage once ... because your kitchen looks so messy ..and untidy

      I try to reuse plastic containers to reduce waste, and I know that's not aesthetically pleasing, but it helps to keep reducing waste from my kitchen.

      That is a microwave safe plastic container. Still I agree with you, it's not 100% safe. I will be mindful about it.
