If you haven't read it there is one single novel as far as I know that's with the pair, and it's called The Shroud of Sorrow

There's so much fun and *heavy flirting,* as well as deep affection between them that blossoms into love. It's totally that honeymoon stage when a couple begins dating, haha. Clara x Twelve is that deep, gut-wrenching soulmate stage where you don't even realize how much you love a person because it's become a part of your every day being. THEY become a part of your being. And that's what happened with Clara and Twelve: they are the Hybrid. The Doctor x Clara is my OTP, whether Whouffle or Whouffaldi. I wish we could've gotten way more seasons with Whouffle though, their chemistry deserved at least 2 full seasons 😩
yes, exactly! eleven and clara was like the infatuation stage, twelve and clara is when their love for each other went past romantic and into just being a part of who they are - they were soulmates. i don't ship them because i don't think their love was purely romantic. they were just made for each other, and twelve and clara will always be my favorite duo for that reason. the only duo that comes close to topping how perfect they are for each other is ten and donna
Alongside ten and rose, eleven and clara are my second favorite duo and they deserved more seasons together. We'd have a lot of fun and angst for sure.
What's great is seeing these two dominate the two biggest shows right now, it's giving me joy. People loved them here and now they love them as a Targaryen and a Constantine.

New WHO is hard on companions. In classic who (at least after Troughton, I've never seen the Second Doctor series) only Peri and Adric ended up dead. Martha seems to be the only survivor in New Who. Clara, Bill, River: dead Rose, Amy, Rory: stranded. Donna, alive but mind-wiped. Not a good trend.

I think because the actress was also beginning to film the "Victoria" show also on BBC, and it probably would've been confusing for viewers
