Thanks for the review! I have to say I hate those dots... What happens if it gets humid? What about dust? It's weird...
I am trying to decide between this one and the Voigtlander 35mm f1.2 for FX mount.

Interesting lens and it is always nice to have options, but I think this lens is priced too high for X mount. With Leica M you have Voigtländer and well, Leica glass as the main lens options. Voigtländer is a good and cheaply priced alternative to Leica and looking at Leica prices, the Thypoch lenses become much more attractive! Why should I pay so much for a manual focus lens that doesnt really offer anything special for Fujifilm? They don't even have electronical contacts for exif data, something that is found on the cheaper Voigtländer lenses with X mount. The floating lens element is awesome, but again: best for Leica and the limited minimal focus distance and rangefinder technique. In Fujiland lenses can easily focus quite close so the floating lens element doesnt matter much here. Your advice with buying the m mount version is really good and I totally agree! Also a much better resell value :) I would buy a Thypoch lens, but not at that price and I suspect finding them used with x mount will be a rare chance. Best to look out for m mount versions :)

Thanks, I see the Thypoch lenses as good alternatives for Voigtlander and Leica lenses in the M-mount indeed. I hope I'll be able to test out one of their lenses on a full frame camera or even the GFX.
