Anyone using a GTX card or older (not including 1660s) don’t qualify for the system performance overclock settings. You need RTX 20 series, GTX 16 series or newer.

@@Jomenaa well a lot of the performance tweaks you could do on MSI afterburner in any case as far as I understand. So it is possible, they just don’t want allow it.

Sometimes you have to overclock your wallet to get those FPS gain$
Note: The Automatic Tuning only works for GTX16 series and above. So don't delete MSI Afterburner which can overclock most GPU's.
i have rtx 4070 for laptop and it's disabled for me
Every time I tried using the Nvidia App's overlay while taking a screenshot it's completely black and can't seem to fix it. Is there any way to solve this? I mostly play in fullscreen borderless mode, sometimes changing it to fullscreen seems to fix the problem, but not in all games tho. Is there a fix to this?

Why won´t automatic GPU tuning work? Non of the videos on the topic comes with a solution that works. It just says that it can´t scan my system due to the current demand on the system (ot word for word, but can´t 100% remember what it says)

At first mine wouldn't let me switch it on, I don't know why or what I did to fix it, but eventually I could but I can't see all the different scales and controls that you have. How can I fix it?
Cool app for sure but was resetting my recording every time I tabbed out of the game, so I lose everything I wanted to record. Installed old version of GeForce experience, now recordings work fine. If they fix that, I might switch to this.

120fps is on all RTX GPUs? But AV1 is exclusive to 4000 series

I have the 3060 rtx and have the app. I reinstalled the the newest driver and still don't have the system section. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I have the i5 11400f, 32 gig 3600 ram and the 3060 rtx 12gb. Driver version i have is the 556.12
EDIT - Just noticed when going through your NVCP video and setting that up when I opened NApp it has all the same settings! So scratch this.

@PiratFist975 I found the solution for me, you literally have to close everything and dont even touch anything while the process is running, I mean ofc don't touch windows processes, just turn off the things you usually use but windows don't need them to work

My 3080 clocks dropped using the new overclock method in the nvidia app. Easily hits 2000mhz on clock stock but with this it dropped it to 1685 and lost a lot of fps in gpu bound areas.

@@beautifullife8895 dont optimize your games thrugh the app LMAO, it gives you the wrong settings. just watch a yt video or set everything to low if you want performance (assuming you do if youre "optimizing" games in the app). app said 60gps for ow2 when i can clearly run it at over 500fps all low settings. its useless
The reason bit rate can go from 150 to 250mbps will be the dual AV1 encoders for RTX 4070 Ti onwards that has dual encoders but also there is a 12GB limitation of VRAM needed.
As for overclocking i still prefer MSI Afterburner because of it's curve so it slightly undervolts and even with a pitiful 105% power increase my RTX4070 Ti Super hits around 2.85-2.9GHz boost depending on the game.
Yeah MSI is still the way for anyone willing to tune, but it's great to see more options, I'd love to see some proper manual OC options added :)

Hey Panjino. I think this overlocker is great however, my app only shows the automatic tuning for the overclocker. Is it because my gpu is only a 3050 on a laptop?

The app has never been able to load optimal values for any of my games. If there's a reason why, I can't find it. I believe it worked previous to this latest update.
Funny when the app first came out I had the HDR as an option, but since then it has disappeared, even with a 3070 and a tv that supports HDR

You don't have an overclock running or anything in another app? Web browsers, discord and Spotify also use hardware acceleration so you could temporarily close those and try :)

Will this pretty much eliminate any of the OC versions of any video card? This sounds like people that aren't comfortable to OC their own, to buy the OC version (that most manufacturers provide) to be moot.

you can already enable that with the Alt+Z overlay. The only thing that's missing from there is the RAM usage statistic, but GPU, CPU, VRAM etc are all there

Curious why i have i 4080 super and yet i do not have any RTX HDR option in the control panel and was wondering why this is? i am currently on windows10 and not 11 and was curious if this is why? any help i would appreciate.. Thank you.
If i am not mistaken you need an HDR monitor to use HDR
I also don't have the option but I believe in my case it is because I have dual monitors and it doesn't support that at the moment. I think in your case it is because you are on Windows 10 and it says in the official specs that it requires Windows 11 to work.

@@xamt0n Yes i understand that and sorry i meant to state that i do have an HDR monitor and also have HDR within windows active currently just not through the Nvidia app since it doesn't show up. I am starting to believe it is something related to being a windows 11 only feature
@@MyJman37I’m guessing that you’re using more than one monitor. You can’t use RTX HDR with multiple monitors, it tells you this when you hover over the setting and it tells why it’s greyed out. I would just stick with game native HDR if available if not then Reshade HDR or Special K HDR for example.
Also it’s in the Nvidia app not control panel, Nvidia promised support for multiple monitors ages ago but they still haven’t changed that.

I have several performance problems with this new Nvidia App on RTX3070: caused CS2 stuttering and input lag incease, performance stats bar is not working properly (stuck on the same value). Auto tuning option cause to use my GPU at 100% even when I'm not playing anything at all, and all my games started to become very laggy when this option is on. So I don't use it.

1. does this app replace the older videos methods of underclocking your gpu and cpu?
2. does the app have features that are only available with 40 series?
3. for the 30 series, is it better to stay with the nvidia control and nvidia geforce experience?
