Oh snap!!!!! I don't know if it was the music, snapping, safety warnings or the Star Trek characters in the back but I really loved watching this build. I wish the rc elf would visit me with a new M0 kit.
I loved how it turned out in the end (and what I liked most is that it has a good height from the chassis to the ground) the pebbles will not scratch the chassis so easily) Regards
Nice edit!👍 I learned to not grease external parts. It collects crap and the crap grinds the plastic away. I use silicone spray on my rally builds. TT01 53662 tie rods for toe adjustment and front shocks from the WL toys 124018 car all around. Chassis cover set and a fan on the motor.
Love it dude! That was awesome and easily the most entertaining build video that I've seen! Hat's off to you, that must have taken some filming and editing. Love the way you put in the little "fails" when the parts failed to attach the first time! Of course I must thank you for the mentions and credits, that was very kind of you, dude. Looking forward to the body video (?!?!?!) and to see if it runs well on the rough stuff! All the best my friend and wishing you a wonderful Christmas and New Year - cheers! 😁✌🤝👍
Oh thanks so much! That makes me super happy! It took many gigs and many hours ( it long...) but I guess I get a kick out of it and find it rewarding if anyone enjoys my take on it. Ah you noticed! Some of these trick shots take many, many takes so I thought why not use them :) As for the mentions, of course! I watch your videos a lot as I find them to be a great source of info and entertainment. I was in knots at you and Rob doing the RC elf Christmas vid. To good! I thank you for checking in and I wish you and yours all the best this holiday season (and beyond)!! Cheers
Hey thanks! I did take a long time editing this one like crazy. So I was thinking about a chassis cover and I am hoping one of the two Hobby shops near me might carry one. Thanks for checking in!
Awesome! Thanks dude! Thats what I do it for, to share my quirky build humour.. I have two bodies, one is the stock yaris WRC gazoo racing and a surprise one from a british body company. Not sure which but soon in the new year! cheers!
This video is great fun 😃. That’s the first time I’ve seen the hot glue trick filling the hollow spots. Good idea! Does it strengthen the chassis or screw attachment points? Keep up the good work 👍👍
Hey thank you! So the hot glue was shared with by Mark Bryan RC. Essentially the hot glue helps keep small stones from getting caught in the steering linkage. Cheers
1st? NO. Not too long. Second? HOLY EDITING. Yeah I am with Mr. Brian here. Love it Dude. Well done. Not sure why but I got to keep watching. lol Thumbs up here brother. Merry Christmas to you and the family . All the best in the new year.
Aww thanks so much dude! What an awesome compliment. Glad you liked it as it isn't always easy to find something fun and entertaining (besides informative) to watch. Merry christmas to you and yours too!
Hi there and a great building review, just love the idea of snapping the fingers and knocking the table for installation procedures to be completed. I think those rally block tyres are going to grip the surface like the proverbial lawn scarification machine 😂😂😂. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you and the family 😉😊🎅🎄
Hey thank you so much! I am happy you enjoyed it! Making the movies I want to see-for you! 🤣🤣 Yes The model says “on road only” but I’ll have none of that. So Rally block it is! Merry Christmas and happy newyears to you and yours!!
Im a long time rally racer and i suggest the xv01 long damper spec. I also own and run the only public rc rally cross track in America that's located in Oregon
Awesome! I started with the on road-to-rally conversion because it is all I could get at the time. I have heard a lot of great things about the XV-01 so I will add it to my wish list! I live in eastern Canada however, but I would love to get to see a real RC rally track someday. Cheers
Спасибо, Google Translate! Ну, магия занимает много времени. Это медленно. Но если вы продолжите это и посмотрите другие мои видео о сборке, вы получите это! Спасибо за просмотр!
Thank you, Google Translate! Well, magic takes a lot of time. It's slow. But if you continue this and watch my other build videos, you'll get it! Thank you for watching! REPLY
Hey! No. Adjustment points are rear tread width, ride height and wheelbase ( either 257 mm or 251mm. Unlike the MF01x chassis which is more drastic with parts that shorten or extend the chassis.
gotcha. I just went all out with this, being my first TT-02. Hopefully I will learn the tolerances better on the second, or get replacement parts. cheers!
Wonderful build as always dude! There are some awesome channels that have some mods for the TT02 to give some extra performance off road. Check out Mark Bryan who has a series if you haven’t already 👍🏻
Thanks! Yes Mark's channel is where I got my mods from. I actually shouted him out twice in this lengthy vid. There are so many good ones though you're right! Cheers!
nice "art" to put it on that way - and even not bad to mention mark here and there when it comes to the "modifications". but, you missed one - the "rear lower arms" had ben a little bit of plastic, and mark had got rid of that - that's what i had seen (jep, i even had seenn his video before - And have build my tt-02 after his "mod"-video, even including that small part what have been maybe forgotten). but well, happens - especially after such a attempt for the video (it surely was a lot of work). sadly for me, i don't have a rally-car body atm, and neither rims for the wheels (even when i had some "finished" tarmac-tires, butno seperate rims for the rally block-tires). well then, have fun with it!
Hey thanks for the great comment! i may have missed that small bit on the rear arms but I may have done it off camera. I hope you get some rally body and wheels soon and get out there! Cheers
@@MauzyrockRC sure, video quality is great but adding slow childish transitions is frustrating to watch. I wanted to watch your rally conversion but I just couldn't do it. Us who are into the hobby seek information, not childish gimmicks because the gimmicks just enforce people to see this great hobby more as childish toys.
@@Ricer_RC Ah I see. Well then I would refer you to MarkBryan RC. He is top notch. Sorry this purely entertainment vid did not tick yer boxes. There are a few tips in there. I like making creative vids. But thanks for the feedback. My running footage is more straight forward I think.
So what are the rally mods ? Tires just tires ? Take off the travel limiters to get more suspension travel, throw in universal CVDs, put 75mm tires, not the rally blocks.
Hey, Well, putting bigger tires on will kill the look I want. That's why I got the rally block. In the video it shows all the tweaks. I did some trimming for suspension travel and steering throw. Wider turning radius now. If my dogbones pop out then I may try CVDs.
