How to start the weekend in the nicest way possible. Holy Sh*t indeed! 😂 And @Steve, I just realised the rhythm, that you always comment IN TIME with the music, it’s like the best voice over in a reaction video..!! Such a tell that you’re a true musician. ❤👏🏻
My 9 year old son laughs at the fact that I’m utterly in love with this band. He says their songs are only good when you « watch » them perform. So young and still so much to learn… I must admit that, initially, I had the same expectation as you Steve whenever there was no video recording with the music. But every time I’d listen to their albums, I’d always think to myself : « How the fuck can this be performed by only three guys?!? » The sounds they manage to create are astounding! As usual, your reactions are so fun to watch. I think it’s the first time I hear « Fuck you » used as a compliment! I’m so overjoyed whenever a song has this much of an impact on a person. Thanks for keeping it real :-)
Haha, your joy is so contagious! Thanks! The way Aron is pushing and pulling in this one is ridiculous. Well, it's all quite ridiculous... ly good. Thanks again and have a great weekend 🙏🙋
LMFAO, i reacted almost exact same way when aaron did his chops and when you blurted out "fuk you!" i pissed myself laughing. your awesome dude, love every single reaction my guy!!!
Ive known DL for good part of 9 years now and just started watching the first reactions vids and it's just fantastic to see musicians having awake brain surgery done just by the sound of these 3 masters
I love your reactions to these cats! What you are going through at the moment, is exactly what I am doing right along with you! It's been a long time since I've had a band move me this. I just love these guys!
Wow, Steve one of my favorite reactions from you. I hadn't listened to this song in a while and hearing it again along with your first time was just wonderful. So fun all around and I just love when you really enjoy something how your joy just radiates off the screen. Thanks so much. Loved being reminded of how great this song is and loved your infectious reaction to it!
I am also glad that he couldn't see them because I think the anticipation was greater somehow.....he couldn't anticipate what was coming quite as much and he was so joyful with all the surprises......first time for me.......again please....!
@@SteveOGRock gonna first -time these non-video tracks with you, so I hope you do the rest. You've definitely taught me that good music doesn't mean it's a good song. Before I had good music and bad music, now I have good music/song, good music and bad music. I don't think I have a good song/bad music category though.
First off, I love your visceral responses and on-the-fly commentary that doesn’t require stops. You summarize things so well. I’m amazed that you can recall the progression of elements within the song after it’s finished. “Follow the Light (part 2)” is a spot-on assessment with which I introduce this track to my friends. It also seems like this could be humorously described as “The Way She Works Shit Out” because, like that tune, a definitive piano solo appears about midway, followed by a drum-gasm, with all of it undergirded by Henrik’s ridiculosity. And it all comes in a more compressed and poppy 4-minute package instead of WSO’s 8. Yes, this one for me too is going on a loop for the next few days.
Thanks so much for sending this comment my way, it's very kind of you. Sometimes it's definitely challenging to remember all the pieces I heard during the first listen, so I'm sure there's plenty I miss... but when you actively listen (like I've had to do for this channel), you'd be surprised at how much the brain remembers. It's become a totally different listening experience for me. Great fun!
Brilliant reaction, as usual. 😃 It's just so nice to see that there are other people than me who sputter in pure disbelief when hearing one of their songs for the first time. Makes me feel a little less crazy when I'm fangirling like mad over their stuff. That drum solo is so dope, and I might be guilty of having listened to that bit way more than the rest of the song, over the years, even though the whole song is absolutely fantastic. As someone else already mentioned, Lost In You is another great song on that album, as is Die For You, Sayonara Love, and Take On the World. Well, I love the whole album, but if I had to pick a few favourites of their originals, those are the ones I keep coming back to, alongside The Way She Walks. Afterglow, from the Japanese edition of Loopified is really nice as well, but it can't be found on their channel. Someone else has put it up though, and I'll link it in a separate comment.
Both Take On the World and Afterglow are some of their softer songs, and I'm not sure if they're quite as much your cup of tea, but I'll recommend them anyway. 😋 Afterglow can be found here: ruclips.net/video/Nm-vMjbscZ4/видео.html&ab_channel=PolymetricManectric
Oh, and while we're talking about songs that they don't have on their own channel, they did a cover on Christina Aguilera's Dirty, in their early days, that is absolutely bonkers. The bass solo in that one is downright ridiculous. Unfortunately the person who has been kind enough to put it up on youtube decided to accompany it with some (in my opinion) rather annoying graphics, but I would still recommend having a look at it, because afsdsaeiflhasiöhfalksjfalkhjsf. Yup. Dirty: ruclips.net/video/uhiyV44G3O0/видео.html&ab_channel=northstarjpo
Also (and sorry for spamming you with links here) many more of their songs used to have videos up on their channel, but at some point a lot of them were taken down (and maybe more videos were available in Japan than here?). Maybe it had something to do with their contract with Verve ending? I don't know, just speculating a bit, but some of the videos were saved by people who've been kind enough to put them up on their channels. Here are links to videos of a couple of the ones I recommended above. I've heard this one so many times listening through the album, but I don't think I've paid attention to it like this. For me the most underrated track is "It Hurts." I love how effective the melody is, especially the sequence going up to the suspension on "truuuust in you" and how it doesn't feel the need to get super crazy at the end. More intense, yes, but it stays thoughtful and powerful.
What an insanely great reaction. Your emotions were so contagious, and I just sat here, even though it was my 329th listen to this song or something, I was cringing, stank-facing and just really rocking back and forth to the music and you. You have found the magic of reaction videos, and I am all for it. Thanks for a new first listen!
Dirty Loops are the dictionary definition of a gestalt. For those who don’t know, that basically means the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Given the mind-bending talent of all three individuals and their other worldly synchronicity, they are a gestalt on steroids. I’m glad you’re reaching back to their earlier work and discovering that they’ve been outrageously talented musicians from the git-go. If I’m not mistaken this song and a number of other covers they did back in 2011 were released on the Loopified album from 2014. Recommendations: Circus (Britney Spears), Tu Féte (Stromae),……hell, there’s so much gold here you should check it all.

Holy shit for real. One of my favourites of theirs, listen to it all the time. Not enough reactions to this song on RUclips. It's almost too fast to dance to standing up but sitting down will definitely move your ass and shoulders on your chair.
For sure the Goofy Movie song is a banger (the other one too, Stand Out). Something about that early 90's synth funk that was recapturing the 80's stuff but bringing back in 70's stuff... Just brilliant.
You seem to be all over the place in terms of what you react to; not a bad thing, just observing. You delight in semi-obscure bands, so I commend to your attention a formerly viral band that deserves renewed spotlight: *OK GO.* They go to amazing lengths with the PRACTICAL effects and precise choreography in their MV's. Start with "This Too Shall Pass Rube Goldberg version", then maybe try "The One Moment" (slo-mo), "Obsession" (wall full of printers), or "I Won't Let You Down" (massive dance routine in Japan)
Thanks for the message Gary! Yes, my musical interests reach far and wide. My main love is modern metal or some form of hard hitting rock, but as a musician I love hearing all kinds of music.
