Thing is actually not CGI, but is an actor doing everything in front of a green screen! It's crazy how good he is at emoting with just a hand! Btw, I'm loving your reactions to Wednesday!! Hope you're enjoying it as much as I did.
Yes, it was an actor for the most part but they said that they only used CGI when they absolutely couldn’t do the scene without it 🙂 still very impressive how the actor played thing 🥰
The actor is actually wearing a blue screen suit with only his right hand exposed with a prosthetic stump attached at the wrist. You can watch the behind the scenes released by Netflix showing how they created Thing.
Tylers voice is ‘weird’ because he is technically throwing it, watch an interview with him 😂, his voice is naturally 2 octaves higher, he is also happily married to another young man.
People always say this but watching the series she always seemed much fonder of Tyler than most people, especially more than Xavier, and she's not stupid to not notice he had feelings. Like Xavier was a clear no from the getgo, but I think it's a clear missing of subtext to pretend the Tyler Wednesday thing came out of nowhere. Especially since they're both really unexpressive characters yet people know Tyler was into Wednesday from the jump but don't pick it up the other way around.
If I remember correctly, the rest of the cast didn't see Jenna's dance beforehand... So the actor that played Taylor literally didn't know what to do lol

That something that bother me about the show, Wednesday seems ultimate smart, she obviously likes facts and history. Her not knowing Goody Adams was her ancestors or anything about her didn’t make sense to me

They actually hired a magician to play Thing! He does all the movements and everything, they simply remove his body during postproduction. You should check out the making-of Netflix posted on its RUclips channel. It’s crazy in the best possible way. 😂
Love this episode. Hunter Doohan who plays Tyler is gay so he purposely made his voice deeper for the role. He had no idea Jenna had made up her dance, so his surprised reaction is 100% Hunter. He was supposed to be dancing but he couldn’t stop watching her so his dancing is minimal. Bryce, keep that haircut, really 😊❤

I mean, they are legendary, and they are the reason why Wednesday Addams is the pop culture phenomenon she had become, particularly Addams Family Values, because of the actress portraying her, Christina Ricci (Ms. Thornhill in theseries). And while the original TV series is considered a classic, the movies are even more so.
All suspects stayed on the table for me (except Sweet Baby Eugene) until the reveal. They do a good job of throwing suspicion around. EverybodTee got the side eye lol

The dance scene along with finding out Tim Burton was involved in the show is what got me to watch it. And so glad I did. And Eugene is the best, I also refused to believe he was dead when I saw this episode
