Awesome video! Informative as always. I've been using the TW Polish + Ceramic Spray and I have to say I love the performance I can achieve. I do not see much improvement with paint correction when using the polish. I feel like the polish is more of a paint enhancer rather than a true correction product. The two combined provide fantastic gloss and super tight water beading. As usual, the results vary depending on the prep work performed.
Hi Sandro, great video as always. Thanks. Just sharing..... I just did a total paint correction on my 2019 Renault Grand Scenic. Yes it has a hard clearcoat. After all the necessary paint prep... I cut with Ultracut by Carpro(2 times w/ 3-4 passes per panel) w/ SPTA microfiber pads, IPA wipe then finish with Turtle Hybrid Polish Wax w/SPTA finishing foam pads(2 times 3-4 passes per panel). Lastly apply 1 layer of Turtle Hybrid Ceramic Coating. Results are amazing. Insane deep gloss w/ very hydrophobic properties. Thanks brother.
Really awesome to hear that mate! It definitely sounds like it was a pretty hard paint as UltraCut and MF pads definitely work well at levelling defects! Well done and I’m glad it was worth the hard work!

I just experienced this. Even after years of having to remember product line names from a deluge of drum and cymbal brands. I was trying to remember what the TW spray wax was called. Not the Ice, but from the green bottle line... I had to Google it!
Hey mate, great video! Turtle wax states that you need to wait 24 hours between coats of ceramic spray coating for maximum durability, or layering ceramic spray coating on on top of ceramic polish and wax. They also claim better durability than seal n shine if you do 2 coats, 24 hours apart on hybrid ceramic spray coating. My testing 2 coats 24 hours apart puts CSC ahead, but it’s pretty close. I will say CSC is nicer to use and glossier in my test, as well as better smelling.
Yup, I bought a bottle of Polish and Wax and Seal n Shine (new formula) after watching this video. It does say on the Polish and wax bottle to wait 24 hours. Also, I found wiping with a damp cloth actually CAUSED streaks after having already buffed with a dry cloth.
your videos are really really helpful. thanks for buying and testing all of those products so we as the viewers can pick which is the best value for us. your videos helped me personally in choosing which product is worth buying for me. thank you
I want to start off saying that I’m a fan of your content sir! One of the best ones out there, if not the best. I’m not a fan of TW products but I have used the HSC line and their polish and wax does recommend to allow for 24 hours of cure time before topping it with the spray and even 24 hours between coats with the spray itself. Great to see yet another video! Always enjoying your content
Thanks, and I was on their website prior to testing these products and I saw no info about cure times whatsoever, but if that’s the case I appreciate the info! 24hrs wait time to simply layer an AIO or spray sealant seems excessive in my experience, even counter intuitive for creating an optimal bond, but I’m sure they have their reasons for suggesting that.

Unrelated question, but is it necessary to use a "car dedicated" APC instead of a store bought multi surface cleaner, or even a degreaser? it's a lot more economical to get something like megs super degreaser and dilute it 1 : 3 to clean wheels, or dilute it to 1 : 20 to clean the interior trim and leather. Thanks again for a great video. So, would you say, going by the left side results on your second panel, that the Turtle Wax All In One is acceptable as the polish step in a two-step process following a good compound like you note just after the 5:50 mark?
Every paint is different so you will have to start with a test section, but I’m sure it can work relatively well in certain cases perhaps more so for lighter correction or finishing.
I watched your video a few times back and thank you. However, it hasn’t answered my question. I wanted a comparison of the two from your thumbnail. Polish and Wax vs Ceramic Spray Wax. Contemplating whether I should just do the polish/wax and be done or go ahead and use both
You wouldn’t normally place a polish and wax head to head as they serve different purposes. A polish is used to remove things like minor swirls, light oxidation, light water spots and restore gloss and clarity to paint. A car wax or sealant is used to amplify the finish and protect it, but on its own it’s really not going to remove any light defects though it can sometimes mask them to a small degree. The best thing to do is a little test section on the paint starting with the wax, if you’re happy with the outcome then that’s all that matters. But if you’re not happy, give the polish a go as if the paint has minor defects(as most cars do) it may help improve the finish even more so than just using the wax.
The video below helps explain how to go about discovering which compounds, polishes and pads are best suited for each specific car and it’s defects: ruclips.net/video/6tepA3wjPbY/видео.html
In general, wouldn't it be more advantageous to use something like cquartz or AvalonKing AS9 instead of spray on ceramic products such as TW HS Ceramic? If so, why?
I guess some advantages would be that they are easier and quicker to use, far more affordable and you get many applications out of these bottles, and some people may not want anything too semi-permanent or going through all the vital preparation steps to ensure those other coatings last as long as they should.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing So overall, if one is willing to do the initial prep work, higher end products such as cquartz and AS9 are perhaps more protective, durable, longer lasting (i.e. "better") than the dept store spray ceramic "coatings" (sealants)? That the higher end coatings don't really REQUIRE periodic maintenance toppers to at least meet their expected minimum lifespan (say 2 years)? Thanks
Great Video as always Sandro! Thank you for the high quality and education. What is your favorite stand alone SIO2 spray sealant? Nova Jet / Luster or something else?
Hey Sandro, Your reviews are great and very informative. Could you consider reviewing how they perform on corrected paint ? From a durability stand point, I think it might differ from applied to swirled paint vs corrected paint. I'm also curious about how it would enhance gloss and saturation, as well as see if it impacts water behaviour. Thank you !
Is the TW 3in1 detailer just marketing hype or can I use my leftover supplies of Megs Ultimate Quickwax over the TW polish and spray ceramic coating? Any chemical reaction issues likey or should i just top up the TW spray ceramic coating after a few months and just be happy?
Thanks Sandro! So enlightening! My experience was exactly as how you described machine applying twhs polish and wax in your video. Oh... And I also got myself Uno protect based on your previous AIO shoot out. Now... If only we could get NV morph in Singapore 😬
Just came across this video and really loved the in-depth review of these products. Not sure if you mentioned in the video but you did say that there's other spray sealents that are better. Which ones would those be?
Great to hear! There’s quite a few other reviews on this channel on them, but my two favourites would be Nova Jet & Lustre, but Sonax BSD and Meguiars HCW are also quite good.
Hi sandro. Hope things are ok in the Penal Colony of Viktoriastan. Anyway, reaaly enjoy the Ceramic tests you have been doing lately. I need your advice please. I have a bottle of CKQuartz UK3.0 that is unopened and been sitting in the box. I was going to use it in a couple days but.....it is dated 11/11/19. I bought over two years ago and is now 2 1/2 years old. Would you trust using this or throw it out??? Was going on the white HQ but I was not sure if I should use it or not. It is still in liquid form when I checked it yesterday. The reload with it is a milky texture when I shake it but also still a perfect liquid. Otherwise, I was going to buy a new bottle. Keep smiling down there; I feel for you in the current situation.
Not allowed to work, not allowed to visit anyone, 8pm curfew, only allowed out for an hour a day, the strictest lockdown the world has seen - I have no idea what you mean ... Personally mate, I wouldn’t tend to use it as the work involved applying a coating is always the greatest consideration and close to a year after expiry is a little long. I don’t think it would harm your paint in any way but there’s a decent chance it may not perform as well as it should.
Hi, can you suggest me between each layer of 24 hours curing time : Let say I apply 1st coat of Ceramic spray and I need to use the car on the same day, then 24 hours later .... Do I need to wash the car again prior to apply for 2nd coat. (Assuming it's not raining while I use the car)
You can’t start to break down an older coating by using something like that m, but you’ll must likely also need at least a light abrasive polish to remove it as well
Thanks for the video, I have a query, I have a 5 year old car, never done any paint protection or detailing, so can I use meguiar's ultimate compound first to remove swirls and scratches and then turtlewax ceramic spray for protection?
Yes absolutely. The videos below may help in understanding those processes a little better: ruclips.net/video/3Dydkw9OYwQ/видео.html ruclips.net/video/6tepA3wjPbY/видео.html
Does anyone know if it is safe to use Ceramic Polish and Wax on Paint protection film. I am thinking to 1) Ceramic Polish and Wax then 2) Hybrid Solution Ceramic Spray Thanks
Is there anything cheaper in Australia that can beat seal and shine in your opinion? Im a big fan...but I'm a tight arse and stock up when it's on sale for 15 bucks or so 😆
Go to Amazon AU, you can get the hybrid spray or Polish for $22 -30 Aus...I get prime for 1 month costs $6, and buy $50-100 wort of sprays and such..$47 and $38 is a rip off..
Well I did a video comparing HCW and SNS (which is quite close to TW ceramic spray) and HCW just seemed to perform better in most aspects for me personally.
Thanks for a great video! In the video you did mention that there are better spray sealants on the market that have better water behavior. Could you tell us what those are?
Can we just use turtle ceramic wax and polish or we need to top up with spray coating again, if the car is new with no paint imperfection can we just use spray coating alone?
Just wondering. Can I use the TW seal n shine or Hybrid Solutions ceramic spray with Collinite 845? If yes, which one should be applied first? Thanks! Great reciew!
Lol yes I did shake the bottle, it wasn’t my first rodeo and I did many test before the video. As mentioned in the video, different people have different experiences and also different opinions based on that experience- I was just sharing mine that I hope was useful to some.
Hybrid solutions stood up to the most aggressive chemicals we threw at it. You can confirm my findings with another video I found by project farm 🚜 it held up the longest
Thanks, but Uno is an AIO polish while Ultimate Compound is a pure non filling compound so I wouldn’t really directly compare them, I think Meguiars 3in1 would be UNO’s direct competitor but I unfortunately haven’t tried it.
Great comparison again. Interesting that Turtle Wax has brought out a new product that performs pretty much the same.. When really they just improved the wipe off.. Would like to see a video on the new The Last Coat Black Ice. Even though it will be pretty expensive to get it landed here in Aust.. With all your ceramic spray coating tests.. Still haven't seen one that out performs NV Jet yet..
Hey Sandro, great video! Love your stuff, just wondering what do you do with all your microfibre cloths? Since these have the Sio2 will they be able to be reused? Could you possibly do a video answering questions like this? Thanks for keeping us all sane with your videos 😊
Thanks, and yes I reuse them. I soak my cloths in warm water and eucalyptus wool wash, wring then out and then put them though a warm washer cycle with eucalyptus wool wash - I’ve done a video on how I maintain my microfibre cloths, cheers mate.
The issue you experienced when machine polishing is down to using significantly too much product. The amount you applied would have been sufficient for that entire panel ime. HTH
It was a couple of small drops on a completely dry pad, so no it wasn’t too much, and my results aren’t based on the one or two panels you see, they are based on a larger number of tests using a variety of paints, pads, machines and techniques as I mention in the video and as I do with all products I review.
No, as mentioned I used various techniques and speeds during my prior testing (the video is just one example) and it simply did not perform or behave well in machine polishing for me, but if it performs well for you that’s great 🙂
I agree with the long naming is confusing. I have seen tw very active on Facebook Q&A with their lead chemist. They are definetly active in their social media comments so I'd say that "marketing" vs consumer relations is very impressive. Excellent video as always.
I Don't get why would you apply ceramic spray on top of ceramic wax ..... This procedure will reduce durability of ceramic spray, from up to 12m , to probably up to 2 months. Ceramic wax alone is still not known how long it will last...... So I am not playing that game. 2 coats of Ceramic spray alone according to some detailers should last around 8 months, with 2 hours between coats. Waiting 24 hours after applying ceramic wax to apply ceramic spray is very inconvenient . Too long basically when you are making money detailing. Ceramic spray alone , then 2 hours later =same day another layer of it sounds way better. My only concern is if ceramic spray fills imperfections considerably less than ceramic wax. If ceramic spray fills just a little less then I suppose there is no point in using ceramic wax at all.
Awesome video! Informative as always.

Is it advisable to use a driller to polish a car? Or is it too harsh on the paint.
Will you be testing out the new graphene coatings on the market? Like Ethos, Adam's, etc.
Depending on what makes it’s way to Australia and what people are interested in I’ll definitely continue to do more spray sealant reviews.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing yes please
What would you recommend as a compound and polisher for a black car?
The video below helps explain how to go about discovering which compounds, polishes and pads are best suited for each specific car and it’s defects:
ruclips.net/video/6tepA3wjPbY/видео.html
What are your thoughts on bowden's beads machine vs turtle wax
It’s something I still haven’t had the chance to test out
Great review! Thank you 👏
Does this product treat varnish fading (the glossy layer that protects the paint) and what do you recommend?
It will product against UV fading/oxidation but there’s no product that will eliminate it, the sun is extremely powerful.
Thanks
Yes you can definitely look at it that way!
Mr Sandro great work mate love the attention to detail !
What microfiber rags are those ?
Thanks and I believe those where the AquaTouch Super Soft cloths which unfortunately where discontinued!
Great Video as always Sandro! Thank you for the high quality and education. What is your favorite stand alone SIO2 spray sealant? Nova Jet / Luster or something else?
Thanks, and it’s probably Jet
Great information
Best I've seen on these products👌
Hey Sandro,
Your reviews are great and very informative. Could you consider reviewing how they perform on corrected paint ? From a durability stand point, I think it might differ from applied to swirled paint vs corrected paint. I'm also curious about how it would enhance gloss and saturation, as well as see if it impacts water behaviour.
Thank you !
great review
Great video Sandro! Can you do an updated microfibre video? The previous one is quite old now.
Thanks!
Thanks, and yes it may be time for an update!
I don’t think there’s going to be any issues using other brands with it
What should I pick up? Turtle Wax's Ceramic Wax, Spray Coating or
Meguiar's Ceramic Wax? All of them are about the same price.
I think you could go either way, a lot of people seem to really like the TW but I’ve personally had better results with Megs.
Was this used with seal and shine 2.0? From what I've noticed, it performed better than the original.
No it’s was the original SNS
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Awesome, thanks for the reply! Love your channel, you do astounding work.
I don’t think it would harm your paint in any way but there’s a decent chance it may not perform as well as it should.
wth is rupes uno chaohine?
Hi, can you suggest me between each layer of 24 hours curing time :
Let say I apply 1st coat of Ceramic spray and I need to use the car on the same day, then 24 hours later .... Do I need to wash the car again prior to apply for 2nd coat.
(Assuming it's not raining while I use the car)
Yes, you really need to wash again before applying another layer unless the car is inside during that period.
What is in your opinion the safest way to remove a ceramic coating? I was thinking on using regular degrease dish soap
The videos below may help in understanding those processes a little better:
ruclips.net/video/3Dydkw9OYwQ/видео.html
ruclips.net/video/6tepA3wjPbY/видео.html
Can anyone say how this compares to 3D Speed?
Ugh i just got a F11 ad during the video 😑😑😑 lmao. But good video like always Sandro 💯💯
Can you use the Tw polish on head lights?
Yes you can.
Quick question, so I polish, then use turtle wax spray for example and then wax? (I have turtle wax carnauba)
Always polish first, but there’s no absolute rules as to which wax you want to use first or second.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing but should I use both carnauba wax and this ceramic wax?
It’s really up to you. Maybe just start with the spray wax and you can always add some Carnauba wax down the track.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing yeah good idea! I’ll try that thanks
Does anyone know if it is safe to use Ceramic Polish and Wax on Paint protection film.
I am thinking to
1) Ceramic Polish and Wax then
2) Hybrid Solution Ceramic Spray
Thanks
You can generally use a light polish on PPF to help remove any light oxidation, swirls or baked on traffic film and the spray should also be fine.
Hello, does this product provide UV protection on the paint? Thank you!
All all paint protections products offer some level of UV protection, exactly how much these will I’m not entirely sure.
Is there anything cheaper in Australia that can beat seal and shine in your opinion? Im a big fan...but I'm a tight arse and stock up when it's on sale for 15 bucks or so 😆
It’s really hard to find anything cheaper than that in Australia- we just simply tend to pay more for detailing products here.
Donc la cire est meilleure ????
Go to Amazon AU, you can get the hybrid spray or Polish for $22 -30 Aus...I get prime for 1 month costs $6, and buy $50-100 wort of sprays and such..$47 and $38 is a rip off..
Hi Sandro, how about Rupes Uno Protect vs TW Ceramic Polish & Wax... Which one is better??
I did a direct comparison of the two in that video and Uno worked better for me.
Which would you recommend Sandro, TW Ceramic spray coating or Meguairs Hybrid Ceramic Wax? Awesome video like always.
Well I did a video comparing HCW and SNS (which is quite close to TW ceramic spray) and HCW just seemed to perform better in most aspects for me personally.
I’m a bit disappointed with meguiars after using tw green bottle and even the yellow spray wax.
Thanks for a great video! In the video you did mention that there are better spray sealants on the market that have better water behavior. Could you tell us what those are?
Thanks and some of them are Meguiars HCW, Sonax BSD, Nv Nova Jet - there’s a few other videos on the channel that review them.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing in terms of ease of application, is turtle wax easier than Meguiars?
I’m not sure there’s that much of a difference, but maybe this video will help:
ruclips.net/video/usA3lvRbFO4/видео.html
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thanks!! What do you think about opti seal?
It’s probably not a favourite of mine
Can we just use turtle ceramic wax and polish or we need to top up with spray coating again, if the car is new with no paint imperfection can we just use spray coating alone?
Yes you can use the polish and wax alone if you wish and you can even use the spray coating on its own
Try polishing with a spray of water or do it on a wet car after wshing
Just wondering. Can I use the TW seal n shine or Hybrid Solutions ceramic spray with Collinite 845? If yes, which one should be applied first? Thanks! Great reciew!
I think you could use either as a base layer for 845
Apex detail did a review on this wax and said it was fantastic to use by da, gave plenty of buffing time ? Did you shake the bottle ?
Lol yes I did shake the bottle, it wasn’t my first rodeo and I did many test before the video. As mentioned in the video, different people have different experiences and also different opinions based on that experience- I was just sharing mine that I hope was useful to some.
Well done.
What's your thought on the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating vs Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax.
Which one would you recommend?
I haven’t directly compared them but I would tend to go with Meguiars as it was pretty impressive and is now much cheaper in price.
Hybrid solutions stood up to the most aggressive chemicals we threw at it. You can confirm my findings with another video I found by project farm 🚜 it held up the longest
Nice work as usual. Do you rate the Rupes Uno over Meguairs Ultimate Compound?
Thanks, but Uno is an AIO polish while Ultimate Compound is a pure non filling compound so I wouldn’t really directly compare them, I think Meguiars 3in1 would be UNO’s direct competitor but I unfortunately haven’t tried it.
Great comparison again. Interesting that Turtle Wax has brought out a new product that performs pretty much the same..
When really they just improved the wipe off.. Would like to see a video on the new The Last Coat Black Ice. Even though it will be
pretty expensive to get it landed here in Aust.. With all your ceramic spray coating tests.. Still haven't seen one that out performs NV Jet yet..
Somewhat is hide swirls
Wow that’s expensive over there. In us I get it for $6-7 dollars per bottle. Lmao about your rant over the long worded names of the product. So true!
Australia is fucked, its cheaper to fly to the US to buy 1 adobe product, than to buy in our country
Purely subjective of the observer.
The spray actually clams 12 months not 6 months your welcome 🙏
A One name product, and then the description. Your My Vote for President. Make English Great Again!
You're running the polisher too fast that's why you had issues
No, as mentioned I used various techniques and speeds during my prior testing (the video is just one example) and it simply did not perform or behave well in machine polishing for me, but if it performs well for you that’s great 🙂
i hate turtle wax and garage therapy and think its snake oil, would never buy!
Activate its shine polymers that is hilarious... Turtle Wax seems to have some good products but their marketing needs some work to say the least.
I agree with the long naming is confusing. I have seen tw very active on Facebook Q&A with their lead chemist. They are definetly active in their social media comments so I'd say that "marketing" vs consumer relations is very impressive.
Excellent video as always.
That is good that they are talking with customers. I am mainly thinking the way the products are advertised and their labels.
Ur the 8nly who had trouble with the da why
I Don't get why would you apply ceramic spray on top of ceramic wax .....
This procedure will reduce durability of ceramic spray, from up to 12m , to probably up to 2 months.
Ceramic wax alone is still not known how long it will last...... So I am not playing that game.
2 coats of Ceramic spray alone according to some detailers should last around 8 months, with
2 hours between coats.
