hey pump, how do you even deal with doing sbg as fire? How can you combust and avoid target swapping when the first boss has add phases, the second boss has add phases, the third boss has adds + burial and the last one has adds?
@@_DarkMoves 1st boss we have to hard swap, on fortified weeks I sometimes greed and stay boss, but on tyrannical you have to swap and take the L. Second boss is chill, try and line up combust for after soul rip since we get a nice damage buff. Third boss (worm) is actually fine, ignite ticks when he is underground funnily enough. I usually end up being top DPS at third boss just because ranged + ignite, but you still have to not space out and bait the pools for melee. I swap to the adds when they spawn and try to communicate that i'm soloing one, want to be hitting the one my other DPS aren't. Last boss I am completely sticking boss, even during wall. Ignite ticks for a significant amount onto the add wall, but if it looks close i'll switch. Overall it is a pretty meh dungeon for fire, but it's workable
Love the content man, I really appreciate how you break down the pulls and show the not so pretty parts of pushing content in a positive way. You helped refresh my perspective and make pushing keys a more fun experience for me
Just started this video and if you'd like it, here's some advice for pack you've shown in SBG. The dominators threat table represents the souls threat table, so you have to take are of having threat on the dominators so the souls dont hit your party, the best way to achieve this is by interrupting (or in your case just gripping) the FAR dominator in the middle of the other twos. This way your tank easily hits all of them for threat, you won't have any threat issues there and you stil only have to take care of one targets worth of interrupts in this pack. It's by far the easiest way to play the pack. Nothing in your group CCs by accident so you can just decide not to use your aoe stops and instead rely on single interrupts for the one guy. Merely a 3k pleb too, so you might be more comfortable with your idea, but still - wanted to toss that out for you. For AV: Definitely make all use of focus macros for your interrupts there. There's no reason you don't start ramping ASAP on the target you want to ramp on. Just focus the lasher, and focus interrupt it. For AA: Shrouding to Vex on start and getting a solid double pull with bl off is incredible valueable there. It's much better than starting tree. For HoV: Have your DK pop his cds, chaining them, even double using them when gathering (!) the bears, once they're in a semi good range to each other either have him massgrip on a bear if he runs that or try to get them a bit tighter anyways WITHOUT LETTING YOURSELF GET HIT. Do NOT ever try to facetank these unless you have stupid amounts of cds up and you absolutely know for sure you can survive this. Have your rogue switch to slow poison there. DK literally just runs circles around the mobs hitting with poo dmg while you guys finish it off. Blood Boil, DnD and Tricks should be plenty of threat for this. If he wants to use slappy hands there, only use it while gathering or it'll be suicide. You can even sweetspot the bears so they dont melee you nor charge you.
That SBG comment helps a lot, thanks! Had no clue how the subjugator packs worked, or why people would get randomly one shot doing the no interrupt strat, weird threat explains a lot
Having a solid group like this always makes me jealous, my guild is very casual, and my prog group recently decided to disband, so I've been left in the pugging realm, and boy oh boy... being patient is easier said than done after having your key go from a +18 to a +9 from countless bricked keys.. good content though, one of the few things giving me motivation to keep playing is seeing people do this good =)
Thanks! And it is somewhat difficult to find a like-minded group at a similar skill level - have to get lucky with a guild group in most cases, or luck into a 4 man stack in dungeons. Definitely can be tough to stay motivated
Hey awesome videos just finished this and your 10 hour pugging. Would be awesome with some quiet background music so the soundeffects you add and the rest does not sound of out place. Love the content and good luck with your goal i will be following the channel for future runs
Good luck bud. Really love your content. I love fire but I pug too much for fire. It just feels bad unless your tank pulls right. Anytime I do a guild 20 or higher I go fire
First time watching your content and must say was pretty interisting watching and learning from your runs. Just one question, what addons do you use to see enemy hp like that ?
ruclips.net/video/9_KpZSI3ptg/видео.html&ab_channel=Alaratori I copied this guide, can get just about whatever picture you want ingame for weakauras. She pops up when lust is off cooldown, or coming up off cooldown, haha
I think a focus kick macro might help more in RLP for cinderbolts - for that specific pack we are just organizing AOE crowd control, we have like 8 actual AOE stuns / interrupts in our comp, haha. Just have to not overlap them
At what point does fire become comfortable? I mean, like key level. I know low keys feel bad because most pacts don’t survive combust or ramp. Also, if you could, what addon or weakaura are you using for your mouse tracker/casts
On tyrannical weeks, 18+ish feels good enough on trash for ignite to build. On fort weeks, +16 is high enough to feel good, but if your teammates are blasting packs ignite might not get full value still. I would suggest frost mage for the majority of players currently, fire is a bit of effort and routing to get to work well, but very satisfying. It's possible fire feels better in lower keys, just honestly haven't done below 16s in quite a few weeks 1. SKB Tracker - wago.io/CD42zI3jL/1 2. I made my own time warp cooldown tracker, I suggest making a simple weakaura to track time warps CD. 3. Ultimate Mouse Cursor - wago.io/ZbjlsgMkp/35 4. Feel the Burn tracker (not necessary, but useful starting out) - wago.io/kVeEd0xTW
@@pumptastic I’ve played fire since legion when I picked up mage, and have been adamantly stubborn to role other specs, so I’m just gonna do my best to make it work regardless. Appreciate the info, man.
Yeee, omniCD is setup to track AOE interrupts for next episode - I don't track kicks because my tank usually calls kicks, but I should be tracking it for sure. Thanks for the support!
Yee, if you're fast enough you can get 9 seconds of it, it's definitely worth the GCD in bust. Thanks for the reminder, I didn't do it in any of the 4 AVs in this vid, was still new ish to whelping route
Temporal Warp, a talent in the mage tree lets us lust twice for 30% + 30% haste, total of 60% haste. Really fun talent, sets mage up for a big burst window when we have it
Title is top .1%, I misspoke. Here's the website that tracks the cutoff: mplus-title.vercel.app/latest

This is a really nice counterpart to all the “pugging a fresh 70 to KSM” videos (that have generally been pretty good)
That pun was almost un-bearable🐻
