@@VERTMEDIA I feel like he’s a walking example of the RUclipsr who’s simply picked up a camera without researching how to actually use said camera properly but it doesn’t matter because his personality and ability to create entertainment content trumps his filmmaking capabilities.
Not that it matters as he’s a good creator.

The Nitecore charger will charge both batteries at the same time, and quite quickly, but it has to be plugged into a Quickcharge 3.0 compatible charger to do so.
I’ve tried it all, it’s worthless.
@@PeterLindgren1 haha it’s certainly a pain, but I have found a few chargers here that will do it. Obviously a poor choice on their part to not go with USB C Power Delivery instead. But way back when it was being developed presumably it was a less obvious choice? I dunno. I’m sticking with ISDT chargers myself … just a bit chonky for travel, so the nitecore is my Reluctant travel charger. Just have to remember to bring along a very particular charging brick to make it work well.

He (and many others, myself included) have been harping on this for ages now. It’s kinda crazy!
Probably can't be done on the a7sIII and FX3, because it is a 12mp 4K cam. There's no oversampling going on in there.
The A7IV is shooting in 7K and oversampling to 4k, so you can natively crop in without losing that much detail.
The A1, though, should be able to do it in 4K oversampled mode.
@@GabrielFFontes I might have thought that, but they Did add it to the FX6, which is assumed to have the same sensor as the a7Siii and FX3 🤔

2:13 you can charge both at the same time, just use quick charge power source. Both batteries will be full in 2h, Im using the same and I like it.

My Nitecore charger can charge both FZ100 batteries simultaneously and it's fast charging tho. You gotta use those fast charging adapter plug (like Samsung etc) otherwise, it's normal charging speed.
Fantastic video Gerald! I’d say more of these roasting videos…travel kits are often pretty ratchet. You’ve achieved a level of mastery in your craft that these informal videos feel great to watch.
Also, I have that charger and it’s great and does charge 2 batteries. I’d be surprised if he didn’t break that one.

Brilliant video, such a good laugh!! Like others, super super super happy you've called out Sony on the focus breathing. I bought the Sony A1, based on your past review and am really happy with it. I also, bought the budget lens that you mentioned to get past the focus breathing issue.... that said, if/when Sony fix it, I'd happily up to at least one of the newer lenses.

The NiteCore chargers are actually fantastic - but you have to plug it in to a QuickCharge (QC 3.0) USB adapter for it to work properly, then the batteries will charge fast and simultaneously. I use the mBeat Gorilla Power 5 Port charger. One power cable running to an outlet, 4 NiteCore chargers plugged in to the hub all quick charging and all simultaneous. They work amazing when you use them properly
