Day 1: Arriving In Kabul (extreme travel) - Afghanistan Under Taliban 🇦🇫

  • Inside Taliban-Controlled Afghanistan 🇦🇫 Since I started to travel and explore Asia, Afghanistan has always been my dream country. The movies I have watched and the books I have read about Afghanistan have built dreamy expectations in my head of the country that I would not be able to experience anywhere else.
My visit did not disappoint - Afghanistan was time travel from bustling & unorganized bazaars, street shaves, same clothing in different colors, no brands, magnificent landscapes, and the bravest people with the biggest hearts of hospitality.
In my trip, we covered Mazar-i-Sharif, Kabul & Bamyan.
Visiting Afghanistan is a sensitive topic for many people. As in any country I go to, the main objective is to share the day-to-day life and spotlight the ordinary people that the mass media fail to capture. No matter how you feel about my trip, here is my summary.
Despite facing significant challenges, Afghanistan has many positive aspects that deserve recognition: diverse landscapes, rich history, warm hospitality, delicious cuisine, resilient people, and more!
    Safety:
This was the biggest concern of many people I have talked to, and naturally, that has been the main worry when you enter a war-torn country over the last 40 years. With the takeover of the Taliban, the country is much safer than before; at least no conflicts are going on.
My Persian surname, which is the same as the current supreme leader of the Taliban, my cultural background, being a man with a +3 years long beard, and looking like one of the locals do not qualify me to talk about safety much when it comes to being a tourist. I had a significant advantage, considering the above.
Disclaimer: This is not a travel advisory. Afghanistan has a government that has not been recognized by any country, with no embassies and international relations. I am a professional traveler who explored the country with an organized guide.

    8:39 - Local Lunch Experience;
    21:57 - Streets of Kabul.

Britain imposed the Treaty of Paris on Iran to protect its colony, India, from the Soviet Union. The two sides of the agreement were Iran and England. And then in 1923, England appointed Amanullah Shah as the king, and from now on, a country called Afghanistan came into existence. And this was actually a part of Iran's soil. Not an independent country that Iran wants to conquer. And Afghanistan was created only to protect the British colony, India.

I am happy that you are enjoying your trip, but I have some suggestions for you.
I know your Guide is a very honest person. Since you start your journey in Afghanistan he wants to find some low-price restaurants and hotels, and he just wants the best for you. But as a tourist, If you want to experience the best journey in Afghanistan you have to ask them for expensive and luxury Hotels and restaurants. I know there are the best restaurants like Golden Star, The Cafeteria, Zarafat, etc.
and you have to go to Baber Garden where is the Baber Shah tomb and also Darlaman Castle. I hope you enjoy it more and have the best experience in Kabul.
I miss Kabul 🥺 and I am happy that I have the opportunity to see my beautiful Kabul on your RUclips channel.

16:31 - Both pilau and biryani are eaten in Pakistan and are not considered the same at all.
Pilau = chicken or lamb (on the bone), boiled in spices for the fragrant ‘yakhni’ (meat broth) that the rice is then cooked in.
Biryani = the meat sauce and rice are prepared separately, layered in tiers, then steamed. There are many regional variations, with some people adding ingredients such as plums, potatoes and mint.

Pulao is eaten in Pakistan and Afghanistan. In Afghanistan we have various kinds of pulaos. It is cooked in meat broths and usually with meat as well and spices. Biryani is a dish from Sindh region in Punjab. It’s not native to other regions like Punjab and KPk in Pakistan. Diff regions have different cuisines.
