A good baritone. What he lacks in volume, he more than compensates with his commanding stage presence and his aisance. Of course, the fact the he is very hot is by no means unimportant.

Bass- baritone? He sounds like a baritone to me.
I've noticed that the term seems to have quite a broad application in the press, regardless of how the pro's might label the many varieties of crooning. Seems that among those labeled "bass baritone" there are some who closer to bass and others to baritone.

He is not the most EXPERIENCED one but he is good And he has a sweet woice to listen to indeed. And on Stage he has the most dashing look. And definitly he can act it seems. He is not just a çölümün With just a good voice but a combination of all.

Carico is a member of the Deutsche Oper Berlin and trust me - he is extremely handsome with good acting skills. His singing is still a little vague, though.

Sounds like the resonance is a little tight which causes the confusion between bass baritone and baritone. Less nasal resonance and more open throat would be a more satisfactory representation of his actual voice which I determine to be actually quite good.

I swear, opera fans are full of cancer, why can't you just at least appreciate the singer. They, at least, have chance to stand on the stage and sing this beautiful song. And they probably have learned the basic. Last thing, they are still (probably) a newbie, compared to Luciano Pavarotti, or Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Laurent Naouri, and many more.
There's nothing wrong with the acting, and his singing is good, he's just not the most experienced.

LOL Sure, opera fans (and other singers) can appreciate the singer. But part of appreciating a singer (ideally the MOST important part) is appreciating HOW they sing, and how their voice functions. The fact that Mr. Carico is a handsome guy who moves well and LOOKS like Bizet's Toreador doesn't disguise the fact (to a discerning opera fan/listener) that he doesn't sound like a bass-baritone, and that his voice doesn't function terribly well in this performance. Perhaps he's gotten better since then (the Aleko aria posted on his website sounds better, IMO). But part of being an opera fan is educating your ear and learning to hear the difference between functional and dysfunctional voices... and hopefully learning to hear the differences between bad singing, good singing, and great singing.

Light baritone, no more no less. Good voice but few volume. The baritone must be always the most powerful voice heard in theater, and I think he isn't..Excellent intonation anyway.

All these opinions on what he is/isnt; it isn’t really possible to say either way. Perhaps he has much more depth than he is able to show here. Perhaps he doesn’t. You can only discover that in training up until he is a finished product, when the whole world should be able to hear his true nature.
