  • Yoel, a 36 year old Cuban, reacts to his first time on a roller coaster (A real one at least). Cubans Amazed reaction to six flags because in Cuba theme parks are hardly thrill-seeking or for that matter, working. *PLEASE TURN ON CCs**
Watch Yoel and Mari go to an amusement park for the first time! His reaction is child-like filled with lots of emotions.

I love how much each of you is embracing what the USA is all about. I truely feel sorry for your families still still living in Cuba. I hope that one day your families will join you here in the states. Unfortunately people believe that that the grass is always greener on the ither side of the fence whrn it comes to established governments and every time when a country has allowed a government ti take complete control the citizens no longer have any freedoms.
244 years ago the citizens of thus nation told a tyrannical government( King George) that we nit longer recognize the British crown as our governing bidy abd delcarwd our independence as a nation. We took up arms and fought for the very freedoms that so many come to this country to find. Our revolutionary war cost us dearly in lives, but we did win our indeoendence and freedom and liberty.
Unfortunately most people in countries like Cuba would rather live under such tyranny than ti stand and fight that same tyranny sacrificing their lives if need be to ensure a free country fir future generations.

AWESOME! So cool to see how someone reacts to something so many take for granted.
Yes it is true, in America we do have so many things to share and to give. It makes my heart smile to see even the momentary happiness of escaping for a while to laugh and enjoy, to be free. Some day my friend, some day it will change. Until then, I hope everyone like you guys can make it here and achieve your dreams.
When I got out of high school I walked to the interstate with a bag over my shoulder and got a ride on a path to my future with $30 in my pocket. If someone like me, a poor kid in the middle of no where can do it, anyone can do it. My sisters and I were lucky, we had a mother who raised us to be good humans and work for what we wanted. She said if we do that, the world is ours and no one can take it from us. I know she was right. In America dreams can be made if you put everything into it. I hope you have that opportunity Yoel. America will be an even better place with more people like you. We need you today more than ever, the kind who can appreciate the freedom and opportunity that only exists here. Keep smiling!
I loved Mari on the coaster - "oh shit, oh shit" .... did not need captions for that! HAHA@! It's good! Everyone does it!

@@YoelAndMari Thank you. Almost 40 years have passed since that day I jumped off the cliff in a leap of faith. Life has been good. It's been hard and it has had it's moments of pain and I wouldn't change a thing. No one opens the door and say's "Come on in! Let me make your dreams come true".... you have to kick those doors in and fight for it. But we need a little help now and then from those who can help you get to where you are going. We all need a little help now and then. For those who have the will, there is always a way.

Very inspirational to patriotic Americans to see these videos. unfortunately, it really goes straight to politics as to why we need to understand what we have and how easily we can loose it. Also, why we need to help other countries like Cuba to get back their freedom and rights. I love to see the humility and love you have for your families in Cuba. The administration we have in place and many of the leaders in place right now would love for America to be in the state that Cuba is in right now. It would give these people complete and total power over us. as a people, we should open our eyes and make sure this never happens here and stop it from happening elsewhere!

So many of us American's take for granted the pleasures and enjoyment we have and never think twice about how many others around the world have never and never will have these experiences. Such a small thing that brings such great joy. Many selfish American's can't understand why so many want to come to America to have this life we were born into. They hate the idea of others wanting what we have here. I'm just so grateful that as long as there are people like myself who embrace their right to live a free and productive and joyful life outnumber those who don't see the wrong in denying these rights to others.
