Spot on with it being a little rough around the edges and looking slightly unfinished. That's a selling point for me... I have some really expensive works of art that im just too delicate with to actually enjoy taking out and shooting with them. This looks like a few dings, and scuffs will only improve its character and be with me at all times without any worries of damaging it. Excellent review once again

Nice shooting Mark nice sling
my ranger recurve was to smooth n slippery so I wrapped the handle... so that checkering would be quite welcome for me...
My recurve and Hiker were very smooth as well. I like the ruff finish it is really grippy.
Can you please do speed taste on 2mm thick 30x10mm wide 8 inches long rubber 😢 or the thickest rubber like 1mm or 1.5

How many yards back do you normally shoot at buddy.
Most of my shooting is done at 10m so about 12 yards but I do practice at 15 and 20 m
Did I see grip lines near the forks it looks like it’s Indestructible
I'm not sure if they are supposed to be there but it really holds tight with those there.. I honestly think I got an unfinished one.

Yes
After 30 years of machine shop experience I can tell you that those chatter marks are cause by excessive machine feeds and or speeds.
That tells me the manufacturer’s main focus is churning these out for maximum profit.
I wouldn’t buy anything with milling chatters on the product for the above sentence listed.
Poor quality.
I have been in the steel industry for 22 years and I thought the exact same thing too. I have 3 slingshots from Pocket Predator. 2 are finished beautifully but don't hold as well as this one. Where is suffers in looks it's a win for function. It's a tuff call for me but I see where you are coming from.
