Hi Steve, thanks for your interest in my custom die! I've recently been doing some work to be able to sell my dies. But I first need to adjust the design (the corners are too rounded) and do some tests, but it's in the works. I hope to have some ready to sell in a few weeks. Thanks!

Hello all- New subscriber here. Excellent and perplexing video. Rachel is all excited and enthused about this - too cool!!! Interesting that the machine is a hand crank - get that workout Rachel - but use that other arm sometimes so you don't end up looking like Hellboy. LOL :-) Still confused about how the cards got cut so perfect with how fast you put everything together and into the machine. Looking forward to more of your helpful videos. Cheers
Thanks! I'm definitely getting a one arm workout. LOL The metal die has edges in the shape of a card (with rounded corners). There are four of those in a row on the die. You place that on the printed page that has four images of cards. Run the die and plates (plastic sheets that go on and under the die) through the machine to create a lot of pressure, which pushes the die into the paper, effectively cutting out the cards.
Rachel, "mil" is not the same as "millimeter." I think that one "mil" is one thousandth of an inch. So 1 mil equals 0.0254 mm. Given how thin that is, you'll find that used most frequently in measuring the thickness of something. I hope that helps.

You can get 9 Standard Playing cards to a 8.5x11 sheet, why do the 4 card? is that the only way the template will work ? also no links to this device in notes ?
Basically what @pointeplusplus said. In her other videos you can see how she manifactures her cards. Instead of printing duplex she prints on textured paper and then folds the sheet in the middle which allows for some laminator foil to be inserted inbetween. This makes the card look a bit more professional and also improves the card's quality.
