The host of the show is like the Steve Irwin of Tiny Homes. His enthusiasm is just out the roof. It's great.
This is probably the best way I've ever seen anyone describe Bryce, and now that you say it, you are absolutely right!!
Absolutely love Steve and Bryce!
Just 2 wholesome guys who love what they do and thier passion for it is contagious
Totes agree! Bryce was born to do this work!
Hah hah. I think you are right. Bryce would never say, "This tiny home really sucks!"
Perfect description
My new obsession with this channel is not healthy 😂😂
Oh my gosh they can stand upstairs I am shook
Lol, same
Haha. It's totally healthy! :)
@@livingbig LOL
I am as well and to have TWO spaces that's just awesome it can really work it has everything! You can really adapt this to your own style and taste but keep the layout its awesome.
Lol I know right! It just started showing up on my feed, now I’m already considering a tiny home...🤷🏼♂️🤔
The guy is basically me when i get paired with the smart one for presentation in class
WHITE FACE this is a perfect comparison omg lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
He he 😄
😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The host always uses the perfect adjectives for describing the feel of the home lol.
You are absolutely rightly 😁😁
it's literally his job
hhaahha i noticed!
Australians have always seemed more articulate to me in general.
Doesn't he?
Livingbiginatinyhouse, now you come to the point, where your channel influenced people to build a tiny house and then you make a video about them to influence the next. You know, you are not just a reporter you are a creator of the movement. Not far away in the future and you are going to report about the next generation and the problems of buying an old tiny house 👵Love from Germany 🇩🇪
I just love how her husband is just amazed by her! Nice job guys! Beautiful home 💙
I noticed that too. He seems so proud of her and so into her.
That guy is so in love with and proud off his girlfriend. Very nice to see.
Yes you can see in his eyes that He is so happy to be with her.
@@user-nv3sh5jh3p same place the women like this are. it's not easy for either.
Right, the way he looks at her.
I wish them the best
That's what i have first noticed as well!
The way he looks at her with such love, pride and admiration is just delightful.
This couple is very much in love, esp the way he looks at her, it's very heart warming :) their house is lovely
Ayay multifandom for the love of God LMAO people
There on camera!!!!!!
The guy would not stop staring at her 😂😂
Yep
can't blame him, he got really lucky! look at the house she's built! but actually they both sparkle, and its LOVELY to see.
It was cute. I could tell that he was proud of her cleverness and skills.
I would too, what a woman!
He loves her
He struck the lottery in that she has both natural beauty, an amazing brain AND she has a skilled father. LOL! She struck the lottery in that he is bohemian handsome and hard working. Love their calmness and how they allow each other to speak! So good. And, that double loft is AMAZING! I love it when the homeowners are as lovely as their home and vice versa! Bravo!
The double loft with a separate TV area is a cool idea.
The commonality, which I find amazing, with each of these tiny houses the past 3 years or so is that most of them mention this channel, specifically Bryce, as the idea, inspiration for their builds. That impact is invaluable and astounding.
Hey all! I hope you enjoy this weeks video! Erin and Jake are an inspiring couple at it was such a pleasure to get a tour of their wonderful home. I was pretty blown away by the movie loft, and lots of the other very unique features in this home. Thanks so much for watching and for supporting our channel!
It's good to see what a "good" designer can do. I am the designer and decent at it but my friend is the real builder.
Living Big In A Tiny House love all the videos im getting alot of ideals for my tiny home im looking into land and found a place that makes parts for tiny homes.
Another very special house! You're really spoiling us this year Bryce!
I enjoyed this week's video!
Keep uploading so I can keep watching! :9
The movie loft - that’s the best thing I’ve ever seen in a Tiny House. I’d build a home around that!!!! Awesome Bryce 🤘
It's such a great idea, right!?
I always think that people in a Tiny House or bus conversation NEVER watch TV or movies or have small 14” screens that can’t be fun to watch. Out of all the homes you’ve shown, this is the one I want 👌👌👌
Tobias I’ve absolutely had the same thought, and I totally agree that out of all of them so far, this might be the one that resembles what I would want most. I might have to find a way to incorporate the wood fired pizza over from another house too, so I could have fresh pizza while I watch my huge tv. 😂
See, this is actually something I could see myself doing. Guest room and a big couch!
@@katiesbeenyarnified:
You'd probably just want to have an outdoor pizza oven that's portable.
This way, it doesn't take any interior space and you don't have to deconstruct anything when you move. Also, it allows you to have leeway in your weight requirements.
10:07 if you roll out of bed you are going to take the express route to the basement... It will be painful.
Quick elevator to the bathroom.

haha same thought 🤣
I was thinking sme at sme time
"This is such a beautiful looking home"
Me: *Looks at the background houses*
Haha
lmao i thought im the only one who thought of it too :D
Bwahahah.. I am in
Maybe will see in another vid. 😁
KammyFML same
That bed makes me nervous. I'd fall off straight away! I'd probably put a rail there or something. Otherwise, great place!
Same! I'd be sleeping wall side
Yip that was my thought at the end of the video, where was the question about falling out of the bed? I think a Rail, 1/2 or 1/4 height wall would be a good addition.
And it could be removable too so they can still make the bed ect
Same! Lol i was looking for this comment
I thought the same but then I was like when was the last time I literally rolled off the bed! 🤷
This is hands down my favorite tiny house. It fits everything I would want in a regular size house in such a great way. I WANT.
Cheers Lauren! Glad you like it!
Lauren Reilly I agree Lauren. You’re sexy.
Normal Guy Wtf
Normal Guy normal guy you are not normal lol
Mariem Oueslati what makes you say that?
This is really well designed. It feels relatively open. Using the stairs to get extra standing height in the loft is really smart.
This has to be one of my favourite designs. I love how open and airy it is and it seems quite user friendly and practical. It’s a nice balance between cosy aesthetic yet not cluttered.
I find these videos deeply moving. They show inspiring creations built by inspiring people who are inspired by others with the same values; creating a beautiful feed back loop of positivity! Thanks for doing what you do.
Absolutely! Thanks so much for watching, I'm so happy that you get some value from the videos.
Well said! :-) I like the door a lot tiny house but when you open that door you got the whole world outside to play in.
@@MigraineCraftsman Hi again! So do you get any ideas from the tiny house movement you can use in your properties? You mentioned that your next house will be very small, so I can't wait to see it!
Yup :-) the bathroom which lead to my master closet in my build was from tiny house designs that waste no space and have no unnecessary hallways :-) I am waiting on a quote right now for my next build after which I will decide if I want a loft in the new build or not. The idea for this little cabin is to have the master bedroom downstairs so you don't have to climb to go to sleep. The size will be 16 by 28 if you are curious (448 square feet) not tiny but almost. Don't tell Bryce I'm taking ideas from his videos lol! @@wilmaknickersfit
@@MigraineCraftsman I think he'd be really chuffed! I live in the UK and live in a small house all on one level, so I like seeing what others do with their small space. I definitely get why you want to put the master bedroom on the ground floor. I have mobility issues from MS and wish we could see more videos where you don't have to climb a ladder to go to the loo LOL! The stairs in this tiny house look wide enough to fit a narrow stair lift if it was needed in the future. See you over on your channel!
Bryce what would we do without your great tiny house finds and interviews!
Aw, thanks K!
I'm not a youtube binger. You can probably tell by this being my first comment on youtube, ever.
But can't get enough of this channel!
Hiya, i've been subbed for ages but try to keep it to 1 vid every few days. Sometimes on weekends though i watch for hours...
The ingenuity people have is incredible. I'd love to build my own but that just isn't allowed in Britain....
The best part of this video was the way he looks at her. So in love, just beautiful! 😍
Molly Kapping or one gets hit by a bus when leaving their mansion.
Congratulations Erin and Jake you've designed and built a lovely tiny house...your kitchen in particular...and your 2 loft spaces WOW...thankyou yet again Bryce I love watching your channel 🙂
Thank you Terri-Anne! Glad you enjoyed this tour. Thanks for watching!
I love it. Im jealous
The TV loft is my fave. So dreamy and pinterest-y
That double loft is the best I’ve seen. Love it!
This is the best by far, so much space and to be able to stand up next to the bed was the thing i was usually missing in other tiny houses. Very well designed!
Great tiny house! Jake's admiration and adoration for Erin was obvious -- he couldn't stop smiling as she walked us through the design. Lol
I really love how they just went for it. It's almost surreal seeing how your videos show how many people were inspired to build their own homes and in turn, we also get to see their creations as a result.
It certainly is. I feel that in a big way the channel has really gone full circle and it's wonderful how many people we feature on the show who first discovered tiny house living through our videos. :)
I would have made the tv loft as a bedroom loft and the bedroom loft as a tv loft.
Yes, bedroom next to the stairs are crazy
Good idea!
Me too...
I think the reason they did that was so they could stand up fully to get dressed instead of having to try to change on top of the bed or downstairs in their bathroom. I would have just put the TV loft on the other side of the house.
I would rather have a washing machine
This is a spectacular home built just to their taste in every way! And what a great resource they used to find their parking spot!
Erin might consider starting her own tiny house design and construction company :)
Well done!
YaaassS!! Great Ideal..
Love this design! :-) I'm 63 with very bad knees, BUT this is the first lofted one I feel I could do! I would solve the rolling out of the bed issue, by sleeping in the TV area, and turning the first spot into my creative space. Very cool!
Sounds like a great idea Molly! Glad you enjoyed this home.
Molly McGregor - I liked how there were stairs instead of a ladder. Also the stairs are wide and low which is so much better than climbing up stacked boxes or narrow and steep stairs. Plus the wall on one side of the steps feels so much more secure.
Brilliant! That solves the problem -- I was concerned about that bed-too-near-the-stairs thing, too (I'm 71). Very nice stairs and high enough bed. Important!
@@c.9231 Being not frugal on the stairs footprint but instead be super generous with it such that you can use the whole of its footprint as a whole side of a kitchen is such a smart way of approaching the stairs problem!
I want someone to look at me the same way he looks at her
You and me both 👍
My dog does.
totally :)
ikrrr!!
Same here.
I just watched the girlfriend who made her boyfriend build a house for her (who was clearly unsatified) as oppose to this guy who was blessed with a smart girlfriend who made all the work for him and he cant stop looking at her
@@melastname4558 Stigma my ass. The other couple wasn't like this at all. They had horrible chemisty on camera. The guy clearly wasn't that enthusiastic about the tiny house project, he got pressured into it and it shows.
Agreed. You can see it in her eyes. She doesnt love him a much as he does for her
Its the man who supposed to build a home for his woman.
which video is that?
Which video are you referring too ?
You can almost see the love for Erin pouring out of Jake's eyes! How sweet! The design of this home is so open and airy and the storage very clever. Your shows are so enjoyable to watch and based upon this couple, they're also inspiring more tiny home construction!
1 - design is my favorite.
2 - their relationships is my favorite.
3 - the view is one of my favorites.
Goals! (Tymi, while in isolation babe hope you see this sneaky comment hehe). ♡
I am officially addicted to watching your videos 😩
I love how this house is decorated. Perfect amount of art.
Kirsten Johnson 💝
It's amazing how many people in the comments seemingly fall out of bed
Lol 😂
That comment cracked me up :)
However, better to be safe than sorry. A nighttime fall down those stairs could break a neck!
Rolling off a top bunk is probably just as likely to kill you if you fall head first though
@@umershaikh8012 You'd probably die if you fell down the stairs too. Definitely don't get stairs just in case!
I have been following your videos for years and it amazes me how people still keep coming up with different plans, and most of them wonderful!!!
Absolutely. It's so interesting to see all the different ways that people use their space.
Interviewees always have immaculate homes, I love it when you show them cooking a meal or with a real fire: you see that they actually use that space.
I liked how the couch was long enough to lay on! Also, the cabinet/table next to it separates the living space from the kitchen and the cabinet/wall upstairs separates the bed from the cozy movie area creating the effect of having rooms. Great design!
Her partner is amazing, not intruding, quietly smiling, just a occasional word or two...
in addition to what everybody said about this beautiful couple, i love that his girlfriend was in charge of the building while he was away working and his masculinity is still in tact.
Lol,why wouldn't it be intact?
That's cave man thinking and this is for Tiny Homes not tiny minds. I know many happy couples who do won't allow gender stereotypes define or limit themselves. With respect to you and each his own, best wishes to all. Very nice house at 55,000 as well, thanks to everyone constructively involved !!!
Totes agree! He was clearly very proud of how smart & capable his girlfriend was. It was clear that he loved her even more because of that. And her take charge skills & attitude are very attractive. She's my new spirit-boss-animal!
He's a hipster, there is no masculinity involved so none to loose.
Uh, yeah but he didn't hesitate to say, "Had to keep working to fund this..." As if he really would have preferred hanging out with his wife and her father for months. Ahem. I don't know what all of you watchers are seeing. These ppl are hōhā AF.
"we weren't sure about the composting toilet but it's worked out really well" - everybody
Yeah, glad everything came out ok without making a big mess LOL
LOL! So true! Every time, I breathe a sigh of relief. Plus that one company seems to have the best model. It's in every new Tiny House now. :-)
I've never seen such dead looking grass in Wellington, considering it's usually luscious green.
Great job on the build. Love it!!👍
Bryce...I am SO conflicted. Part of me waits with great anticipation for whatever your next video might be (as I have since I first stumbled upon your channel shortly after you started).
Part of me can't stand the idea, and this is a perfect example. I thought I had my ideal THoW several episodes ago, and now I have to rethink it. This is superb!
And that's the problem...its getting to the point where I get a new favorite every time you post! What a delicious dilemma!
Thanks for all the hard work you put in to making your channel the very best on THs!
Jeff Stormer Same. At this rate I’ll have to build ten tiny homes.
I love how he always manages to bring up the positive about other people houses, this channel is super nice and really inspiring
The browns and yellows, even orange shades make this house quite charming! Talented woman, blessed couple.
This is probably one of the cleverest designs I've seen on this channel. I loved how they made the most of the space under the stairs!
Such a beautiful house! You can really see how good design can make a difference. Love the loft!! The only thing I would change if it were mine is I'd swap the two lofts, to have the bedroom in the more "secluded" bit. I can see their current bedroom as being a great movie room / office ^^
That's my plan too. As I'm not really into big screen entertainment but work from home often, I need an open space for an office. I'm gonna use the inner loft for a bedroom and make the outer one into an office. If it could fit an L desk that overlooks the high-ceiling first floor living area, as well as the front window view that would be the best tiny house office in my mind.
im constantly hearing the term infulencers on youtube who have more then 10x of your sub count but HONEST TO HEART your influenced changed people's life descisions, HATS OFF!!!

I got hooked on this channel a year ago and I cannot wait for fridays (here in the U.S.A.) for a new episode to come out. I truly love the length of these videos because I as well work long hours in the film industry and it allows me to watch something in bed before I go to sleep and not have to commit 45 mins to an hour. Its the only show that I watch every episode. Keep up the good work Bryce!
Everyone can tell that he really loves and admires her.

Most practical design I have seen! Also love the movie theatre area and there's an actual couch!
This has to be one of my favourite designs ever! Well done Erin for squeezing everything in and still keeping it open and light.
Dale, I totes agree with you. Erin's design maximized the interior space to include a great kitchen, lots of storage space, high ceilings and a roomy bedroom/TV loft. The look of it is beautiful and full of light. They did a great job!
Beautiful home!! I thought he was looking at her because she wouldn't let him get a word in, and he was waiting to. She controlled the whole conversation.
I love how she designed the tiny house. every space is very well done.
I love the Birch wood and clean lines of this house. The staircase being hidden and having the extra standing room in the loft is smart. Absolutely gorgeous! Thnx for sharing! 😍
Every tiny house reflects its owners' passions and projects - focusing on how it completes their needs so they feel at ease and content. The movie nest is awesome - I'm not entirely sure if it's better than the lofted movie room a few episodes back, with the red couch? Both are ideal for their owners. I liked her interior design touches.
Cheers Naomi! The movie loft is such a great idea. Such a cosy space.
So good seeing a lovely young lady building a house and her man being okay with letting her take charge. I'm not sure why but the NZ women I've met just seem to be really confident and capable. This video shows this off really well. Great video Bryce keep them coming.

Bryce you are so amazing heart centered n kind - and your wife behind the camera - I love how well you show the homes with full view / I love yiur channel
These talented guys have both a great sense of taste in the architecture of living space and harmony with nature. Wow, dream to have such a cozy and functional tiny house here in Siberia. Alas, winter in Russia lasts usually for about five-six months a year, and the warm summertime is approx. three months a year. Frosts in January here often reach up to -30 -40 by Celsius, so we need to pay a lot of attention to the insulation of the houses. Thanks for the vid, Bryce.
That's an interesting design challenge. Maybe look at some of the designs which are being built in Canada, where the temperatures can also get really cold. I think in the end it would be all about great insulation, great heating and being able to keep all the plumbing within the enclosed envelope of the home. Would love to see some Siberian tiny houses! I've always wanted to go there.
I live in Canada, we experience the same kind of temps as you do. The most important thing is making sure the ceiling and floor are well insulated. Most people focus on the walls and forget that heat escapes very easily through the ceiling and floor as well. Having wood heat is also ideal, as wood can put out a lot of heat. In fact, in the colder parts of the world it may even be a good idea to get a wood stove that’s slightly bigger then the space demands. That way, if the temps dip into that -40 and below range, you can load the stove up and stay toasty warm.
From a design perspective, I think it’s also important when designing tiny homes for a cold climate to pay close attention to the layout. The cold forces people to be inside for long periods of time, so I think it’s important to have a few different “spaces” in the house so people don’t feel stuck in 1 spot for months.
I love that this house has the sitting area, bedroom, loft, and kitchen table. That would be perfect if you were stuck inside in the worst parts of winter.
@@TrevAndDust Thank you for your comment. We are on different continents, our climate is about the same. Now it's March-a month, but by my Siberian standards it is still a winter month. There is still snow and temperatures below zero on Celsius (sorry, don't know how much it is in Fahrenheit). Nevertheless, I always study with huge interest the latest canadian technologies in private house construction. You did a great job. Here in n Russia, heat-saving technologies for the construction of tiny houses are still very far from the perfection. : )
@@akaserhions7918 It's amazing that we live on different continents, but our weather is similar! We still have several feet of snow here, and our temperatures are around -15 Celsius. But, it's finally starting to warm up :)
Even where I live, tiny houses are still seen as strange. Most people here think anyone who wants to live in a small house is crazy. But, I think it's crazy to have a big house that costs too much money.
Привет из России, очень рад видеть единомышленников!
Its beautiful would not change a thing actually maybe add bigger water storage. I love water...I use it like a fish😍
Yup, bigger water storage would certainly be easy to add to the home.
The TV room is pure genius. A truly magical, perfectly formed space home 👌👏
