Love this!!! THIS is the Classic Scifi\Adventure\Horror movie i think of when I think BackNDay Saturday TV Afternoonz!!! & there's a ton of others in the same vein🌎
This is one of my favourite monster movies, the characters are fun and the practical sets with bones and skulls lying around is genius awesome reaction.
yes check out the classic cruise ship Poseidon and the classic towering inferno i love survival films, i love how somebody at the beginning will say oh i'd never eat that oh yeah try starving for a week and you'll suddenly be surprised at what you will do to survive
@k.delpino1124 If memory services I heard that in a making of of on this movie. Huge Treat Williams fan since seeing Flashpoint made in 1984. Great movie that hardly anyone saw unfortunately.
the monster at the end was supposed to be kong on skull island but they scraped it and let peter jackson make his king kong film take place in the 1930’s.
This one was fun as hell in theater... the audience really had a blast. And yes, the CGI creature has always been terrible. That said, this influenced a ton of films that came after.
I've been trying to get reactors I follow on Patreon to watch this for the last few years, no one has gotten to it, I feel they will enjoy a simple fun movie action 🎬 as I see you did and surprised at unexpected moments of the film. Too long I've been suggesting this to everyone in the reacting business and you over here reacting to it out of no where. Good fun film. But the ways just recently i watched extra stuff on this movie and I've watched this many times so just this yeari found out Joey aka Benny the character here was originally killed off as Finigan thought Joey died but audience screening of this movie there turned out to fans of the character Joey were upset Joey died his performance was a fan favorite in the screenings, so filming called back only the three main actors back to reshoot alternative ending where Joey lives, so they added that surf board cgi into the small boat explosion that's why you seea surf board flying into air over explosion so the audience can see it, that's why Joey was too ride back to shore. That's why finigan, Joey, X-Men Jean look a little aged from escape scene to the newre shot beach scene, and the monster island they landed on was supposed to be the start ofa skull island film series King Kong sort of.
Maybe try: Deep Star Six,,,Laviathon,,,Death Ship (1980)Super Cheese,,,Warlords of Atlantis w/Doug McClure,,, inspiration for The Simpsons Troy McClore he also did: The Land that Time Forgot,,The People Time Forgot (part2 of time forgot),,,Humanoids from the Deep and a Sh!tTon of TV and other Movie credits
Seeing Treat Williams in a flick is always a....well.......treat.
lol

Survival films really do have a way of pushing characters to their limits. I’ll definitely add those to my watchlist!
The scream at the end was because they had landed on Kong Island. There was supposed to be a sequel about that adventure.
Seriously?!
I thought that was a rumor for years.

Actually was building up to be a skull island sequel to this movie
Whoa, I never thought of that! That would’ve been wild! Thanks for the cool tidbit!
Nice ❤❤
Many many thanks
@ 🍾no problem
Super entertaining big budget b-movie. Also Deep Blue Sea from 1999.
Absolutely! Deep Rising definitely has that entertaining
This is a fkn banger! One of the most underrated movies. Even got veteran indigenous actor Wes Studi! Lol

That creature is actually real although it’s oversized in this movie.

Thank you for sharing your experience! It’s awesome to hear how much fun you had with the audience.
It was supposed to lead up to a King Kong universe
nice!
This is one of my favorite monster movies that most people have never seen.
Nice! I love finding those underrated movies.
It's my kind of movie. I saw it in the theater and got my moneys worth. I thought that there was no way to improve it, but now there's Showdown 🎉
yeah it's cheesy, but the characters have more personality then most main chars in horror.

Thanks for sharing that behind-the-scenes info! So cool that the fans got Joey to stick around.
