Without even knowing Amaury's weight, he is worth it in GOLD!
“If there is an edge, i think we should live on it” - gotta love Potts 🤣👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
“If there’s an edge we’ve got to live on it.” MP. Classic words to live by.
Michael would have loved a former Toronto radio station’s motto which was, “😊If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much room.”
Michael in the kitchen dancing around and getting excited about pizza has made my day 😊
The greatest asset in every simple way ! Amoury, the hardest worker ever and the most lovely genuine man, such a talented craftsman. X
Yes, he is!
Micheal Potts should have his own cooking show! He is so fun and enthusiastic! He just blooms!
Yea! I subscribed to his RUclips channel and I don’t even particularly LIKE Formula1! 😂 But he IS a damn good photographer!
@@stephaniewilliams9469 🥰
Yep so in love with Mr.P
@@stephaniewilliams9469 I agree. That’s the only reason I subscribed too.
I just love Michael Potts! His energy is always so positive and happy! He's also an incredible photographer as well as chef!!❤
Gosh, what a blessing to have Amaury and his wealth of knowledge & experience and his grounded calm demeanor. You’re so fortunate to have him at Lalande. And when Grant and his wife see this video I have no doubt they’ll be bursting with pride over their son….Aumary’s kind words will have a greater impact that he’ll ever know. ❤️🇨🇦
I totally agree with you. Amaury is a treasure ❤️🇨🇦
I agree.
Where would the chateau be without Amaury........ a true professional ✅✅✅✅✅✅✅
Michael looks so pleased with all that’s going on in the Château.
It must feel fantastic to come home to a place that has always been a project, but now has constant improvements.
He has a great personality, and infectious joy!
Davey is just so wonderful to see!! He’s the kindest soul and what a magnificent mind!!! It’s been amazing to watch the transformations he dreamt, drafted, and executed!
Michael needs to be at the Chateau more, he is so down to earth and wonderfully relaxed ❤🦊
@@carolinegooder7091 I was aware, but thank you lol
@@carolinegooder7091 Thank you!!
Yes more Michael please!!!🥰
There are few things in life sweeter than watching Amaury mess with wood 😁
I am not much for hero worship. However, Amaury is amazing. The breath and depth of his knowledge about carpentry, artistry. How things in houses work and how to fix them is impressive. He is a good, kind man; true strength. And he loves Nati. He probably does not even know what a treasure he is.
Amaury is decent salt of the earth. No showing off.
I absolutely love Michael Potts! He is such a happy attitude and great, infectious humor and not too bad to look at either. I follow his vlog and have always loved and enjoyed his photography. Love all you guys❤
Omg Amaury is so talented and thoughtful. So nice to see him with Grant's son.
I agree, he was so kind & complimentary. He would make a good father.
Amaury it’s so fun to watch work. Not only does he have all the good toys, but he’s so methodical and precise it’s just a joy!🦔🦔🦔🦔
I love how Amary works; methodical and so tidy
You have no idea how much we have missed 'Sunday's at the Chateau'....
Micheal is so delightful . Just makes me smile . Thank you all 😄💖
We need a tour of Christie’s garden home.
I believe she has her own channel?
Nothing but the best for the chateau! Those dishwashers must have cost a small fortune ❤
Quote of the day “If there is an edge, we’ve got to live on it”- The Poetic Michael Potts
Michael Potts is such a kitchen wiz!
Love Michael’s skip in the dance he made in the kitchen !
Michael - what a clever ‘young man’ he is - so talented … 🫶👏🥂
Couldn’t care less about the boiler installation but sure could watch Amaury working for hours.
With hanging lamps in halls and corridors please remember furniture and construction supplies may be moving under those lights too.
With chains, you at least have the option of temporarily shortening them, with a zip tie or carabiner.
Whereas in a room, you just need to walk under them.
But in corridors, I hang them higher so plywood, Christmas trees, and armoires are less likely to bash them.
That was my thought..anyone carrying anything upstairs will hit it
Good thinking!
Good point!
I thought it was Des Kaye from Little Britain for a moment there. “Wicky Woo”
Floyd on Food, perhaps as well….😂
Are Sunday vlogs coming back? Michael and Aumary are so talented people whether that's Carpentry/Photography or Cooking they are both a great asset to the Chateau
Aumary have such a kind and detailed assessment of Jordan. Reveals so much about the collaborative expectations of his family and the stellar mentoring provided by his skilled father.
😊Amaury is a much loved young man. I have no doubt that his lovely parents helped him become such a fine man, good mentor, & strong leader himself.
Young Jordan is also a credit to Grant & Simone. Clearly, he's following closely in his amazing parent's footsteps. Their natural reaction is to pitch in when they see a need. Nice to meet his whole family this time around. Hope they pop over for another visit again one day.

If there is an edge, live on it! Love Michael P! So much fun as always....😊
I absolutely love watching Michael Potts and his baking of bread. He’s seems to be so much fun. Your shopping adventures remind me of “ flea markets” in the USA. So much fun but hard to maintain self control. Watching all of you makes me smile and brightens my day. Your friend from Vermont,USA ❤️
" If there's an edge, you have to live on it..." as a 70yrs plus, i find this so true!
Michael Is so fun and a delight! Great to See him at Lalande! Bisous 😘😘❤🎉🎉🎉
Loved the table tulips, seeing Davey again and the brocante❣️👏🏻 The lights in that entryway are going to look very nice! Love it when Michael’s there❣️👏🏻
Wow....those lights are all beautiful and are perfect for each of their future spaces!! Congratulations on the dishwashers.... what a HUGE improvement for the house! Loved the bamboo purchase...it looks perfect with the rest of the pieces. Nice to see Michael and Davey in the chateau....always good to see them and Michael is such an amazing cook!! What a team!
Michael's buns.... Sign me up! 😂❤
Amaury is an amazing carpenter. He is just wonderful. I am sure Mattie would agree. Beautiful couple!
Natie
When I see your cousin working on all those intricate areas I realize how blessed I am to have my cousin working in my house. The best part is they are doing it with lots of love for us.We r blessed.
What a find you have in Lois. Not a yes, man. He is someone who thinks for himself and gets on with things. He is also a great addition to the vlogs, with his cheeky personality. Definitely a keeper.😊
The super boys of the chateau - Phillip , Amauri - David and Michael - who reminds me of Hugh Grant -
OMG! Is anyone else totally crushing on Michael Potts? I just LOVE him!!!! Such a cool Human!
I find him utterly entrancing ❤
Mr. Potts is the heartthrob of Lalande. 🖤
Change my mind.
He's so charming. I love his humour!
I'm soo happy that the Sunday episodes are back. Thank you
Are they? 😃 Not just an Eastern special…?
Been promising for a long time !!!
I remember the courtyard when it had a few little sad bushes around it, before the gravel. It looks so good now. Progress over the whole property is so fun to see.
Those small bushes are the ones Stephanie put in and they survived, while others died. They are large now. 😄
Yay 🎉 Sundays haven’t been the same without an episode
Michael Potts is a very hansome fella! ❤
Have you ever considered putting lanterns on top of the two entrance gate pillars? It would look so nice at night when you or your guests arrive after dark.
We have, but then the peacocks couldn’t sit on them anymore!
Also the lights around the trees and pointed towards the front are there.
@Philip Janssen that's OK, they still have the roofs of the cars.
@@philipjanssen That's right!
I love this group of people so much.
I don’t know why but I almost always get choked up with emotions when I watch. Not sure if I’m the only one.
Loved seeing Grant and family again. Lovely family.
Thank you for another awesome visit . Love to all. ❤❤❤
No you're not the only one. I also tear up when I see all the friends together. When there's a big crowd. I think it's because I would like to have that family/friends togetherness too. It's so heart warming! And I think we may be too sensitive! 😉 It's all good though! Nothing wrong with that.
There is always something going on at LaLande and it's wonderful! Thank you!
The egg and bacon pizza is called an Aussie in Australia
Always so happy to see Michael at the chateau! You two seem to give each other such fun energy, another great video Stephanie!
I love Michael and the fact he makes pizza with anchovies endears him to me even more. 🙂
Michael is a great artist, from top to toes. His description of the pizzas with grestures is special. Amaury busy as usual ( but we know he can have fun too). Philip and Stephanie at the brocante, something many of us always enjoy watching, according to the live comments.
"If there's an edge, you've got to live on it." Michael. My favorite quote of the day!
So good to see Grant & family❤
wonder what are his plans
I’m so sad we didn’t see more of Grant, wife & children. They are such wonderful people. Agree with light fixtures. Please have Davy stand on the stairs for that big one before hanging. Missed Marie & Antoine-I understand they were over here . They should have scheduled a Lalande day for all of us to greet them🥰 I definitely would have bought the plates-you may never find those years again. Love that fire screen. In the US it would have been $200. When you said $48 I wanted to cry 😢 I wouldn’t have hesitated a minute.
(I’ve tried “PayPal Honey” it just never works, the codes are there but at checkout none work.) I think everyone went to that outdoor brocante. The guys at “Journey to the Chateau” were also there.
I believe Marie and Antoine just sent in a video Easter message.
Can Mr Darcy please do a bread making tutorial. His bread looks superb 🥖🍞🥖
Hello from PEI Canada. Always great to see fellow Canadians.
Hello there, I'm from New Brunswick, Canada!
@@deniserichard5613 Hello. We moved from Ontario to PEI six years ago. Love it on the east coast. BUT finding good restaurants is a BIG challenge.
DAVEY!!! Awesome to see you back at the Chateau
The little statue of the woman bent over is from a painting by Van Gough called "The Potato Pickers"....I think.
Thank you so much for all the joy!! 💝🤩💝
I absolutely LOVE how you are surrounded with so many lovely people who are skilled, driven, passionate and capable of helping you fulfill your dreams while fulfilling their own. ❤️
Amazing that Jordan has such a talented and patient mentor in Amory! He will certainly learn so much.
I love these brocante shopping days! I love seeing all of the treasures. ❤
Michael needs to have a bread baking/pizza making channel. ❤Amaury is so organized. He had all the tools at the ready for his project.
"If there's an edge, you've gotta live on it!" Priceless!!
I think Stephanie should burn Philips dungarees lol
Younare so blessed to have Amury on-staff what an asset he is for you…
Yes Michael "If there is an edge you've got to live on it". I agree.
Young people who are not shopping at IKEA, how refreshing 😂
Amaury is one of many blessings that has come to your wonderful extended family.
Amaury should write a reference for young Jordan and mail it to him. It would be such a glowing reference for the young man to have when he starts job hunting.
Who needs a bread lady when you have Michael Potts?
The alternative is to raise money for a charity of your choice through Just Giving. Same principle; every time you shop the icon pops up on the corner of your page and a percentage of your purchase will be paid to the charity of your choice. I support Medecin sans frontiers.
We need MORE of Michael Potts! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Stephanie’s coat at the brocante is amazing!
I love seeing these brochantes and couldn't believe how well everything fitted together in the end.
I find it amazing, how Armoury does all those heavy jobs.
Amaury really is such a legend. 🙌🏻✨
Pleased to see that you enjoy the scarf Philip xx love to all Josie x
I always enjoy a day out at LaLande ❤
At about 14 mins in, It was good to glimpse part of the Mass, procession and celebration of the Archbishops, priests and members of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem ( in capes with the Jerusalem Cross, large cross with four smaller crosses in each corner). I am a Dame of the Holy Sepulchre in the Eastern Lieutenancy of the USA: we gather yearly in October at St Patrick's Cathedral in NYC. Imagine that this region in France has been active since the 9th century, long before the USA came into the European and Christian sphere. One of the reasons I love to watch your vlogs! Thanks!
My nephew worked with my Father in his wood shop. Cam is now a carpenter. The scent of cut wood gets in the blood.
OMG, the Carbonaro and egg pizza sounds amazing ! 💙
That doll bed would make a perfect doggy bed for all your visiting pups!!!
Yes I have a bed similar to that for my cat!
It's so fun hearing Dan's playlist on Stephanie's vlogs
When I first started watching Stephan it was so exciting to see her and her mom work so hard at trying to fix and save the chateau.
Now,it feels like her and Philip live a boujee life with parties, travel and shopping.
Not bad,just so different.
They are still working hard to fix and save the chateau. The difference is now they can afford the help they need to do so.
It’s different, but Stephanie’s Posh accent is making it fairly annoying as she did now speak in that way.
I am still a 100% fan, just don’t know why the Super English accent started now. It’s fun in a way as I am learning how to speak posh, but it feels a bit off.
@@Jgurthova I’m surprised at your comment because I have watched Chateau Diaries since the first one and to my mind, Stephanie’s English accent has never changed?
Amoury is amazing! His helper was cute too.
You may not come across those plates again, you should buy them I think ! 💖
The big light in the stairway. Make sue you can move it out of the way when moving furniture. You had to take the rail off once!
Amaury, is spot on about most people just watching. I could never stand by and watch others work without at least offering to help but it’s getting to be a rare occurrence- sad but true.
It would be nice to see the brick bread oven use again by Michael
He has to use a gas mask in there till they rebuild that room.😢
You could imagine that the painting on the teapot was of the original and very ancient castle that was modified and rebuilt to make your chateau. How romantic!!!
Hi Stephanie well done on your bargains on your shopping spree lovley items it’s nice to see Micheal back at the chateau always look forward to his visits must complement him on his cooking I think he outdid himself with the pizzas and bread great to see davey back as well I wonder what ideas he has up his sleeve catch you on the next one
Michael is so elegant!
I love everything you bought at the Brocante, and that fire screen is perfect in front of the lovely fire place, as you said Stephanie. Your beautiful peacock is looking absolutely fabulous. I love those smaller light you have chosen for the hall way, they are so special. Amoury is so good with people, and such a special talented person, such an asset to your Chateau, and being your cousin too - you must be so very proud of him. Love all you guys. Love from Jilly & Madge the beautiful black rescue greyhound, from a wet Devon, England! xxx
Loving Michael in this vlog!
😂😂😂I love Michael Potts he does make great buns ...and bread . Lovely Tea pot . Beautiful finds today at the Bicante. Enjoy the hot cross buns.
Great to see Davey
Amoury is such a blessing in every way. Since everyone would love to have your expertise, Amoury, perhaps in your mature years you could train more craftsmen.
Delightful Easter, and all the visitors. Such wonderful friends.
The well for hot water on the children's plates is genius. I want grown up plates that stay warm!
You put them in a toaster oven. We do it every night. 😂
@@carolinegooder7091 We have a Duolite toaster, which would only accommodate salad plates, and no one likes warm salad. But that's a very cool tip for the toaster oven crowd!
@@lorrainethomas241 Does the top of the toaster get warm? I have used that in a pinch. Using the oven you have to watch and don't burn yourself.
@caroline gooder It does, but not enough to warm three plates. I could, of course, use my regular oven, but it's gas and takes a good twenty minutes to heat, so unless I'm already using it, that's a non-starter. Maybe I'll just strap plates to myself while cooking. 😁
@@lorrainethomas241 Cute.
What would you do without Amaury???
I so enjoyed the trip to the brocant, love it that we also saw the pilgrimage..you can't buy those experiences. The tulips in the kitchen are stunning, those gorgeous colours. Michael Potts has such a lovely infectious smile...good to see Davey.
Hope to see the back hallway and staircase redone soon. 😊
