Hi Sandro. I had an interview with my employer first and passed same before I applied for the evalution of my documents and visa. Hope this helps.

You will either undergo an adaptation period for 6-12 weeks or take an RCSI Aptitude Test.

Depends which institution you’re going. Some would offer adaptation and some would offer RCSI

Hello, my comment may be 2 years late but sana ma choose replyan hehe when you became a registered nurse in ireland, did you take any exam (for example, nclex for us)?
Hey! I took the IELTS exam. Other than that, I did not have to take any nursing exam. The NMBI (nursing regulatory body in Ireland) assessed my credentials in the Philippines and they asked me to undergo an adaptation program within 6-12 weeks which is the usual pathway for nurses coming from the Philippines. After passing the adaptation, I got my license and became an RN in Ireland.

It is your choice when to resign from your work. The agency has nothing to do with it. You can still work while you are processing your documents. Visa processing took a month for me.

I think so but I am not 100% sure. But we have the same regulatory body so there’s a possibility that it is the same.

1. do I have to declare pa ung past working experience even if it was 8-10 years ago? But that was abroad, so hassle na lalo na sila pa magfifill out nun- ung employer tama po ba? lalo na for verification? from Saudi Arabia pa po kasi un.
2. or should I go back sa hospital para may recent experience? or pwede din kaya pag Dialysis center lang magwowork? especially pag more that 6 years ago na ung last working as a nurse?

Hello. Kung for registration lang sa NMBI, you should have recent 18 months experience okay na un ideclare but for verification of service ng employer mo, you have to declare your experience para mas mataas ang sweldo. Hope it helps.

Hello! Yes they will accept your experience, but you would work probably on occupational health/school/nursing home settings.
What amount of experience is required , I'm having 5 months it all right also clear oet
Hi. If you want to work in an acute hospital, 18 months is required. 5 months would be okay if you want to work in nursing home.

I think pag sa ospital ka magwork, prefer nila na dapat above 100 bed capacity. pero i think you will land a job naman kahit anong level ng ospital ka galing. just double check with your agency or employer.

@@aryaneedle1536 Kailangan niyo po mag apply ng NMBI Registration pack. Dati via courier ikaw magpapadala ng documents but i think ngayon, you can submit your requirements online. That's the way po na maverify po yung experience nyo.

Yes. You have to explain the work gap if you want to declare your 3.7 years of exp from Ph. But, if you would only declare your recent 9 years exp for nmbi registration, then its okay not to explain it. Make sure you declare your exp from ph with your employer’s verification of service becaause your salary will be based in your work exp.

Hi. Get you qualifications assessed by NMBI and in that way, you’ll be able to know when you are eligible for registration. I know some nurses who have the same situation with you and were granted to undergo adaption and eventually approved for registration.

Same situation, just passed my OET based on Ireland's requirement. Dapat po maghanap muna Ng agency and employer before nagregister sa nmbi? Gaano din po kaya katagal ang process bago makaalis?
Hi Elisse. The agency will guide you on the process of the registration and assessment, but you will be responsible on completing the requirements and doing follow-up call with NMBI. Kate Cowhig is my agency and they’re really efficient. Congrats on passing your OET!
Hi Princess. Yes you have to find an agency so your application process would be smooth and the agency will give you dates of interview from an employer. I know some people directly apply from the employer’s website but were still directed to an agency. Well done on passing your OET!
