As a nurse we should take good care of ourselves and I am really wondering why most nurses has a very low budget when it comes to food and yet spend some xtra to some useless stuff. Isn't it expensive to be sick?
I'm not downplaying how much you are spending for your livelihood but don't come to the u.s. The fact that you have over two thousand Euros left to save is a lot. I own my home and my car. I'm a licensed practical nurse and can barely save $1,000. It is my dream to receive my nursing degree in Ireland and live there.
Hi! Not at all, for me , I think Im still spending a lot, could be better considering its very expensive here in Ireland. Some of my friends told me that my full month of salary is just their overtime pay in the US, I think they earn 3x more than what we earn here in Ireland/Uk.
I'm an LPN working in Alabama. The average base pay is 38,000 per year. From 2021 to 2022 I work an average of 60 to 64 hours a week only to have a salary of fifty thousand to 54,000 for the year. The registered nurses I know usually make about $10 more than a licensed practical nurse in an hour.
