@@mylenecastillanovlogs443 thank you 🙏 I appreciate it sobra

Keep in mind your medical expenses is paid by your tax money.
Hope this saves people from years of heartache and tears: 1. Work Conditions for Nurses in Ireland Nurses are used as carers in Ireland. There is a huge overlap, especially in institutions doing budget cuts. That means nurses are doubling up as carers. You would be expected to do both the medical needs and caring needs in a complex health environment where there are too many healthcare professionals and ancillary personnel who would funnel their plans on the nurse on top of their nursing and carer roles. The workload is brutal, and you will be doing it for 12 hours. Irish nurses are leaving Ireland because of the poor working conditions and very heavy workload. 2. Financial Challenges and Cost of Living Standard of living is not commensurate to the cost of living. You will be spending more for less, including for your accommodation and food. Almost half of your salary will go to your monthly rent for a small apartment if you will be able to find one. There is a small chance that you would be able to buy your own house and settle down comfortably in Ireland unless you started early and planned for everything early on. Chances are you will be doing house-sharing with other people, sharing toilets and common areas, losing some degree of privacy and control over your living space. 3. Long-Term Financial and Retirement Concerns Poor chances of having good retirement, your own home where you can live comfortably above the poverty line. Your monthly income will not be far from the salary of people in blue-collared jobs like in Tesco’s. As a nurse, you are not earning more than the average employee to have discretionary cash. You have to cut back on the quality of your life in order to save. It will be difficult to gain access to dental services, healthcare, etc., without out-of-pocket cost. Medical care, insurance, and health benefits will be out of your own pocket unless you get and pay for your own insurance. The prospect of you living solely on your retirement if you ever reach the retirement age is dim, especially if you will be renting for the rest of your life. 4. Workplace and Social Challenges Racism in Ireland is implicit. They may not say it, but you will feel it. That can also affect allocations, granting of leaves, and assignment of workload, including the way you will be treated since Ireland is insular and has minimal exposure to people of other cultural minorities. Patients are getting heavier and meaner, and as a foreigner, you are implicitly expected to stay in your lane and know your place. There are nice and lovely people as well, but it’s more like the exception than the rule. 5. Impact on Health and Well-being You will be working more hours than the number of hours you will spend sleeping-if you can sleep immediately. Combined with the heavy lifting and the stress, that will take a huge toll on your health and the number of your productive working years. 6. Quality of Life and Lifestyle Limitations Ireland is like a hamster wheel. There’s not much to do. It's the same places and activities over and over again.
Napaka advance sila magisip, sana ganyan din ako
Why you choose Ireland is because of the generous welfare system
nagwork din ako sa middle east at para sa akin ay mas better na pag may chance na magwork sa western countries like EU, UK US ay preferrably advisable dahil kahit ilang taon magtrabaho sa middle east ay di ka magiging citizen at discrimination ay nangyayari like mga gulf countries looking down sa mga galing sa developing countries. and i experienced directly.
That’s true. We have different understanding of success in life. Success is not defined by how big your house is, how many cars you have, how much money you have in the bank account. It’s how well you managed your life, family & relationship. But most of all, success without God in your life is nothing. We always have to acknowledge that we can’t do anything without God guiding & giving us strength. He is our sole provider. Our strength. Thanking God for every opportunity God is giving us, and not forgetting to give our time to God as well. Thanking God for giving us His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. We learn from our experiences in life. Best regards! From Kentucky.😃 God bless! Hello sa ating mga kababayan dyan.
Very nice content 🙏
We’ve been in that part of Waterford! Luv all those sheeps, crossing the road. Taz di ba may part ng road dyan na malakas ang magnetic field ? Iyong malapit sa tree. We love our stay dyan sa Waterford City. Dyan kami nag training ng 6 wks back in 2001. Bago kami pumunta sa assigned hospitals namin. I worked night shift. 5 nights then one wk off. Yap weather there gets very gloomy always. We loved our work & stay there for 3 yrs before moving here sa US.

True enough that we don't really do spicy in Ireland. We are more oriented towards dairy, meat and grains. Most of the basic ingredients are very high quality, mind you....
Let me know what culture differences you experienced here in the Emerald Isle 🇮🇪❤️
A funny trivia i learned here is that their "national" food is a spice bag, which is found in chinese restaurants. 😅

I’m also in my Midlife Crisis right now as a Nurse. I have experience as Emergency Nurse and Private Nurse. But I am thinking that nursing career is not the only life to live. I think we need to explore the world. But right now I came back to Philippines to try Corporate/Clinic Nurse kahit very little ang salary. But this is to experience and so on and so for.

Maganda pala may balance ang work at day off, walang over time gaya dito sa America, kung walang over time sa work pweding mag second job sila or 3rd job, hindi ko alam kung allow jan.
Haha need mo din overtime cost of living not the same as before po..super mahal ng rent dito…
Overtime ka marami mapupunta lang yan sa tax mo😂😂
I lived & worked din dyan back in 2001 from Riyadh , KSA din ako galing. Kami ang second batch ng mga Filipino nurses na dumating dyan all assigned sa east Coast health board. Bale 40 kami lahat. Nagtrain kami sa Waterford. I finished my contract sa Riyadh back in 1997-2000. Konti pa lang mga Pinoy nurses dyan noon, Taz after us, Sunod -Sunod na. 6 wks training namin. Sumunod family ko after a month . Mababait nmn mga kasama kong nurses dyan. Dalawa lang kaming PINAY nurse sa hospital nmin so we are really treated well. Learned to talk fast, kasi mabilis sila magsalita. Luv our stay there. Habang nagwowork ako dyan noon, I continued working on my IELTS. Tapos ko na CHFNS ko sa Pinas. May naghire ng nurses dyan from here sa USA, nag apply kami & got accepted. So I came here to do my NCLEX-RN & passed. Moved here in the US in 2004 w/ my family from Ireland. Ireland is beautiful, ipinanganak ko dyan ang second boy nmin. Beautiful memories & beautiful friends. Would love to go back there for a visit. Maganda din dito sa USA to those who are aspiring to come here. We need more nurses here. Regards dyan! Watching from Kentucky, USA.

Hello Nurse Boyet, I'd like to ask the instance when you have a toothache, can't you just walk in to a dentist like here in Germany yes we have appointments also, but in case your in pain you can walk in but wait for a vacant time of the dentist. Its like a chance, but you will be catered within the day
@@victormichaeloctaviano9539 hi! Unfortunately you have to make an appointment for dentists, i dont think you can be seen as fast as within the day. But there are walk in clinics-- or out of hours GP who can look after your pain -- then refer u back to ur dentist appointment. Thats unfortunate services here are really takes time for non urgents
@@BoyetVentura😟 need to wait for a month to get the proper treatment, what if this pain can lead to infection. Now i see, there are different disadvantages in different countries. Thank you Boyet for the info. I'll be watching your other vlogs😊
