Awesome to see two of our sales on your list. Two Aynsley cups that you commented we sold too cheap 🥴 but if not for your videos definitely one of them would have ended up in the trash. We found it and two others that were damaged at a government surplus auction! No one else bid and we got them for $15!!!! I’m sure if we hadn’t bid they would have been tossed out. Funny thing when we went to pick them up we had to wait while they were at lunch so we went shopping and found the cobalt blue one for $18!! Also found an orange one with the small rose in the bottom at the same store for $12. If it wasn’t for your great videos we never would have been blessed with this very nice profit. Thanks again
I started collecting teacups about 43 yrs ago. Don't have any that would go for a whole lot, but I LOVE what I have; a lot are fine bone china made in England. Love MOST of the ones you showed (I like the flowery ones-can't help it! ) Thanks for your sharing the beautiful sets.
I should have watched this week's ago to have avoided a potential missed score. Luckily I was the 1st person to the garage sale and the homeowner practically insisted I buy the teacups of his wife's mother. He and his wife had a bet that he couldn't sell them. I passed at $25 but when he offered them for $10 I took a closer look. Google Lens pulled up the Paragon set immediately with a $2,385 ask on Etsy. The other 19 in the box were still wrapped. I got them home to discover 2 Anysley and 7 Paragon with some other beauties in the mix. Ebay here we come. Thanks for the great info
Also, for any of your miniature fans…..there is a fantastic museum of miniatures in Los Angeles, near the LA County Museum of Art. I hope it’s still there, I haven’t been for years but a wonderful collection.
I’ve not found any of these high sellers but I sell a lot of teacups and teapots. They are hot sellers for me. So when I’m out and see them I buy them all.
Here's another key word to search "Luncheon Set" or "Snack Set". This are a bit different than a trio or cup and saucer in that they are a cup and saucer that is bigger so that you can put your snack/sandwich with your cup of tea. They can be very valuable.
that raspberry lip is awesome your EYES stand out and the darker your hair, it seems has the same effect .. like a Russian ice princess "The eye has to travel" a movie to share....happy summer and thanks a million for sharing🌹💐🌷🌺🌸
This was so awesome. I would love to see a monthly segment on this. My grandmother collected tea cups that were for display only in the Chiba Cabinet so I really enjoyed watching this. She was the one that got me into tea sets and tea pots. I have her old collection so I guess it’s time to go through them. She also had a few sets of tea pots and cups that she used when she had friends over for tea. They are in my buffet. Time to go through those as well. Through her I also learned how much a good cup of tea among good friends could be so enjoyable whether around a table inside, out in the garden and even on a blanket at the beach at sunset. These are memories I truly cherish yet sadly do not happen near as much as in the days gone by.
Thanks Kat I love these videos. I love how you left your camera/computer unattended we got to see precious Dalton exclusively fora few minutes. He is so well behaved and so handsome🙏🥰 see you guys soon on your next videos
Cat! Thank you bunches for sharing your knowledge with us. I found my first Limoges Raynaud France tea cup. When I picked it up I had no idea that it was Limoges. Just that is was from France and beautiful to me. I've been scouring the internet to find more about it. No luck yet. Thanks again for sharing with us.
Thank you so much for all of your videos! I have learned so much. I would never have thought a teacup or teapot or dollhouse furniture would be worth so much!!! I would also love it if you did a video on navigating poshmark. I tried it but I was quickly overwhelmed responding to all of the welcomes and people favoriting my listing.
I love your channel! (Retired part-time RN here thinking that this might be might be my new part-time job) - I was at Goodwill today and I almost shrieked a little bit out loud when I flipped over the vase in my hand and it was an Aynsley! it comped at $16 ~oh well I only paid 3$ lol😁
I don't know if you missed it but jn regards to the Dainty blue tea cup by Shelley and saucer also sold for that much with 6 plates..it was mentioned on the listing itself as you were showing it. Great video😊
i am just melting I am enjoying this so much..thank you for all the effort...just to see them...that alone is wonderful. So glad even the base priced ones are better now and that a beautiful pottery mug went in there. To me...they just are not going to remake most of these and you simply have a small wonderful example of china..that gets older and older and rarer and rarer and you can get less expensive fancy ones to really use..it just is so great that they are coming back. Your son is so beautiful..that hair...and cute and fun...and so good...I loved his hello..lol. I adore any teapot/ teacup/mug/even china sets and patterns at any price point...I want nice china to come back. Thanks ever so much...what a wonderful thing to do before bed.
I'd like to think that if I ever came across one of those chrysanthemum sets for cheap, I'd buy it and resell it on ebay for big bucks. But....I know I'd keep it. LOL

Hi Kat, I sold my Paragon tea cup saucer with cabbage roses for 465.00. I bought 5 sets tea cup & saucers, Shelly, Paragon, Wedgewood and few others, sold the lot for approximately 1000.00.
Oh my, I have 4 sets of Jane Ray. I better get going. I have 50 tubs full of wonderful stuff, overwhelmed, need to get on the right track with my Ebay store. Probably have 30 sets of tea cups and saucers. Yikes, so behind!
Can you do a video about the business side of selling? Like cataloging your items so you can find them. How you do the taxes for selling. How you keep track of how much you spent, sold, and profited amount. It would benefit a beginner like me. THANK YOU!!!
I might do a updated one, but I do have one on how they are all put away here ruclips.net/video/atQsVAt_I_M/видео.html . I also have several about taxes, but as far as taxes, tracking etc I do not do any tracking I do accounting by money in money out method and pay an accountant monthly for bookkeeping.

Hello, new to you channel and love it! I have question my mother in 1947 for her wedding received a service for 12 of odd plates and cups and saucers to match. Each setting is different and some of them are exactly what you have shown. Is there anyway I could send you a photo of what I have? Thank you Oh I do have the plate cup and saucer just like the ansley roses with the black background exactly like the one you showed.
Unfortunately I don't have time to help all those that ask (I get a ton of requests) I would try google lens app or look up the name and pattern on eBay to get current values
Nice video. I am learning a lot about vintage bone china. I sold this month two sets of tea cup and saucer. One set sold for $125 + $20 shipping, and another set from different maker sold for $65 + $14.99 shipping. I still have two more vintage sets listed on eBay.
I have collected and sold many hundreds of cups and saucers over the years. It is important to note that the prices fluctuate incredibly over the years. I have sold Shelley cup and saucers for over $2000 in the 90's. now, the same one would sell for about $300. So, saving them will often not increase the price over time. if it sells well now, you should consider selling it and finding another rare set to replace it. as with many collectibles, condition and rare backstamps can make the price skyrocket. there are also many reproductions out there, if it looks too good to be true, it likely is worth little. I bought a full service for 8 of Shelley Dainty Mauve for $300 in the 90's and sold it for $16,000, that has been my biggest china score but packing and shipping was a nightmare. Just a little tidbit for those looking for higher priced Paragon sets, if they are marked with Queen Mary as the patron on the back....they are the older, rarer sets. You work hard and sharing what you are learning is wonderful, all the best to you

I just recently realized there are 2 similar makers in England: Aynsley and Royal Ainsley.
Enjoyed. Can’t imagine anyone paying that much for one cup and saucer!
