1st wanna say thank you I've learned so much. I came back from big city and a great job to take care of my parents until they passed away and and then the pandemic hit and I needed to start making money and I've been slowly slowly slowly slowly learning
You rock!!! I appreciate all your time sharing, how to be successful, on eBay!! Just started, an eBay account,, trying to learn, and set up my back office. I want to hit it hard, and seriously, did it back in the 90’s to 2004, was very successful…. But trying to learn the new back office,,,, a whole new curve. Setting goals and setting days to work the business,,, thanks again!!
HI Kat, Informative, as always. Glad you have the talent to find and flip items to make this a successful business. Glad you could go full time, to spend more time with your family. I personally look for "buy it now" items, and don't find many. I am not good with bidding on items and keeping up that way. Just curious if you go to Haven Hospice Thrift Shop there in Chiefland. I occasionally go there. Sometimes I find things, other times not so much. Always enjoy watching. Many thanks.
I stopped going when they raised their prices like 6 months ago. I made a video about it. They used to be my favorite store, but now I don't go. I went in one other time after I said I wasn't going back and found the prices were still ridiculous
A lot of damaged pieces sell high. I've come across quite a few on worhtpoint. You need rare pieces that people can't find without damage or offer them at a significantly lower price than non damaged
I really love your content. I only stumbled across your channel yesterday. Your opening statement on Profit VS Sales...was PERFECT!! I didn't know you were a mind reader too. Lol
Thanks for another great video! For art I have had very good luck with boxes from Home Depot that measure 30x24x5. They’re pretty affordable but you can only get them by ordering. Try them out!
Hi Kat, I just discovered your channel. You are very informative a give the "regular Joe or Jane" confidence to maybe start our own store. We have a long way to go, as far as learning the ropes. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos !
These videos are so helpful. I watched the 2 on brooches and pins, found a pin the next day that I bought based purely on the information from your series for $3 at an auction. Haven’t sold it yet but the comps indicated at least a $150 profit. Thank you 🙏
Great video Kat. Question, Do you promote and or run markdown sales? I will never get to your leve, don't want to, but would like to raise what I am selling. Thank you so much for all the great info you share.
i have finally figured out the like button problem. if people don't watch your video in its entirety, you tube removes there "like". I binge watch and i bounce around alot-if I have something going on, etc. I will watch later. I always wondered why my "like was gone" so today I went in and out of my regular notifications and in and out of regular you tube viewing videos, it does this with all. I thought, how dare they remove my like. it's my like!! I'm a very unhappy you tube viewer and i will let them know!!
Some great info, as always! On the tiger wood bubble frames, do you ship them the same as flat glass pieces? I have a matching pair with needlepoint florals in them that I’ve hesitated to list until I know for sure how to ship that glass.
hello, just discovered your videos yesterday and have already watched several. I appreciate your passing along your knowledge, as you've mentioned you too learn from others and paying it forward keeps the good going round. Question: on most of the listings featured here that you indicate you accepted offers, the sold price shown was higher than the offer amount you said you accepted. This concerns me for looking up sold comps in general. Do you know why your accepted offer price differs from the sold price shown? Many thanks again!

I have a a few questions, I'm not sure if you sell DVD's or if you maybe know somebody who does, but I just won a huge lot of DVDs with one of my local auctions, do you actually go in and open up every single one and check them to make sure they work? What do you recommend? It just seems very time consuming and not worth selling them, if that's the case, but I definitely don't want negative feedback, so what do you usually do? Also I got a entire sealed DVD lot, but most of them are loose in the package, should I open them too? And finally what about LP's are people buying them untested? I won a lot of them too, good ones, but I see a lot of scratches and stuff on them? Are they junk, or should I try and sell them? Do I need to buy a cheap record player to test these too? I don't see how I'm ever going to test all these, and if I do, it's going to take forever? So is it even worth my time? So far I'm doing good with sales, but the actual time I put in by myself, I starting to feel like I'm not getting paid for all the time I put in.. I've been mostly sell vintage items, but sourcing them storing them, cleaning them measuring them, calculating the shipping cost & taking pictures editing the pictures and researching and writting descriptions for them..just takes so much of my time.. so how do you do it? How do you manage to balance all of that? What do you recommend to make things easier for me? Thanks so much! I really enjoy listening and learning from your videos!
I was just watching you talk about cashmere blankets from Scotland. Are vintage cashmere sweaters from Scotland worth anything? I have several from 40s and 50s that are still in the original package. Haven't found any information on them. Thanks for any info you share.
