If you go to Ocho Rios on your next vacation, you can take the knutsford bus to Kingston and it takes you to the New Kingston section of Kingston. The drive on the highway is extremely STUNNING! The highway goes from sea level up to 2000 feet and back down again to sea level when you get to Kingston.
Kingston is surrounded by mountains on 3 sides. It is a very beautiful city and it has some of the best restaurants in the country!

I think he said he’s been trying for 6 yrs because of the route Africans have to take to get to the Caribbean and Vice Versa. Most flights got through the US or Europe. These countries do not give Africans or Caribbean peoples visa to transit to the Caribbean/Africa. That’s the reason he had to go through Brazil, Suriname, Panama, Dominican Republic, Barbados then Jamaica. It is truly frustrating that everyone else can get a 10 hr flight to NY then get to Jamaica while Africans or people from the Caribbean have to go through several countries, which take over a day to get to and from Africa and the Caribbean. The effort to keep us apart is just so blatant.

Longtime, nice seeing you guys again, I don’t know why I haven’t received notifications whenever you guys uploaded, but I guess it’s because you’re referring to my homeland why I got this one. First I must say, no matter where tourists goes in Jamaica they are safe, because they know for sure tourists is apart of our economy, whenever an outsider gets hurt is because they got mixed up in criminal activities which rarely happens. Besides what social media shows about Jamaica is far more beyond that. They showed the north end of the island and the ghettos in Kingston but don’t show the real Jamaica. Jamaica has the most mansions and upscales communities in the Caribbean, Jamaicans are very boastful and take pride in where they lived no matter the lowest incomes. Jamaica welcomes everyone no matter your nationality. They will go extra miles to make their guests comfortable. As for the names of streets named after other Caribbean islands. Jamaica did that to show love, there are other places named after some African countries as well and also in Some African countries like Senegal named a place there name Jamaica to show love to us. Note, Jamaica and Jamaicans are humbled and will never hurt you if you don’t hurt them. Thanks for showing love to my country.

Its not for tourists, its a residential area. Its not for vacation, but for residents in Jamaica to live. If they want to stay there, they can make use of the hotels, however, leave the residents alone. There is already enough pricing out happening and rent has skyrocketed due to Airbnb. Hi guys... really liked your reactions to the video of Jamaica... also just a recommendation if you do decide to visit... you should take 3 days out of your vacation just for Portland, Jamaica...lol.. the natural Beauty there is absolutely immense...and with so many different hidden gems....i'd advise if you do go there to have a reputable guide with you and capture the beauty and live in the moment at the same time.... on another note as it relates to safety jamaicans do not normally interfere with tourists in a negative manner... but due diligence is to be followed to keep yourselves safe as with most other places and there are some places even us locals would not advise anyone to visit without just cause.... Jamaica usually gets hit with a US travel advisory whenever a Jamaican policy...social or political agenda does not fit in with US interests... but politics aside ....be safe always...Respect.

There are many public beaches all over Jamaica. All beaches are free in Jamaica as long as you can access them. However, you can’t access private properties from the beach. Some public beaches make a small charge which goes towards the maintenance and cleaning of the beaches, otherwise they would be very messy. Major tourist attractions such as Dunn’s River Falls charge an entrance fee to tourists but Jamaicans can enter at a greatly reduced price. Most such attractions always have a reduced price for locals - Jamaican citizens, which is fair enough because the disposable income for most Jamaicans is a lot less than for most visitors.

“Ackee is a safe food to eat if prepared properly and is good for you. It is an unsaturated fat, and has additional health benefits through its high protein content, being a good source of vitamins B and C, zinc, calcium and fibre," reports the National Institutes of Health.

regarding the water fall which is called Dunn's River Falls it was transformed into a climbing entity By a Man Name Ivan JEWBOY Rose in about 1960, he use various elements such as logs and sand bags to enhance parts of the falls to create pools and improve climbing. The former owners granted him the authority to operate climbing of the falls which created value because he charged a fee to tour the falls and when the property was entrusted to the government and they found out about Ivan's Thriving operation he was forced out and the revenues accumulated by him was taken...He did not receive proper acknowledgement for his contribution to the development of Jamaica's most famous tourist attraction. Book coming.....

@@zidane8452the capitalist system is design to extract your wealth, whether that be raw materials, people, agriculture etc. The capitalist system depends on the suppression of the Caribbean, south and Central America. The US tell Jamaica that they cannot export THC, only America can. America tell Jamaica that THC transactions will not go thru the US banking system. Every country in this hemisphere banks have to go thru NY banking system. So you can read into that any way you want. Countries in the Caribbean and South America getting developed with the help from China does not sit well for the U$ capitalist system. The U$ capitalist system is built on extraction of wealth. If you are unable to extract wealth from developing countries, then that is a problem.

@@zidane8452 Because strategically they don’t want Jamaica to become aligned with communist or socialist forms of government being that our island is the most influential not just in the Caribbean culturally through a wide range of things including Rastafarian belief, music, food, sports… They would rather keep Jamaica in a state of dependency through hope of development. While China came in and manifest that hope to reality!! So now they rather throw salt on the name, reputation, and tourism business like a hateful ex…its geopolitical fuckry

@@ShawnProfilewell the US and UK have been sitting back hoping Jamaica would go the same way as Haiti, little do they know that Jamaicans are made of sturdy stuff, bad mindedness don't sway Jamaicans, the more they throw the acid at a Jamaican the speedier he/ she will move to avoid it. They are trying so hard to sink a country that is very blessed along with its people. Just watch those haters crumble in the near future.❤❤❤

BEACHES; about 10% of the beaches are at ALL INCLUSIVES in Jamaica and are private. The rest are open including many publicly maintained beaches. It is not RIGHT but it is a compromise Jamaicans have had to make to the tourist industry. Jamaica does have a crime problem at certain spots but the crime does not affect the tourist areas. You can travel across the entire island without fear as I and many have done including WodeMaya whoes video you were just watching. We were shocked when the US put the island under a watch list knowing very well that many major cities in the US are far more dangerous than Jamaica.(including a Super Bowl parade)
