I get chills when I hear "He must not be allowed to use that weapon, all other concerns are secondary" and "All Hands Battlestations" with that echo and epic music. Sounds so awesome and I love this scene!
Man, I remember the day I first saw this scene. My best friend had passed away the day before, I was very raw, emotional. Star Trek was always a source of inspiration and joy to me, and I just couldn't help myself, I burst into tears seeing this. Especially when the TNG theme crept in; that was all it took...
Not the greatest Star Trek film, but I do like the story this one tells and it does have its share of awesome moments such as this! And Jerry Goldsmiths final Star Trek score is awesome! I only wish this movie gave all the other characters a chance to shine!
Romulan (and Reman) warbirds run on singularities, nothing like Klingon ships a hundred years earlier. Those stupid torpedoes wouldn't have had any effect on a standard warbird; let alone a Reman superweapon.
Laziness or throwback to the show? Look at any dorsal picture of the E and tell me the nacelles wouldn’t be dominating the field of view. This is like the only actual briefing in the TNG films. I like the discussion and speech, but i prefer the log entry.
Im gonna take a stab here: “I wait for the door”, does it mean something to the effect of “I am waiting for the enemy on the other side of that door to attack/commence battle”?
Even Explorers must defend themselves and their Home Nations against Threats too great to ignore. And not every situation can be resolved by Negotiation alone. Sometimes you must Fight, and when you do; you had best know How.
Next to Star Trek 2, 4, 6, 8 is nemesis one of the best. You have to know that all Movies with even Number are good Movies. The others are not so important, and I know this, because I have seen all Movies
| The Sovereign Class was developed for deep space exploration initially. However, with the increasing threat of the Dominion presence Starfleet took her advanced systems and adapted them to the Defiant Class tactical specifications. This included a heavy armament of quantum torpedoes. She fulfills both roles as a deep space explorer and Ship of the Line.
@@SKINWALKER The Sovereign class was designed while the Borg threat was still very real. As a result it had far more design space dedicated to combat ability than was standard for a Federation cruiser. It had those quantum torpedoes when it was first commissioned, it used them in the Battle of Sector 001. In addition to the heavy armament, it was also designed with the same advanced bio-neural gel pack based computers as Voyager. It was actually far more advanced in every way than the Defiant class. The only tech the Defiant had that the Soveriegn didn't was the ablative armor and the borrowed cloaking device of the OG Defiant. The refit did significantly beef up it's weaponry but it only added more of what was there.
Stratrek Logic 101, hes going after earth, even when earth did nothing to him. Earth didnt steal his DNA, Earth didnt grow him as a clone, earth didnt enslave and torture him. Every villain in Start Trek has earth as Target. Borg, Dominion, Shinzon. Why? Yeah, Star Trek Logic.

Me too!
Can't believe nemesis turns 20

What a speech
Giving the people what they really want. A militarized star trek.

It's so disappointing, that the music isn't in the official album! I think that this would have a star mark in Apple Music.

Nah. I don't like when there's too much fighting in ST. We've got Star Wars for that.

It's the greatest in the franchise. Best performances, best story, and best VFX. Not to mention the score is brilliant.

It is certainly a good movies, but I’d still call 2 and 6 the Best, respectively. This one might be 3rd best.
I wonder if there are families on th E
No time for that in the films.. So they turned it into more tactical battleship. The E is the last of the Enterprises to hold flagship status
I hope not. Star Fleet needs more tactical ships for obvious reasons.

Bro you must have thought this was a Fast and the Furious clip. If you want constant brainless action don't watch Star Trek, try a Michael Bay movie.
