Hyundai, Kia thefts dropping compared to last year, analysis finds

Compared to October 2022, December 2023 auto theft numbers are 31% lower for all vehicles, and 46% lower for Kia and Hyundai brands specifically.

Let’s not forget this is true only because about half have already been stolen, and the ones left are pretty much the ones in nice neighborhoods or garages.
