I thought I'd miss Dale Jr driving more than I do and I was and am upset about everything that happened, but he made the right decision for sure and him being in the booth and so involved with the sport is amazing. He loves racing so much and there's no way he can understand just how important he is to the sport. The importance of his continued involvement with the sport cannot be overstated. To me and a large percentage of fans, he is the voice and face of Nascar. As long as he remains in broadcasting and ownership, and all the things he does to better the sport, then all is well.

Anybody else besides me miss when NASCAR ran REAL cars? Honest to God. I was watching clips from the good ole days when we had Ford Torino’s, Superbirds, Chevy Monte Carlos, etc. I’m sorry, but NASCAR has become the WWE of auto racing. I really miss the good ole days.
Dale is saying car is "Tight" with rack & pinion which "I personally like" because u can get through & out of wreck's faster with no lag, very twitchy, Shake & Bake like. I also like the comentator she is pretty and kinda know's what she is talking about 😍
But one more thing I also forgot to mention sir is that when you let the air out of these tires you're going to get more grip so you have a dilemma there on tire adjustment as far as pressure goes is the wing adjustable still or not?

I dont think them ole tricks will still work on the new car. Can't mess with jets like the could the old carburetors. Or better yet the back windows opening to change the air over the car. Its a little tougher these days.
They used to race 450 at Daytona and Talladega, they're using a 610 Package at other tracks this year which is great news, considering cars during the best era IMO (1999-2008) dyno'd around 650hp.
Restrictor plates always reduced hp to around that level since they were introduced in 1988, so this isn't new at all. Thankfully, it's no longer 550 for all other tracks (which was, indeed, slowcar)
