There should never be a situation in which the winner of a race is determined by an administrative decision such as: when the caution was initiated. It should always be settled by who gets to the line first

    • @alemarion

So if a huge accident were to occur just past the finish line but before Turn 1, would you still have the remaining drivers race back to the line?
Now if it happens in Turn 4, that'd be a different story, because you have nearly the whole track to slow down.
It's annoying when a race ends under caution, but to always race back to the line would create a big concern from a safety standpoint. Would you have certain exceptions to this rule?

It's funny they have no problem creating conditions where Larson basically gets catapulted into the wall like he's a Looney Tunes character, basically looks like a missles bouncing off a building, but racing to the line and slowing over a full mile after is a safety concern. So dumb and hypocritical

Great 500, loved the pre race celebration of NASCAR's 75th anniversary, but man, yall dropped the ball on coverage. This needs to be fixed. Less ads, more side by side, or better yet, AD FREE! Or just have ads during caution periods, you guys are better than that.

It's pretty crazy slower teammates are allowed to intentionally slow down and wreck the field behind their other cars ahead of them to give them a better chance. Just how low is nascar gonna get? And still never fixed those cars? They still spin so easily and wreck everyone else with them.

@midblossomfilms it's still circuit racing so after 10 laps I'm watching guys do the same thing even if there's little twirls, don't see how as a standalone concept that's that much more interesting. F1 is basically 20 spread out individual time trials with little interaction between the drivers after the first lap or so. Oval is about racing other cars/drivers first and the track second which to me is much more interesting. Nascar is dumb and youre right about all that artificialness to it. not defending them just the concept of oval racing
