It is very scared, but has slowly allowed me to put my hand in the cage without totally panicking. I'm going to use the next steps with feeding and the stick to hopefully get him/her to trust be a bit more. Thanks so much!

Can you tell me the reason?but please can you answer me on RUclips because i dont have insta
Yea hii this Is Ear... Because sometimes you may have scared them unknowingly... Like trying to touching them or holding them... If your cockatiel eats from ur hands then its a good sign.. That u can tame easily... Just be patient enough..
This video works just have patience even if it takes you longer than what the video says. I had made all the “mistakes” like buying from a pet store , buying a pair (they tend to bond with each other and not you) and they were both at least 1 year old. I was already at the point that I was gonna buy a baby cockatiel and only really bond with that one but, now they get closer to eat , don’t fear or mind rubbing their heads with my hand and even pet them a little. Patience is key even if it takes you longer to get there don’t give up. Update: One of them now sits in my hand to eat and is becoming more calm each time.
Hi I bought 2 cocktails 12th Nov they r so afraid of me and my family members can u give us some tips...because I'm a begginer..actually it came out of the cage and my family members caught it..plz give some solutions for this..
Yes training two cockatiels is not an easy job it requires a lot of patience and time, dont disturb them until tmrw, for further details you can inquire me on insta. Follow these steps you cam train them
Millet should only be used as a treat and never left in cage make sure your cockatiel gets plenty of vegetables fruit as feeding it seed all the time is not good for its diet and can cause issues

Hello, when cockatiels bite your hand, dont try to move, keep your hands steady in the cage..Once your cockatiel gains trust that this hands will nt harm me, it will stop biting you.

I bought one young male cockatiel bro. My bird is not hand tammed. Can we tam it. but Another shop keeper told v can't tam the bird now. V need to train it from birth. Please reply me.
yes we need to train cockatiels from birth, but to overcome this odds i tried to train mike...it is not impossible to train a adult cockatiel but by patience you can..i have made a video on cockatiels for beginners do check it you will get a clear idea...my suggestion is better return this cockatiel and buy a hand tamed one

Hi how is your Mike cockatiel doing? Nice video.👍 I have a male cockatiel , he is 10 months old. I want to get a partner for him. Is this right age for a partner for him? How should I choose the right aged female cockatiel?
you can get a partner of the same age either 10 months old or of lesser age..dont buy a elder cockatiel because then less chance of pairing
I have 2 cockatiels one of them male and the other female/ this is 2 months i am feeding them but still they are not tamed!the female cockatiel is comming on my hand and eating on my hand but she doesnt trust me !
@@eugeineashwinrajs3201 oh thank You
Can I keep single cocktail
yes u can with a lot of toys and also u must spend some time with ur bird
This video works just have patience even if it takes you longer than what the video says. I had made all the “mistakes” like buying from a pet store , buying a pair (they tend to bond with each other and not you) and they were both at least 1 year old. I was already at the point that I was gonna buy a baby cockatiel and only really bond with that one but, now they get closer to eat , don’t fear or mind rubbing their heads with my hand and even pet them a little. Patience is key even if it takes you longer to get there don’t give up.
Update: One of them now sits in my hand to eat and is becoming more calm each time.
Thanks so much, for this valuable comment
Hi I bought 2 cocktails 12th Nov they r so afraid of me and my family members can u give us some tips...because I'm a begginer..actually it came out of the cage and my family members caught it..plz give some solutions for this..
Yes training two cockatiels is not an easy job it requires a lot of patience and time, dont disturb them until tmrw, for further details you can inquire me on insta.
Follow these steps you cam train them
@@EARTHEBIRDTRAINER ok thank u😊
Millet should only be used as a treat and never left in cage make sure your cockatiel gets plenty of vegetables fruit as feeding it seed all the time is not good for its diet and can cause issues
What is the cage size
I have a 9 month old female and 8 month old male Cockatiel. First we brought her home and 1 week later we brought a male cockatiel. She always screams loudly and comes to bite sometimes. I hand feed them both. Then she comes to eat. But after a while when I go to touch her, she screams in fear and comes to bite. It will be 1 month since she was brought.
He enjoy playing and making different sounds but sometimes she beats him what could be the reason behind her behavior? Please reply.
Thank you
Hello this is a normal behavior don't worry biting one another is common
@@EARTHEBIRDTRAINER Thank You ☺️ Could you tell me why is she so aggressive and doesn't get along. She doesn't play and is always scared.
