You can really appreciate the level of effort and intensity on the defensive side of the game pre-2010. Guys are basically asleep unless they get to do a fancy dirbble move or take a shot from 30 feets in today's game. It's disgusting.
What I love about these old school vault videos is showing how basically everyone was physical in their own way of shaping their identities. Im nit a Celtics or Lakers fan .. but truth be told the more i look back at it.. the more i see that the Lakers were sooo frustrated at Celtics and would turn into blood thirsty goblins against especially Bird. Wowza .. only adds to Birds cred even muCH more. .wow..
