ALL of gigabyte's z690 and z790 boards have been trash with ddr5 ram compatibility for the past 3 years. Not to mention the numerous audio issues that they still haven't fixed on their gaming X motherboards. People should avoid any motherboard made by gigabyte.
All of Gigabyte's boards? Does that Include the ones you've not used and thus have zero data on? Either way, this being my opinion on the Tachyon X. How is yours where audio is concerned?
This board is not that good actually. For that price you can get an Asus ROG encore. I am far from an Asus fan but its better than Gigacrap.. I have bad experience with them and especially their customer support, wichis non existend, so i cannot recommend Gigabyte to anyone at this point.
Have you used this board in particular? I have used both Tachyon X and Apex Encore and it's objectively untrue that the ROG encore is better. Sorry you had a bad experience with GIGABYTE, but that's not been my experience in the least. However, if you're happy with ASUS, continue to buy ASUS.
13th and 14th gen are dead
Not to the thousands who still have the boards, systems and CPUs it's not. Besides still loads of fun to OC
