Oksana might have not being technically a strong skater but her art and beauty on the ice exceeded all and was superbly beautiful. Her artistic skills were superior to any other skater! She was exquisite and unique on the ice and no one else ever in the future will be like Oksana Baiul. Love you Oksana, you were the greatest of all skaters and like you there will be no one else. after seeing an earlier version of Oksana with her 1996 performance to "the Feeling Begins" and then comparing it with this. I like the 1996 version better with her complete outfit and her choreography including the elements. This revised program is certainly no better than the original program she started with. I think it is quite incomplete.
IMHO she should've/could've won three Olympic golds and been the best ever in the games' history. But ... "if ands, ifs, and buts were candies and nuts ..."
every time i am watching this to save pictures of her butt, and my imaginary friend Crispy sees it, he goes out and buys some skates and harem-girl pants and ends up getting brought home in an ambulance with both ankles f'd up. and has to spend weeks using his gramma's walker. he never learns.

Oksana was Olympic champion, yes, but IMO, the quality of her skating declined steadily after that gold medal. She had trouble acclimating to the disciplined world of professional skating; she became erratic and inconsistent. I can not recall a clean program after the Olympics. In the shows, the promoters loved to emphasize her sexuality instead of her artistry and technique. This program is artistic, yes; but it does seem rather forced from my view as a spectator. For artistry, my vote goes to Sasha Cohen; Cohen had unmatched beauty, style, grace. Cohen also was not consistent, but her 'Malaguena ' short program far surpasses anything of Baiul's. Cohen also was not an excuse-maker and we never heard of drunkenness,etc. These comments are all IMHO.

This skating performance, at least to me, seems more emphasis was put into all her moves relating to the theme of her routine than actually skating
