@Kevin Wittwer that really says it all about the Jubilee. I knew Bonamassa used them years ago, but didn't know he still uses them - I'm not surprised though as the Jubilee is one of the best Marshall's I've used.. and I've played many. Thanks for the info!

Have them all. Master needs to be set at 7 minimum to hear the Marshall roar guys… then it is a game changer, sort of completely different amp meaning more bass, more gain and saturation. The sound becomes a Marshall sound that way!

Gotta give you guys praise. You still make some of the best amps out there. I've had my JCM2000 for 12 years now, and it's been a beast. DSL50 from the mid 2000s, I think.
Can't resist the classic roar of the 800, that's just THE Marshall tone of the 80s for me 🤟 Beautiful cleans as well! 900 second IMO. The Jubilee albeit a great and versatile amp is not exactly my cup of tea among these three. Thanks for the settings used and killer tones and chops as usual 👍
to me, they all sound almost equal. Though for clean, I lean more towards the 900, and dirt tones either jcm 800 or 900. (when they working properly). I believe that's the jcm 900 with el34s. mine came with 5881 tubes, but I modded it to take the el34s, though tbh I didn't really notice a difference. there was probably a slight difference, but because I didn't record it before and after, I didn't have some ab test to do. I thought I would have been able to tell. Did change it back when the el34s went a few years later.
You can really hear the top end shine in the 800 and the extra low end and smoother sustain in the jubilee!! The 900 has a big mid push (at least at these settings). Great video! I know other videos exist for these on this channel, but maybe a comparison of all three of the 20 watt/5 watt heads for the 800, Jubilee, and Plexi "against" their 100 watt counterpart might be fun :)
I have a 6L6 loaded 900 Dual Reverb 50w, I don't shred I play simple pop and skate punk so 3 chords, raking, and a lot of palm muting and it works really well for that and then I throw a Wampler Triumph or Mosky Silver Horse on top and it kicks it up a notch more 👍. I also play a Tele and an SG and the settings don't really have to be moved around
The attack and clear/punchy overdrive in the 800 is pure magic! All 3 are surely great if adjusted to preferred taste 🤟🏼 I have a TSL100 and the versatility in it is just awesome, off course with the magic sound of Marshall 👊🏼😁
