Belinda, you made me cry! I can't believe you gave me a shout out, particularly one so kind. Thank you so much. I very seldom comment on channels, but your channel was different. Let me tell you why. On day one your friendly inclusive approach encouraged me to ask you for help with my brand new hobby. It was a very cheap doll and a stupid question. Not only did you reply and give that help, but you also made my question sound valid (I wanted to cut the doll's head open). You even made a later video showing exactly how to put doll eyes in from the front which was the answer to my question. And that's you. You really do care about the individual people who watch your videos, not just the numbers. That's rare. You're also informative, passionate, and fun. Lots and lots and lots of fun! So, Jagged sister, as long as you make the videos, I'll be there! On to today's dolls... All three have the looks. The body of the male is exactly the same as a mega cheap (£4.00) Ken doll I recently bought. It's such a pity that they also cut costs with too little hair (which I hate) and such sub-standard fabrics, which must be as difficult as hell to sew. They'd be better putting the extra money into the doll and selling better clothes separately IMHO You couldn't give them to a child to play with. Well, maybe the little one. I agree with the other commenter about getting hair to stand up. I don't know if you get it in the USA but I've used Wella - Ultra Strong Power Hold (Amazon here has it in small spray cans for just over £1.00) to good effect. I pin or catch the very ends with tape against a vertical card for the first spray and hold until it's dry. I have tried gel too, but it really seems to attract dust. Thanks again. Hugs!

I liked all the dolls but my fave had to be the little girl one she is so cute, I look at her and think I could make really nice clothes for her and she would photograph well to also a very good price for a doll with inset eyes thanks for another great video ^___^

I got the shirt at Target in the Men's department. I hate the skinny fit of women tshirts. like we are all supposed to be Barbie's size...I'm more of a curvy Barbie. LOL. I like that they use the word, "curvy", makes me feel sizzling hot instead of just pudgy, which doesn't sound sizzling anything. Thanks for the compliments. After the video, I got to thinking about it and thought the same thing. So I went and pulled up my orders. Actually the thing I put around her neck was supposed to go in her hair and the beads are a necklace. I am not sure how to get it around her neck without untying it. With my luck, the beads will go everywhere. Going to try again to get her head off. The bracelets were also meant for her hair. Might help it stand up. We buy these dolls and do makeovers for our customers. Since we buy so many, I thought it would be cool to show others what the dolls are really like. Not all dolls on Aliexpress have reviews and it is way more fun to watch my video than just read a couple of reviews someone randomly wrote. 😊😁 How do you know the reviews aren't fake? Im so tempted to buy my first BJD fro Aliexpress but it can be so confusing. Its hard to tell do they come with Hair? or eyes? what size eyes should i get if they dont? I know stuff takes a while to come a d it would stink to wait a long time and to not get what you want. Thanks for the unboxings
It's not as hard as it seems and most shops have very friendly people who answer your questions quickly. Read through everything before purchasing and if you still don't find what you are looking for, send the shop a message. I do it all the time. Just make is short and to the point because they are pretty busy. Thanks for watching and good luck with your first BJD. It really doesn't take that long to get most of the dolls from Aliexpress. There are great buys to be found 😀

Hi Marie, thanks for the review of these Chinese dolls. Are you like me? Do you find the plastic they used in the manufacturing of these dolls reminiscent of the plastics that Hong Kong used in the 60s through to the 1981?
The only differences in today's plastic is the colours. They have a more realistic look to them, as the moulds are better

The older Barbie dolls were made out of so many different plastics that is hard for me to say I prefer it. Today most Barbie dolls are made out of polyvinyl chloride. I do like the plastic the MTM Barbie dolls are made out of and I know the plastic is less toxic than what was used in the 60s thru 80s. 14:03 I think that ring you thought was a bracelet/necklace was actually supposed to go around her hair bun. Also, if you have a metal chopstick/rod and a hair straightener you can fix the braided loops. However test the hair to make sure it's heat compatible first. Could probably test on the short hairs. Love the design of the dress, not so much the fabric, think your right about how flimsy the material is.

8:30: It probably is more of a rose gold but on AliExpress they call it pink champagne. The colors are so closely related it is hard to say. I'm sticking with pink champagne not because it is correct but because I just like champagne.
14:03: You are correct, the bracelets were meant to go in her hair. One for each round braid. I tied down one braid overnight and now it looks almost perfect. Thanks for the suggestions though, I really appreciate it.

She's not feeling well so I'll reply for her. She told me to say that she just searches AliExpress for the best deals. She doesn't buy from any specific stores really. Although she does like Ucanaan but they sell jointed/articulated dolls but not string dolls.
