I want to move a game or install it in a different folder but in the same drive (C:/Games) i already added it as a new library folder but it wont show me the "Move install folder" option, and it wont also show me the option to to install the game to a different location
Hi thx for info. But I'm not to technical. I have many steam games on old win 10 hdd and want to put each game into a new ssd. How to do that? Then I guess I put USB into win 11. so how do I play the games that are in external ssd on new laptop win 11?
The trouble is you get errors like ''the folder must be empty'' and Move install folder" option, and it wont also show me the option to to install the game to a different location! Sorry not simple at all.
Hey brother. This was super informative. I have a question about one of your previous videos about not being able to update to the latest windows 10 version. it appears i do not have the latest driver audio driver you spoke about . Can you recommend a place to get it? I have a toshiba satellite C55t-C5300
Glad it was helpful. I'd always recommend the manufacturer site as first place, and be super careful from anywhere else. I found drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOUND-CARD/Conexant/Toshiba-Satellite-C55T-C5300-Conexant-Audio-Driver-8-66-14-50-for-Windows-10-64-bit.shtml and support.dynabook.com/support/driversOSResults?freeText=1200011316 which seem to offer the latest. Good luck.

if i follow this will it transfer the games to new PC at the point i left off at
will this work on moving to new computer with win 11
When I did it a notification came up that said folder must be empty
yeah i got the same notification
So dumb you have to do every game individually, they should add a migrate all function.
