This is amazing work! Sounds are spectacular! Quality is impeccable! But most importantly, the story is stupendous and I find it hard to believe that there are SFM films that aren't just dumb TF2 stories. This is a great Half-Life video that revolves around the aliens that HECU were dealing with. I have three ideas for future videos... well, at least the end for them that has the final battle of HECU, the Xenians, Race X, and Black Operations. The end could be Gordon Freeman killing the Nihilanth which stops Xen from being able to gain access to Earth, and finally have the Black Mesa Research Facility be blown to smithereens by the thermonuclear bomb the Black Operations armed in the facility (that Adrian disarmed it, however Government Man re-armed it because he felt that the facility and what happened was an "embarrassment)". Another idea for the end of a different video would be to have Adrian Shepard (an HECU Marine, who you play as in "Half-Life Opposing Force") fight against the Gene Worm (a Race X creature that the Shock Troopers summoned to Earth to conquer the world (because Gene Worm has the power to terraform an entire planet)). Killing Gene Worm most likely resulted in Race X retreating back to their homeworld because they probably knew they couldn't handle the humans alone. One more would be to have another character (perhaps, that Daniel guy who was in the real early films?) have a fight against the Xenian leader, Kingpin on Earth. Going by the possibility that Kingpin was still alive after Nihilanth's death so either the protagonist loses or Kingpin retreats. Then again. I'm not making the films, you are! Keep making amazing films! (by the way, these are just my ideas, not requests. It's also to give you more input on the story)

This can’t be covered up by Nuke and pretend nothing happened. How all the will the Technology and Research be preserved? To fight against the Combine?
@@Girard1020 one of the other reasons why they killed them is because of the risk of contamination. that's why alot of the HECU soldiers had gas masks. they didn't want an unknown plague spreading all over the place. I don't think that they cared about the tech because well that's just our stupid goverment. I don't think that very many people knew about the combine at the time either.
Thaddian Gaming AGREED Thaddian. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all video game machinima/lore/story telling. But it seems to me so many people are obsessed with TF2 when it comes to SFM. I like the cute style of the game sure, but let's face it, there wouldn't even be a TF2 if it weren't for Half Life and the Black Mesa story, I'm utterly shocked that there aren't twice the number of BM SFM videos out there. It is like creating a pixar animation without the hassle of creating the characters.... and it has a much brighter feel while Black Mesa is a dark vibe. apart of me also feels like maybe it is an age thing? I noticed a good amount of our squad members are around ages 24 and up, which would mean that most of the people introduced to gaming were from the Doom/Quake/Half Life 1 era, as opposed to.... god knows what? I have a cousin born in 2000, so he's 15 and he has no clue nor interest about Half Life at all, and yet he loves TF2 and all these other silly games that are spawned directly or influenced from it... cheers to the young ones that ARE into half life and black mesa though, they will be the next generation of badasses!

Killing the Science Team is NOT the Answer. Why must they be executed if they cause this mess they should be given a chance to fix their mistake. Murder is Sinful? Would you execute even the Women Scientists too? Corporal Adrian Shepard. Made it out of Black Mesa. The Guy with the Tie and Briefcase got him out but also armed a Nuclear Warhead which destroyed Black Mesa, Shepard witnessed the destruction after he killed a giant X-RAY. Shepard was taken by that strange man I don’t know what he has in planned for him. But that man also kept an eye on Gordon Freeman too. He transported Freeman years ahead into the future where he now fights for humanity’s survival.
Btw I have the "Black Mesa Content Pack" installed to SFM But most of the sounds and NPCs are missing A long side with the tank of course The bullsquid model was missing When i reinstalled the BMS DLC The tow cannon is missing The crossbow model is missing And some sounds are missing Like the sniper reload sound and some marine sounds i do believe Because when i first downloaded the content pack It doesn't wanna let me contiunue to SFM and i have to like do something And i was dumb I didn't even click "Launch SDK" and click the launch button And im having problems with NPCs now I also forgot to mention that i only have the tail for the bullsquid model Which is the gib model And i am missing alot of models and vehicle models for the BMS DLC But i do believe that i am also missing the musics from BMS And yeah Thats my problems to my BMS DLC I am missing alot of models and sounds I also installed the gargantua model in the SFM workshop Because i do believe i don't have the real gargatua model for SFM so i had to install the workshop version But it has the same model from the BMS gargantua And yeah I think thats all i can talk about And if anyone tells me how to fix SFM or tell me what is main problem to SFM Please reply to me.

The HECU and Black Ops were sent there as cleanup crew to hide all the evidence of research and incident and to eliminate the science team and security forces to prevent the informations from leaking outside.. The Gman just informed them few days before incident that something would happen in black mesa research facility. The HECU began to pull out soon because they could not hold off groups of aliens. This is why Black Ops started fighting with HECU. It was their plan B. The plan B of Black Ops was eliminating everyone except Black Ops forces in the facility and nuking the facility to bury all the secrets.
Black Mesa is such a awesome game but they extremely failed with the Marines, it is in 2003 and the helmets, uniforms and vests didn‘t even exist at that time, also they don‘t even have similar gear as the original ones, since they made it up from scratch, they should have atleast made them better, you can find pictures from actual nbc defense Marines from 2003, wished they would have done some research to make them look better
