      Depends on your interpretation, but in my eyes it's sort of symbolic. As a protagonist of a linear game, there is only one way forward. The world stops when you do. Inaction is not an option, and there is only one action available. I think the Gman represents that, seeing and creating these linear paths and setting the protagonists along them to meet his own ends.

      The cool / fun thing is that Shepard is the protagonist that has kind of a clear personality (he has a diary and you can read the important parts of it, like G-Man, Black Mesa, Indoor Training, Etc.)
      The other protagonists that has kind of a clear personality, are Gina Cross, and Colette Green.
      Their voice lines indicate that Gina is a quiet, calm, and a reserved character, while Colette is more outgoing, and talkative

    • @tytoalbasoren9457
      @tytoalbasoren9457 21 день назад +1

      @@arza-c3d The one you're talking about with the jamming issues was the Nam era which iirc was sorted in the A1 version.
      Pretty sure they had that waterproof issue mostly sorted out with the A2, and the one Shephard has is the A3 version (notice how he has full-auto) which was definitely waterproof because the only branch (afaik) that has the A3 issued was the Navy, and even then very few of them were made.
      If anything, the only major unrealism here is the fact that the Marines never issued the A3. They went for the M16A4 which had the full-auto replaced with a 3-round burst.
      Correct me if I'm wrong though...

    Very well executed . I love the silence in every moment ,drives paranoia . Little side notes : a trained operator would never cross any angle with no weapon or without pointing it in the general possible direction of the contatc . Neither would keep his sidearm in his backpack . Would never approach a new enemy bigger than him (shock trooper ) never seen before with a new weapon he has no previous training before ,expecially in a ambush move ,neither would leave it there once he understood the weapon is good and working properly with minimal knowledge. Many other things i like about your work tho ,like the knife underwater ,the wrench for keep low profile and minkmal effort and the "hunting" approach you gave Shephard during his encounter with the bullsquid ( in reality using one of those spgs would be considered suicide at that range , but i get the message ) .Very good work !
