Roger's behavior after passing a sanity check = everyone else's after failing one.
I've been rewatching this from the beginning again (because I'm obsessed) and I just realized the "Hello? Hello?" and them going into the smoking lounge is in the fucking screenplay pages they found when first searching the apartment!!! DELTA GREEN is the best game ever.
I just went back to check, actual chills, this is the coolest ever!

What y'all are doing here is providing material, recorded proof something I've know for years as a player: that RPGs are a compelling form of storytelling.

IRL you can do CPR with 2 people. One person takes over while the other takes a break around every 3 to 5 cycles of compressions and breaths.
Now that I'm rewatching the beginning banter, the "why the hell are we doing this?" part aged really well with what TRUE AMERICAN PATRIOT Roger Cumstone did afterwards

Do you know which track specifically?
Roger reminds me of Amos (from The Expanse), but lacking the impulse to find someone with a moral compass when he knows he doesn't have one.
Opening a door into a building extending into extradimensional space? Nah.
Reading the King in Yellow? Nope.
Roger Cumstone subduing and interrogating someone? Roll for sanity.
Beyond the Supernatural! Psychic investigators! I love that game - good drop on that Skid. So many good tables for insanity
watching this episode while healing from getting a wisdom tooth wrestled out of my skull was a bad idea... hurts to smile and laugh so this episode was extra painful... so so good...

Counter to Skid's explanation - the players go in expecting the unnatural, but a Delta Green operative also goes in expecting the unnatural. The real advantage the players have is that this is a diverting, entertaining story with their friends, while for the Delta Green operative, these bizarre, impossible things are really happening.
Edit: Joe said something very similar.
The thought of Imperial Russia and Imperial Germany working together is pretty terrifying. Much more terrifying than killing some poor random woman.

Just wanted to point out that the luck roll for bananas was completely unnecessary 😆. Now the condition of those bananas is a completely different story.

I've watch this scenario, Impossible Landscapes, twice before. On one channel i like , thee other i really like and this now this channel, that i really like as well, GCN. Alot of differences and similarities aplenty , of course. But one i was really looking forward to here was an interaction with this group and Michelle van Fitz , other than the one here , which was very good. The group interviews her , and wanted to see how Joe played her. The other 2 viewings of Impossible Landscapes , she was a total 'karen'. And thought it would be fun fun to see Joe do that. Missed opportunity, maybe .But thats' ok.

I had a new player scoff at the idea that an unsettling experience could affect a person's sanity, so I waited for a good scene:
His character was grabbing a beer during a planning meeting and dropped a bottlecap into the disposal; when he squeezed his hand in to grab it, something like a moist, furry mouth tasted his fingers gently but hungrily...the player was wigged out for the rest of the night hehehe

I had a friend in high school that slept with his eyes open it was so freaky. So many times we all thought he was dead. It was messed up.
If i ever played this i feel like i would want to play an Irish demolitionist, maybe with mafia ties, and with all this weird stuff I'd be wanting to just prep the entire building to blow.
