This episode gave me strong "12 Monkeys" vibes (almost 13 😅) Joe is an amazing actor, he does a great job portraying all the characters in the hospital 😎
FYI, the (great) character art in Impossible Landscapes is by Dennis Detwiller - who also wrote the adventure and is the line editor for Delta Green. He's an RPG Renaissance man.
Watched a summary of Impossible Landscapes…that was more than 4 hours long! Given his grasp of the rich content and his smooth delivery, Joe has officially Leveled Up in my mind as an amazing Handler/storyteller!
Joe is not messing around with the pacing, I like it when there is a heated moment and Joe pressures the players to act quickly. He doesn't give a whole lot of slack. But yeah his pacing all around is really solid.
Okay, I'm extremely interested in learning more about what's going on with that individual Bobby is taking to.... Every little hint made my ears perk up!
You all need a EGOT award for this! Not sure what it is. But I googled the highest award in entertainment and Google said the EGOT is a grand slam for the entertainment industry. So you all deserve one for this! This is so epic!
You guys (and by "you guys" I mean everybody) should play the game Inside. Go in blind, it's only a couple of hours but man it is a Delta Green type experience.
Fantastic work! The agents are starting to unravel the mystery, but what does it even mean if they’ve really been patients for decades? It sounds like they’ll be getting some much needed group therapy next week. Surely they’ll regain some of that lost sanity… 😏
"A big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff." I am pretty sure they are in the world of Night Floors, which is separate from Carcosa, the realm of Hastur. At least I think. No spoilers, please. :)
Just did a full marathon re-listen of season 4 through end of season 5 before starting season 6 and I was most excited to get to this episode. Didn't disappoint what an absolute mind fuck. Well done to everyone involved.
I know it's troy doing that ad read, but despite listening to hundreds of hours of his voice work, I'm not sure I would have been able to tell out of context. Pretty amazing! Well done Troy!
You missed "Warehouse 13" - a television show about modern day secret agents getting magical stuff out of circulation in society and into the eponymous warehouse. You can see why that oversight stood out to me on your Delta Green podcast.
Man, I need a document that just continually updates with all these NPCs, where the crew saw them originally, what new information they have about them, etc. Can't keep track of all these people!
Watching true detective season 3 and witnesses say the missing girl talked about "living in the pink rooms/ being a Queen in the pink castle". Wondering if it's another king in yellow reference, since they mention the events of the first season in season 3...
I love the change in Skid's voice when he is in character- deeper, slower, more resonant. Very mellifluous and atmospheric! 😆 It may be my imagination, but the effect seems to grow stronger as his character's sanity falls. Awesome work!
Somewhere in asia i have been told one of the words for the number 4 sounds similar to the word for death so it is also considered bad luck and some buildings, mostly hotels, lack both the 4th floor and the 13th
Definitely common enough for some buildings in Japan, where I live, to lack a 4th floor, but it really depends on the owner of the building and whether they buy into that stuff. A lot of newer buildings will have 4th (and 13th for that matter, idk if I've ever seen a missing 13th here) floors no problem. I happen to live in an older apartment building that even skips the 4th room on each floor - so it'll go 202, 203, 205, 206. Interesting how humans incorporate their superstitions into the world around them!
Another amazing ep. I've got the campaign book and this always makes me want to get it to the table. Just need to find the time! Also have fond memories of watcing The 13th Floor in NYC many moons ago.
Now you understand a little more how it is being a teacher, Joe. Are you going too fast? Too slow? Is it engaging? Is it too much information? Do you make them work for it and fail, or help them out? Couple episodes ago you were just giving it away left and right. I didn't prefer it and think it takes away from the players, GM, and us... but I can't imagine how tough this specific campaign is with all the names and connections it has. Some compromise is surely possible, though!
Mathew Lillard, Powers Bless him. He went on to co-create Beadle and Grimm. And yes he was the voice of Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo movie. I want THIS guy and Sam Witwer in my game. Peace Out.

Joe could be the best GM on the internet imo
@@thehermitthetower1126 yep

For a non-trained actor DAMN JOE - you are killing it this season. I am so invested in the characters - this is one of the best episodes yet!

Thanks!
Agrees 100%
Just realized Rudy is the gas station attendant Roger’s boss was trying to get ahold of after Roger quit/got fired.
Zomg
Can not get enough of this! Love the job you guys are doing on this Delta Green campaign!
Thanks!
Get in the Trunk has been one of the best shows since the beginning! It just keeps on giving.
Thanks!
Francis was on fire this episode !
Vicki: busts down the door, yelling "HEY" looking all frazzled
Also Vicki: I'm not causing a scene
Every time Joe brings up Closer by Nine Inch Nails it gets stuck in my head for a week
Got a push notification from Arby’s right as Neil was injecting Fran in the last episode hahahah
Joe's sense of pacing in terms of when to switch between scenes is absolutely incredible.
Joe is the best!
Joe is not messing around with the pacing, I like it when there is a heated moment and Joe pressures the players to act quickly. He doesn't give a whole lot of slack. But yeah his pacing all around is really solid.
Mr Ed......made me smile everytime Joe says it......
Holy shit….that doctor….is…..A DEMON!!!!!!! Also I’m stealing “we should probably go look for the cheese”🤣🤣🤣
Loving the series, season 4 inspired me to run Impossible Landscapes myself and now season 5 is making me want to run it again with a new group!
Okay, I'm extremely interested in learning more about what's going on with that individual Bobby is taking to.... Every little hint made my ears perk up!
Favorite thing on RUclips. I love this so much, bought the books, gonna totally run it.
Nice! Thanks for watching!

Emmy, Golden globe, Oscar, Tony.

It just hit me, but, Skid's playing of Neil is reminding me of John Noble's character from Fringe.
You guys are just incredible. ❤
Neat. Interesting choice with Sunshine. Hope they make it to the door.
13th floor is great! It was one of the main inspections for the matrix.

I thought it was Joe.

Skid is losing it at the end. F me. This is soooooo good!

13th Warrior is one of my all time fave films; fact main character is a historical figure who did meet Norsemen always makes me laugh
So good!! More pure excellence from the Glass Cannon Network, it's great to be part of the Naish!!
Thanks!
13 Ghosts, great old movie.

I can confirm. Most 4th Floors are marked "F"
The skyline in the background freaks me out every time. They have NO CLUE how bad this is.
Water fountain? Water fountain?! Immersion completely broken. Everyone know it’s called a bubbler in Boston.
Lol
Thats cool, fun factoid early in the morning.
Legit have had NIN on spotify since last episode 😂😂
Another amazing ep. I've got the campaign book and this always makes me want to get it to the table. Just need to find the time! Also have fond memories of watcing The 13th Floor in NYC many moons ago.

Very Lynchian vibes in this great Ep!

So good
@1:30:17, no Sydney, that's John Cena, not Stone Cold Steve Austin. 😆
Need a guest appearance from Matthew next week
13 Ghosts
