FYI, the (great) character art in Impossible Landscapes is by Dennis Detwiller - who also wrote the adventure and is the line editor for Delta Green. He's an RPG Renaissance man.

Watched a summary of Impossible Landscapes…that was more than 4 hours long! Given his grasp of the rich content and his smooth delivery, Joe has officially Leveled Up in my mind as an amazing Handler/storyteller!

On the beginning discussion about players remembering or not what happened previously:
I have to say it reaaaaally varies depending on your group of players. I had people not remembering things from the previous week and others knowing exactly what happened 3 months prior without really reading their notes and it's really rewarding (and for them too if you're not spoon feeding). I think it boils down to carefully select players for investigation games like DG and say up front that they're expected to take good notes. But yeah as a Handler it's tough to juggle between refreshing memories that characters should have and letting your players figure things out

I love the change in Skid's voice when he is in character- deeper, slower, more resonant. Very mellifluous and atmospheric! 😆
It may be my imagination, but the effect seems to grow stronger as his character's sanity falls.

You guys (and by "you guys" I mean everybody) should play the game Inside. Go in blind, it's only a couple of hours but man it is a Delta Green type experience.
Loving the series, season 4 inspired me to run Impossible Landscapes myself and now season 5 is making me want to run it again with a new group!
Okay, I'm extremely interested in learning more about what's going on with that individual Bobby is taking to.... Every little hint made my ears perk up!
Joe's sense of pacing in terms of when to switch between scenes is absolutely incredible.
Joe is the best!
Joe is not messing around with the pacing, I like it when there is a heated moment and Joe pressures the players to act quickly. He doesn't give a whole lot of slack. But yeah his pacing all around is really solid.
Just did a full marathon re-listen of season 4 through end of season 5 before starting season 6 and I was most excited to get to this episode. Didn't disappoint what an absolute mind fuck. Well done to everyone involved.
You missed "Warehouse 13" - a television show about modern day secret agents getting magical stuff out of circulation in society and into the eponymous warehouse.
You can see why that oversight stood out to me on your Delta Green podcast.
Fantastic work! The agents are starting to unravel the mystery, but what does it even mean if they’ve really been patients for decades? It sounds like they’ll be getting some much needed group therapy next week. Surely they’ll regain some of that lost sanity… 😏

Man, I need a document that just continually updates with all these NPCs, where the crew saw them originally, what new information they have about them, etc. Can't keep track of all these people!
It just hit me, but, Skid's playing of Neil is reminding me of John Noble's character from Fringe.
You all need a EGOT award for this! Not sure what it is. But I googled the highest award in entertainment and Google said the EGOT is a grand slam for the entertainment industry. So you all deserve one for this! This is so epic!

Somewhere in asia i have been told one of the words for the number 4 sounds similar to the word for death so it is also considered bad luck and some buildings, mostly hotels, lack both the 4th floor and the 13th
Definitely common enough for some buildings in Japan, where I live, to lack a 4th floor, but it really depends on the owner of the building and whether they buy into that stuff. A lot of newer buildings will have 4th (and 13th for that matter, idk if I've ever seen a missing 13th here) floors no problem. I happen to live in an older apartment building that even skips the 4th room on each floor - so it'll go 202, 203, 205, 206. Interesting how humans incorporate their superstitions into the world around them!

Now you understand a little more how it is being a teacher, Joe. Are you going too fast? Too slow? Is it engaging? Is it too much information? Do you make them work for it and fail, or help them out?
Couple episodes ago you were just giving it away left and right. I didn't prefer it and think it takes away from the players, GM, and us... but I can't imagine how tough this specific campaign is with all the names and connections it has. Some compromise is surely possible, though!
The skyline in the background freaks me out every time. They have NO CLUE how bad this is.
Another amazing ep. I've got the campaign book and this always makes me want to get it to the table. Just need to find the time! Also have fond memories of watcing The 13th Floor in NYC many moons ago.
