For years, Joe has always been jokingly down on himself for his improv - HE IS PHENOMENAL as the hospital characters! DG is my must see YT show.
Came here to say the same thing. His NPC work has been incredible throughout the show and especially this season. Kudos Joe! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
He plays two different characters talking to each other sooo well!
@@theg0z0n especially in Legacy of the Ancients!
The amount of times that crayons/„crowns“ play a role in this season is astonishing
We commit to the bit.
Skid is so funny! Every playgroup needs a Skid.
Skid is the best!
I found GCN when they played Call of Cthulhu w/Seth Skorkowsky and Skid is a big part of what drew me in further...I love 'em all, but his roleplay was hilarious 😅
Couldn't agree more, all the GCN players and GMs are great, but Skid is a personal favourite.
waiting for get in the trunk to start is such sweet agony
I know right? Finishing up prep for running Convergence tonight, then get to listen to GITT on my way home. Tuesdays rock 🪨
I always line up the previous 2 episodes while I listen at work the following day. I go to bed hekkin early so I rarely get to see it on the premiere
Joe absolutely KILLED playing two characters talking to each other. Top tier work Joe.
I could tell Skid wanted to pull Joe through the screen and throttle him at the Needle part and scream MAKE IT STOP!
I used to have a lot of doctor friends 😂
Talking to the repairer of reputations!!! Mind blown.
A couple weeks ago i helped my dad move from one city to another with my brother. During the drive, i made my brother listen to GITT. He hit me up this morning caught up on S-4,5 about this episode
well said Skid. Well said.
Heckling in plays...
As a kid I did that at a play forcing the actor on stage to improvise with a ladder after others joined in.
Also English panto 🤔
"He's behind you!"
I already forgot what all Mr. Wilde said in last ep, but is it possible he was in the Apartment building when they burned it down?
Mister Willde = Ed Miller Wist. His name is an anagram. I believe Wist killed his family and burned his house down which is where he would have gotten the scars. I haven't see the whole ep yet but I expect this to be the reveal.
best thing EVER! Again, thank you so much for this, Sidney, Joe, Troy, Skid and Francis!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Troy! Leave those books too a local theatre or community centre! There is going to be 100% someone who will get these books! Books are so useful, you can't throw them away unless they are very broken and ruined :(
S4 E14: "I like to purchase my books, because I don't want to touch books that other people have touched. I don't know if you know this, but when people read, they tend to touch their genitals and pick at their face, and then touch the pages. This whole place is contaminated with skin and... genital touchings."
Such a good ep. So happy I got the DG bundles of holding. I need to run my friends through this.
Nice!
A very moving and gripping performance as Sunshine.
And everyone in Delta Green needs to be applauded. Everyone.
That was too good. Skid is a treasure.
I adore you guys, it just feels like a group of friends loving a tabletop game. Francis is smashing it with his Bobby potrayal!
Also I'm an episode late, but I thought the Nine Inch Nails that plays would be "She's gone away" ala twin peaks season 3!
Every Character and NPC is so real and interesting
Its like watching a new season of actually good True Detective
What fine content. In my opinion, this is by far the most exciting sourcebook y'all have played from yet
This is the best thing on the internet.
Watching King Bael explain the spiritual concept of Lila and Samsara to the group as if it was crazy talk made me wild. I clicked with this immediately. I understood exactly what Bael was saying and the references to the world he was making. Idk if what Bael said is true but I get him entirely. Goddamn that was cool.
Mr. Wilde, the repairer of reputations.
Man I really look forward to this show every week! Joe is such a awesome handler. I would love if next season you guys do a short talk back show for your patrons. I'd love to get everyone's immediate thoughts about the episode it would be fun I think
Kindle/E-Readers are awesome.
Riding the bus and being able to read one-handed is great, made commuting to university so much more bearable.
I do still love my physical books, but I'm much faster reading on my Kobo
This show just keep on giving! As always a terrific job GM'ing Joe. You really pull off the (lovecraftian) horror well!
Thanks!
You know, usually when characters break the 4th wall it's for laughs. Never really thought of the horror potential before.
Skid wearing a hat from my shitty hometown feels kinda surreal too.
Go tigers baby
finally finished this one. great episode. the impressions of Bael and Wilde are really good. i guess we soon go to the stage ahem...
love the end - also plan to use it earlier in my run of the campaign. you are a damn good handler, Joe!
Syd should put that d20 to a saltwater test.
I like the idea that instead of losing your ability to read at a certain point, you just can't read any new media that comes out after that random point. Well I hope that new version of the dictionary didn't have any important new words in it.
Ahh, what a horrible cliffy! 😆 Episodes like these make me so excited for Wednesday mornings.
mad session
You'd almost think Joe wants Syd to fail the sanity check...
The biggest downside to wanting to run this campaign for friends is not being able to expose any of them to GitT.
As an aside:
I read constantly. As a writer (unpublished), I have had the experience of being so inundated with words that I completely lost the ability to read for an evening. I just could not process anything that I was looking at, in terms of the english language. For the first time, I had a use for emotes. It was awful.
Roger, a sanity check, please
I really wonder if Joe meant to go 2, 4, 6, 10, or if that was supposed to be an eight?
So good!
I'm going to be so sad when this book finishes. I already hate waiting a week for episodes. Months is going to be unbearable.
Skid is on one 😂
Awesome sauce
Took my daughter to see Cats - local production - she is five. I love live theater and sharing theater and orchestra with her. I will take her to as much as possible.
What i hate is the fact that people have no respect for theater. I mean seriously cut offs and berkinstocks at the opera / theater . maybe it is just living close to c-attle and people are just too lax. I always dress appropriate and make sure my daughter does as well. it shows respect and appreciation for the cast and crew.
I'm wondering, since several of you guys love baseball, if you were SABR / Moneyball stat fanatics
ugh! eyeballs!
Crown or crayon?
guys guys guys... libraries. Your taxes pay for it, you meet other book lovers, and sometimes they have good programs.
Kindles are great for trashy throwaway "guilty pleasure" books, but actual proper serious books should always be manifested physically.
NOPE NOPE NOPE DO NOT LISTEN AUGH
Quick note for you guys: when you have anything along lines of needles going near eyeballs, put a content warning on that shit. It sends some of us into panic attacks.
Poor Roger, of course, of course. But the real torture here is having to wait another week!
Such a horrible show… wait, I mean horror-filled show! A little disappointed there weren’t more lobotomies, I mean come on Joe it’s an asylum. Come on man! 🫣🤣🤣🤣 just kidding amazing group amazing game and an amazing game master!
