I like to think that Steve is fully fluent in every language and just reads off all of these directions on foreign rations like he knows what it says.
After eating many mre’s for months on end I can say seeing your videos on other countries systems of feeding their troops is fascinating. Even if it’s way out dated you still take a bite out of the food. Love the vids man.
Steve - I spent 5 years working as the project manager for an algae to oil start up company. We visited the largest spirulina growing facility in the US and let me tell you, after seeing that, I will never eat spirulina again. The growth ponds were covered with flies and they don't separate them out when they harvest. Eat it if you want, but I won't.
Nice

"You always need that, especially in outer space" Steve while performing gusset saving surgery on chinese space pineapple lmao
Hell yeah it's always a good day when Steve uploads!!
Glad to see this video. I've been in hospital for three months. This is the second video I see. Thanks.
Love your videos man. They are perfect for late night snack time to be thankful for what we got.
Chinese Space Pineapple. Cuttlefish Balls. Soylent Green bars. Nice 😳. Thank you Steve for a fascinating presentation.
nice!
Wow, this video is a treat! Such interesting, rare rations, and so many of them! Thank you, Steve!
Hey thanks so much for checking this one out!
Meanwhile, at TEMU, "Why are they searching for Chinese Space Pineapple?!"
Don't do this to me... I have to find some now.
Cuttlefish balls lol
Wow I didn’t expect a tray within a tray in this one. Nice.
It's a birthday miracle! a new steve video!
happy birrrrthday to youuuuuu

"no, not really" is such a funny response to the question "is this rancid?" Just Steve things
I feel like Steve doesn't age. He looks the same as he did in his videos 8 years ago! He is truly part superhuman.
nice!
It’s all the preservatives he eats!😅
Parts of this video were recorded a while back. In the videos from two weeks ago, you can see he's changed the decorations on his wall.
Yup, military grade preservatives @@codean909
@@furrymessiah that makes sense! 👍
Green food bar - Soylent Green is people!
Steve, the only man who can make a person run out and pick up a case of rations after one of his most excellent reviews.
I am watching for years and years Steve eating MREs and not a single minute of this time was wasted! :)
I have chronic gastritis, your videos fill me with determination 😂.
A new video.. thank you Steve.. your work is awesome..
Right on thanks Hank!
@@Steve1989MRE very welcome... My son is six, he found your channel on my RUclips and has become fascinated... he is allowed one video per day 😁.. he wants to get Mexican MREs next time we visit family in Mexico..
Opening those cans inside was a boss move. For me that would have been an outside task.
Hi Steve! Thanks for doing another Chinese ration! I love watching stuff from my mother's home country. Much love, thank you for everything you post.
I love how MREs are quite revealing about the culture that they come from. The PLA stuff seems to be rooted in Chinese cuisine, but also quite rational for what sort of missions they're meant to be accompanying a soldier for.
Man i jusy love jamming to steve's videos while eating it just feels so right
Chinese Space Pineapple would be a great band name.
Their second album 'rancid cuttlefish' was an absolute classic.
Sounds like a stoner doom metal band
"That looks a lot more normal and appealing" and out comes this ghastly looking clump of spotted slime
Never change, Steve
I just burst out laughing when that slid out of the package, too funny
That guy looks like he's having fun going to space!
As a meteorite collector and space nerd, I seriously enjoyed the bonus content! 🤩
No judgement in the videos, there`s a US American eating a out of date Chinese ration or several of them. Not a single comment or remark towards it. That´s very respectable and the true message from his videos I think! Keep it up Mr. Steve.
Just today I actually tried a Chinese self heating meal thing, which actually had these bits congealed duck blood in it, but somehow was delicious...
Way too much salt though. Yeah, that was surprisingly the only bad thing.
Oh wow that sounds adventurous! nice
